We loved this RV park. Easy access from the freeway. Beautiful grassy grounds with huge shade trees. Plenty of room for our 40 ft RV and tow without unhooking and very spacious sites. There is no dog park but the big grassy areas gave our dog a place to run after a long day of travel. We will definitely stay again! We camped at High Adventure River Tours RV Park in a Motorhome.

We have been staying here since 09, either coming or going to Texas. Some times twice a year. We didn't meet the owner for several years, just on the phone, always pleasant. We used the drop box. It is a nice quiet place for an overnight or to visit the local area. It was a Passport America for years, but no more. Sorry to say I will not be returning. I have been priced out for an overnight stop. We camped at High Adventure River Tours RV Park in a Motorhome.

A few things have changed since my last review. The dump station with fresh water is now available, the trees are now well groomed and new washers and dryers are on order. This park now only gives Good Sam customers a discount. Water and electric sites are currently costing $35 and FHU over $40 without the discount. This RV Park has been for sale for at least 4 years. This is still a nice park for an overnight or longer stays, however the cost per night is getting a little steep. We camped at High Adventure River Tours RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very little has changed since we were here about 4 years ago. This is a great overnight campground. It is also worth spending a day or two exploring the area. There are a number of interesting state parks such as Malad Gorge, Hagerman Fossil Bed NM and Box Canyon in the area.

All of the interior roads and sites within High Adventure RV Park are on volcanic rock. All sites are pull-thrus, extremely long and fairly level. They can accommodate almost any size rig. Every site is separated by a wide swatch of grass. Most of the sites are shaded provided by the mature trees. Some of them need a little pruning.

The first row has water and electric, the second row has FHU's. There was a dump station but it appears to no longer be in use. During our stay the FHU row was filled with seasonal residents. The electrical box contained 30 and 20 amp plugs. The voltage was good. The utility box and water spigot was on the appropriate side.

There are (2) bathrooms each containing a shower. They were clean and usable. There is (1) washer and (1) dryer costing $0.75 each.

There are neither picnic tables nor fire rings on the sites. WiFi was available and usable. Verizon air card and cell phone reception was good.

It was very quiet at night. This is an excellent campground to kick back and relax. We will come back to this park. We have a 32 foot 5th wheel. We camped at High Adventure River Tours RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

If you like elbow room, private grassy area, level sites, quiet and a location close to Thousand Springs State parks, this is the place for you. It is right off I84 but very quiet and only 30 miles from Twin Falls BUT all the state park sites are very close! The park does not have amenities and a little bare bones but the staff is friendly and accommodating and the sites are nice! Price is terrific!

Very close to all 5 Thousand Springs parks. Malad Gorge is right across the street! 10 miles to Box Canyon, 30 miles to Shoshone Falls, 15 miles to Ritter Island.

Truly a Campground and we love it. We had time to kill so we stayed two nights. Located right along the on ramp for eastbound I-84 but set back and very quiet. All wide Pull thru sites, full hook-ups 50amps on back sites. Had plenty of room for our 43' Motor Home and toad. Partial on front. lots of trees but not heavily wooded. Satellite was kind of iffy because of some trees on the south end of the FHU sites, however owner said it was ok to turn around the wrong way if we wanted to get a better signal. Lots of singing birds. No WiFi .Cafe wasn't open. We camped at High Adventure River Tours RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a good over night stop. If owner not there working on trucks, call for prices as Passport America is $20 and Good Sam is $24 for power and water sites (all you need for one night). There is 50 amp ful hookups if you need. No Wi-Fi but AT&T and Verizon work well. Trees line up so satellite reception is OK. Interstate noise not an issue. All pull-throughs. Will stay as a stopover again. We camped at High Adventure River Tours RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is pretty much a one night campground for folks traveling the interstate which butts up against this campground. The interstate noise is not bad, and I'm noise sensitive. The campground is for sale, but don't let that worry you. The rates posted are substantially higher, but give the phone number a ring and it will be reduced especially if you are a member of camping "clubs" like Good Sam. All sites are pull through and fairly level. The back row of 12 are all FHU, the middle row of ~14 are water/power and front row is all tent camping. Dump station on site in the back row. There is shade here too. All sites are pull through. Only 30 amp though. Plenty of room between sites. No owner/work campers on site so you are on the honor system for payment. They do allow you to wash/wax your rig on site. There is no wifi/cable. We were able to get satellite reception. Verizon data/cell service were terrific. The Riverside Restaurant just a little drive down the road will provide a good meal with ample portions and acceptable pricing. If you get a chance to make it to Buhl, we found an amazingly good Mexican restaurant called La Plaza. Pick up some of her tamales for the freezer. We did when we were here earlier in the year. She wraps them individually, and if she doesn't have them ready, she'll make them for you if you provide her enough time. Her food is really not to be missed. Hagerman is a beautiful area with good Harley rides, hot springs down the road, fossil beds and the Oregon trail ran through here. We would return to this campground. What a great find...we called ahead & spoke with the owner, who was very friendly. She quoted the Passport rate, told us to find a site & drop a check in the night deposit box. The sites were level, had nice trees, and even though it was right off the Interstate, there was no road noise at all. We will stay here again for sure! We pulled in to an empty building with a fee drop box stating $30-$36 rates. This is a gravel parking lot with no one around. There was a rough, handwritten sign saying "use bathrooms at the nearby state park" which I'll bet the state park appreciates. With the closed-down building and no bathrooms and no laundry, as advertised, we most certainly were not going to pay those prices. We left without staying. This is a great place to stop while traveling. The sites are level with good hook-ups. The sewer runs a slight up hill. Rest rooms are clean, but old. They also offer river trips leaving right from the park. This rate is from Passport America. We camped at High Adventure River Tours RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This park, apparently is for sale, or has recently been sold. There is no owner or operator present, so one pays and puts the check in a mail slot. The park itself is quite nice, with level sites, attractively surrounded by several trees. The big negative is that the trees prevent getting TV via satellite. There is no cable service. If the owners were here to give some feel of security, and if one could get satellite, this park would deserve a rating of 9 or 10. The $20 nightly rate is the Passport rate, for 50 amp service. This is a nice RV Park right off of I-84. The interior roads and sites were on packed gravel. The first row of sites had W/E only and the remaining rows were FHU. The electrical pedestal had 20/30/50 amp service. All of the sites were extremely long. We did not unhitch our truck. The voltage was good. Verizon air card and cell phone worked well here. There were two clean bathrooms with showers. There were a number of long term residents. There was some road noise at night but it was not too bad. The owner mentioned that this park was sold and the new owners would be taking over the park in October. We would come back here again if we were passing through. This was the Passport America rate. We camped at High Adventure River Tours RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice level, shaded sites. No road noise from the interstate. Very pleasant/nice/fun owner/host. They had a prime-rib dinner on Friday evening that was great for $19.00. The sites are shaded with cottonwood trees that had already shed the cotton, but it was all over the ground; wouldn't be fun in the spring if you have allergies. Good walking area through the corn fields. We camped at High Adventure River Tours RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a beautiful park, but it's not located right in Hagerman. People go to Hagerman, can't find this park, and end up staying somewhere else. What a shame! This park is only 1/8 mile south off Hwy 84 at Exit 147. Large level sites, great Wi-Fi, grassy lawns, and wide, gravel roads. So peaceful and quiet (no, you can't even hear the freeway). We truly enjoyed this park. And the laundry is cheap - wash $1, dry 75 cents! We would definitely stay here again We camped at High Adventure River Tours RV Park in a Motorhome.
