Jun 2017 - $34.00
Large family friendly, two maintained pools, one kids oriented with swivel slide and other more adult like. I swam laps in adult pool and temperature warm. Miniature golf I didn't use. Nice area to walk dogs let alone going around park. Most sites spacious. Permanent residents are located together on one side. Kids park and covered picnic area that probably holds 40 people. - ThePattersons
Apr 2017 - $34.00
Hard to judge too much when we were just there overnight in the rain. The park is wooded, with narrow grassy sites that were soggy with the rain. Gravel/muddy roads, quiet setting, nice restroom/shower in main building up front. Pool and other bathhouse were not opened. $ for Wifi, RV dealer next door. There was a beautiful (in pictures) waterfall nearby that we couldn't go to because of the weather. Shoshone Falls is called the "Niagara falls of the west". - TN Gator
Oct 2016 - $36.00
We stayed here for 4 days. It is a mixed use (tents and rv's) park. It looks like it could be very busy during the summer season. Lots of things for children to do. Long spots that were easy in and out. FHU but no cable and the wifi is available for a fee. We were given a spot that was easy to hook up to satellite. Verizon worked well. Overall it was a very nice park and we would stay there again if in the area. - california traveler
Sep 2016 - $35.00
On site owners are great; very helpful. They take care of everything. The location is close to town and far enough from the highway so noise is not an issue. They have 4 brand new Whirlpool Washers and 4 Whirlpool dryers. - Walt and Adrienne Whatley
Aug 2016 - $41.00
Roads are gravel, sites are tight, some with trees for shade. The pet area is at the far end of the park. Cable and WiFi are good. Park is a Good Sam park, but they don't give a discount. - ta96silver
Aug 2015 - $38.00
This park is under new ownership....so they seem to be trying to improve the cleanliness of the park. They seem to be obsessed with cleaning a concrete pad instead of pruning suckers off trees and pulling weeds. While we were enjoying happy hour after spending 4 hours cleaning my rig a street sweeper fired up covering everything with dirt and dust, needless to say I was not a happy camper. Don't know that I will return. The park has only one shower which had been recently redone and it was clean. The sites are gravel. The park is easy access to town. - Cactusflower
Oct 2016 - $15.00
This campground is within the county park and the setting is quite beautiful with a creek running through it, many walking trails and lots of grass. The actual campground has a few sites with grassy areas, but many are separated only by a dirt/gravel space with a picnic table.
The campground is open from April 1 to November 1, which is important to know if you travel at other times of the year.
The road getting into the campground and the one getting out are both narrow and have a steep drop off on one side. Rather unsettling in the dark!
The pull-through space was not quite long enough for our 33' motorhome & toad. Only one other pull-through was being used, so it wasn't a big problem to be sticking out on one end.
Hosts are very helpful and friendly. The bathrooms consist of a vault toilet and nothing else. Very stinky.
We would definitely stay here again. - rfarkle
Oct 2016 - $15.00
Excellent little place to stay while exploring the area. It is down in a steep-walled river gorge so you are sheltered from the wind. Very clean and well-maintained. On the edge of town, so there are ample opportunities for shopping, supplies, etc. I will definitely stay here again if I ever pass through again. - Old Mountain Man
Oct 2016 - $15.00
As other reviewers have stated, truly a gem. Small city park, level sites, back-in and pull thrus. Water and electric, no sewer. Area coming into the park appears a bit 'iffy' but once you drive down the hill it's fine. There was one person in the park who appeared to be car-camping, but he was quiet, stayed to himself and didn't bother anyone. Very pretty stream, nice walking trails. - Katy29
May 2017 - $44.00
This campground is located a good distance from the interstate, but right on US93, and next to a lot for hay-hauling semis, making for a lot of road noise. The full-hookup pullthrough sites are back-to-back and VERY close together; with slides deployed, our neighbors one night were literally about 18" from us. That's just too close. Some very nice shade, and a friendly office staff help, along with a few small amenities like hot dog lunches on weekends and ice cream "happy hours" in the evening. Facilities were clean. Bathrooms this season are in portabath trailers, due to frozen pipes bursting & flooding the building bathrooms - those are under full reconstruction and will likely be very nice when done. The porta-jobs aren't too bad; each "room" has a toilet, tiny sink and good-sized shower with pushbutton water control. The electric-water sites seemed somewhat better (wider, and no back-to-back utilities) and had a building between them & the road, so it was a bit quieter back there. Due to the bathroom reconstruction, lots of workers' trucks on the premises during the day, making for more difficulty getting around while towing. OK for an overnight or for those visiting the area, but there are better base camps not terribly far away. - PokyRVer
May 2017 - $43.00
This park is under repair, and it needs it. Most of the park amenities are closed due to falling in disrepair. They had a water line freeze over the winter causing them to remodel the shower and bathroom facilities. They did bring in a temporary trailer while the construction is going on. The campground is smaller than it looks on a map. The staff does a pretty good job of getting you around and into your spot, but you may have to drive a few loops to get headed in the right direction. It is a flow/design problem more than anything. Our site had a patio with fire ring which was nice. The winds did pick up quite a bit at night so head the warnings and keep your awnings in. The putt-putt course course was un-usable and the pond is almost dry. The play ground was fine for our two girls, but could get full quickly. We only stayed one night so it was fine as a rest stop. We would stay here again. - bobstone
Mar 2017 - $43.00
Park was clean, staff very courteous. Wifi was non existent. Our sewer hookup was 4 feet from neighbours step. (#21) figured I'd get propane. Big mistake. $54.00 for 10 gallons. Outrageous. 30 lb Rv tank in Canada 20 can dollars. Pretty miffed but my fault for not asking. I'm used to not getting taken. Oh well. Will take alternate route next year and stay in Pocatello. Park fees too expensive for what u get. - Jeff C A
Jun 2017 - $38.00
As with others, this park is well taken care of. Grass area between sites, not large but sufficient. Sites are level, to a point. Yes the bathroom toilet area is cramped, but they are "CLEAN". They are in the process of adding approx. 30 some new pull thru sites. Shopping areas are about 7-8 miles away in Twin Falls. All services worked as they should. Traveling with 7 other rigs and no one complained about anything not working as they should. If in the area again would stay here a second time. Although they have a connection for cable TV, they do not have cable. Only 6 stations available via over the air. - dhansen871
Sep 2016 - $38.00
Not fancy but well kept. In a field just outside of town. Need toad to go get supplies in town. All pullthru sites. Good hookups. Very few trees. Easy in and out. Right on highway. Bathroom/showers were clean but seemed very claustrophobic. The stalls had plastic curtains instead of doors. Laundry 2washers/2dryers and very clean. I would stay here again. - camper19709
Sep 2016 - $49.00
A few full time residents. Pricey for a spot just off the highway. Bathroom is a tight space with knees against the door. - graybeard
May 2017 - $20.00
This was a great stop! We had read the reviews that this was basically an empty grassy parking lot, and I can tell you that is true, but it was just what we needed. It was affordable, pretty level spot, had a strong Verizon signal, was peaceful, nearly empty (had the whole place to ourselves), had beautiful sunrises and sunsets, was close to Twin Falls and amenities, and did I mention that we were pretty much the only people in the whole place??? And we liked the relaxed, no frills atmosphere. It was a nice change. If we ever go through here again, we will stop here. :) - catofmly
Nov 2016 - $15.00
This is truly a wonderful place to park if you like peace and quiet. When there is not an event at the fair grounds you almost have the place to yourself. On the busiest night there were 4 spaces out of 189 filled. They don't even assign you a space, just tell you to pick out anyone you like. I was a bit nervous about parking on the grass due to recent rains, but it is thick, heavy sod and barely even showed where we had been parked.
Most sites are FHU, a few just water and electric. The restroom/shower building is new, very private and totally spotless. Some even have frost proof faucets if you need a water connection in the colder months.
The staff are all delightful people who will help guide you to where you need to go. If there was a way to give bonus points this park truly deserves them. All this for only $15.90 per night with taxes added in. We will be back next Spring! - Okmunky
Oct 2015 - $15.00
Very nice county fairground park. Need to check for events. Level back-in sites. At least 25% of sites have sewer in addition to power and water. During low use times, folks just park lengthwise instead of backing in. Office is building just right of entrance to grounds signed by "Twin Falls County Fair". Staff is helpful. About seven miles to Twin Falls. - bilmo
Jun 2017 - $25.00
Just spent 3 nights at this park with kids and grandkids. Facilities OK as is the camping. Very disappointed with the management. Additional costs for additional vehicles and accommodations for tents not clearly delineated either in written form nor was it fully explained at check-in. Consequently, neither the manager nor the customer (us) were satisfied. We felt that the management was certainly more interested in being correct and collecting what he felt was "due" than the experience of the campers. The result was obtaining 2 sites in order to accommodate 2 tents.Would recommend anyone making plans to attend to be clear at time of reservations what the expectations for payment are and if there are any changes, check back to clarify additional charges. Otherwise, you will end up being disappointed. We will not be returning nor will we recommend to others. - Marilyn E
Aug 2016 - $20.00
Nice and shady campground a couple miles from US 93. It's a hidden oasis visited mostly by locals. The hot springs and pool were a wonderful way to relax during our two week vacation. We stayed two nights. Easy in and out. Water, electric, and sewer. Love this place. - camping kitty
Jun 2012 - $20.00
This is a very popular place. They pack the RV's and campers in very closely. We had to wait for about 6 tent campers to leave in order to get hooked up to our trailer and get pulled out. It's a miracle we were able to get backed in at all. Bring a long water hose, you might need it depending on where they put you. Kids seem to love the place, there were a number of locals here for the day either swimming or barbecueing. I will not stay here again but it's not my kind of place. If you enjoy swimming and don't mind crowds I would recommend it. - kkj303g
