Site 41, 30 amp and water. $21/ night. Grass, some shade. Quite long, but would be really, really narrow if the adjoining site was occupied. Lots of grass, some dust, lots of flies and strong odor (horses, cows, etc.). Many fields to walk dogs in but lots of dung for them to eat, too. Great showers and bathrooms in the "new" building. Ok for overnight. Definitely avoid if an event is scheduled. Good for a night or two.

Did I mention the flies? We camped at Twin Falls County Fair in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a large campground at the county fair. It's off the beaten path, so there isn't really much road noise. All of the hookups are at the rear of your vehicle, so we had to park sideways and take up 3+ spots. Luckily, there's almost no one ever in the park, so that wasn't a problem. Water, sewer, and power are all on the end, and the setup for that is fine if you either have really long hoses or if there's no one in the park. They don't take reservations because it's so infrequently used, which was a minor concern but turned out to be fine. We were woken up at 8am on Saturday by a loudspeaker because they were having a horse showing contest. There are a lot of ground wasps and flies, so we picked a spot that was further from them. It's pretty dark at night. Great value though! It's about 10 minutes from town. We camped at Twin Falls County Fair in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Inexpensive and lots of space. Interior roads are gravel and sites are fairly level grass. Lots of room if there are not activities going on at the County Fair. Many sites have shade trees. We only used electric & water for our overnight, both good. Texaco on the corner and 10 min to get into Twin Falls where you can get anything you need. No CG amenities but there is hiking, kayaking, BASE jumping, biking and a lovely scenic drive or two nearby. VzW is strong and there is a free open WiFi that you can connect to. We camped at Twin Falls County Fair in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Go see Shoshone Falls, it's only $3 a car and very pretty. The west-most turnout on the Scenic US-30 Byway is the prettiest... right after you get off I-84 at Hageman and start heading east. There are also beautiful "spring falls" spouting from the cliffs along the drive.

Stayed here 3 days, nice office personnel, very helpful. Roads were a little potted, but not bad (it is a fairgrounds). Spaces were nice, and we had good electric and water pressure and sewer. We will stay here again. Fantastic stay. 17. We camped at Twin Falls County Fair in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Easy to get into if you know where to turn, enter at Gate 1 off of Fair Ave. The office is on your right just inside the gate. Drive back through the buildings to the grassy hookups. Grassy, uneven spots. All utilities are at the far back of the sites. Utilities worked fine but the sewer hookups are high so tough to get a flow. Strong Verizon signal. Big new bathroom building with 10 individual rooms with shower, toilet and sink. Very quiet at night and during the day during the week. Insane number of flies which get inside and drive you nuts. Road was very muddy when rained. We camped at Twin Falls County Fair in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a large county fairground with dozens of buildings, a very large arena, a smaller concert area and multiple agricultural "streets". Over the course of the two weeks we were there the grounds hosted two concerts, a parade, two 4-H events, an American Kennel Associate dog show, a Taxidermy Art Show, a Big Truck and Engine Show and three times a week the local Junior Riding Club showed up with their horses for practice in the ring. We enjoyed all of this for FREE! There is a world-class Memorial Rose Garden on site with benches for contemplation. The managers and staff of the fairground were very friendly & helpful. The fairground campground has a brand new shower house with very clean private shower rooms/bathrooms. This campground is large and configured well for a rally. There is no pool or rec room but that is a small price to pay for this super clean park. The daily rate is $20 a night but if you stay all week, they only charge you for five days! There is a two week maximum stay. We camped at Twin Falls County Fair in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

In addition, there is plenty to do in the Snake River Valley including kayaking, hiking, and wineries. Craters of the Moon National Monument and Rock City are both within two hours, and both Hagerman National Fossil Beds and Hagerman National Fishery are within 35 minutes. Balanced Rock is about 20 minutes away.

This was a great stop! We had read the reviews that this was basically an empty grassy parking lot, and I can tell you that is true, but it was just what we needed. It was affordable, pretty level spot, had a strong Verizon signal, was peaceful, nearly empty (had the whole place to ourselves), had beautiful sunrises and sunsets, was close to Twin Falls and amenities, and did I mention that we were pretty much the only people in the whole place??? And we liked the relaxed, no frills atmosphere. It was a nice change. If we ever go through here again, we will stop here. :) We camped at Twin Falls County Fair in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

This is truly a wonderful place to park if you like peace and quiet. When there is not an event at the fair grounds you almost have the place to yourself. On the busiest night there were 4 spaces out of 189 filled. They don't even assign you a space, just tell you to pick out anyone you like. I was a bit nervous about parking on the grass due to recent rains, but it is thick, heavy sod and barely even showed where we had been parked.

Most sites are FHU, a few just water and electric. The restroom/shower building is new, very private and totally spotless. Some even have frost proof faucets if you need a water connection in the colder months.

The staff are all delightful people who will help guide you to where you need to go. If there was a way to give bonus points this park truly deserves them. All this for only $15.90 per night with taxes added in. We will be back next Spring! We camped at Twin Falls County Fair in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Flier is 7 miles west of Twin Falls. In Twin Falls you can find just about anything you want or need. This is our twice a year stopover when moving from summer to winter. Here we stock up on the necessities -- food, fuel and good feelings. The people are friendly, traffic is never a problem.

Very nice county fairground park. Need to check for events. Level back-in sites. At least 25% of sites have sewer in addition to power and water. During low use times, folks just park lengthwise instead of backing in. Office is building just right of entrance to grounds signed by "Twin Falls County Fair". Staff is helpful. About seven miles to Twin Falls. We camped at Twin Falls County Fair in a Fifth Wheel.
