We have stayed here many times in the past. Level gravel sites and ample grass & shade trees between all sites. Near the highway and occasional train noise. But neither have ever bothered us. Located at a Mobil gas station with Diesel and Propane. Service can be slow because of the Gas station, but they do try hard to process you quickly. No off-leash area for Coco, but good Pet Only walking area around perimeter of Park and a nice paved walking path along highway. Good Wi-Fi connectivity; nice variety of TV "Antenna" channels, including wife's favorite. "MeTV". We camped at Alpine Country Store & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tucked back off Highway 95, but easy in and easy out. RV Park is behind the gas station and mini mart. Fairly level sites, but tree branches hang down in some areas. The employees keep the park very clean, including emptying the trash on a daily basis. The train noise is loud and fairly frequent. The laundry room is small, but inexpensive and clean. We would stay here again. We camped at Alpine Country Store & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

The Hayden Lake area has lots to do. Great bicycling from the RV Park, through farmlands and country home neighborhoods. The Centennial Trail in Coeur d'Alene is wonderful - over 20 miles of designated bike path along Lake CDA and the Spokane River. The Farmers Market in Hayden is small, but interesting. The RV Park is an easy drive to Silverwood Theme Park.

Nicely shaded, quiet park. Convenience store, gas and coffee right at the entrance. Large spaces. Plenty of green space. Multiple pet areas. A bit north of town on I95 but quiet and convenient. Great overnight stop passing through. We camped at Alpine Country Store & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Excellent park, very clean. Grass is mowed, garbage is picked up each day. Extremely nice staff. Lots of shade and a place for our two small dogs to walk. We are here for 4 days. We have a 50-amp pull-through. We will definitely be back. There is also a nice store/station and coffee hut at the entrance. We camped at Alpine Country Store & RV Park in a Motorhome.

We only stayed here one night, on our way to Seattle. It was much better than we expected. The park is off the highway in a wooded area. Our site was very roomy and level. Nice quiet place to spend the night. We camped at Alpine Country Store & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a campground behind a convenience store/gas station. Register at the store. Must give a $10 deposit for the bathroom/shower/laundry key. Just off the highway so easy in and out. The place is nothing special. The laundry was a dismal with broken machines. In the evening the sprinklers came on right in front of the laundryroom door. Did not visit the bathrooms because I have my own. If passing through the area I would stay here again. We camped at Alpine Country Store & RV Park in a Motorhome.

The spots with full hook ups in the middle of the park are the best because they actually maintain the lawn over there. We got stuck in one of the letter identified spots, had weeds waist high all around and generally unkempt appearance. The built in grill was falling over and there is no fire ring. There is a picnic table but it has weeds all around it. The propane at the store out front is only 2.29 a gallon, so there's that. Generally speaking the campground is not very well maintained and is next to both a busy highway and a railroad with a RR crossing, so train horns all hours. Not impressed with this park. We camped at Alpine Country Store & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very nice RV park tucked behind a very busy store/gas station on Hwy 95 just north of Hayden. Check in at the service station was friendly and efficient. The park itself is very clean, well maintained, and pretty. Roads were very good, plenty wide with more than adequate turning space. Site was level, long and serviced by excellent utilities. Did not use laundry or bathrooms. While not a destination park it was an excellent place to spend a few days. Would certainly not hesitate to stay here again. We camped at Alpine Country Store & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We didn't use the showers or restrooms and the sewer hookup for our motorhome was too far away. But the dump station worked out just fine for our 2-night stay. The park is in a lovely setting and the sites were level gravel and good trees for shade. My rating would be higher had the WiFi worked as advertised. It was non-existent throughout our stay, but my Verizon Jetpack worked well. We camped at Alpine Country Store & RV Park in a Motorhome.

This was a great find. Park is small, shady, very quiet with many pool throughs. Run by staff in a gas station/store off highway 95. They were very friendly & helpful. WiFi, but hard to connect. Cell service good & used my hotspot. Would definitely recommend. We camped at Alpine Country Store & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very clean park, the lady at the store that checked us in was very courteous and helpful. We had a little light show of thunder and lightning and that was the only noise there!! Will be back next year! We camped at Alpine Country Store & RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a nice tree filled RV park. Feels more like you're in a campground then an RV park. There are several pull through sites that are gravel, tho wide and long. We were in #2 and were under several trees (none bothering the slides) and had plenty of room for our 38' 5'er and F350 to park. The grass side lots are wide and green. But do be on the lookout for underground sprinklers, they do come on. Plenty of dog walking space, but no fenced dog run, which is fine for our old pooch. There are showers and bathrooms, which were clean but basic. There is a laundry, but only one washer and one dryer. Looked like they've been there for a long time, and getting them to work was spotty. The downside to this park is the noise. The RV park is nestled off I-90 amongst trees like mentioned, but the entrance is right behind a Mobile gas station//store which is used FREQUENTLY all day and all night. There are lots of cars, trucks, delivery trucks et al getting gas or groceries (which the store is convenient for the RV'ers). If you love jake brake noise, then you'll love it here. And there's train noise too - during the day and in the wee early hours. The staff while friendly appear like the RV park is more of an 2nd income to them and the store is bigger business. Helpful but not real knowledgeable of things in the park (for example when the washer didn't work, they had to wait until the owner came in the next day. And asking about the irrigation system when it came on -- they didn't know). There is WiFi but you have to ask for the password, but it's not that they won't give it to you, they just don't offer it up as they're waiting on customers in the store. But don't count on it for much - shuts off quite frequently. All in all we would stay here again if in the area. Although for this recently retired couple, coming to see Coeur d'Alene in the summer is a not-going-to-happen-again kind of trip. We'll pick another season. There are way too many people in CDA, the lake is packed with young kids (reminded us of "spring break" in the south). If you like that kind of scene then you'll love it here. For us it was just too many kids/people. We camped at Alpine Country Store & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

DON'T give them a credit card over the phone!!! They have TERRIBLE record keeping! I cancelled my reservation 2 weeks before I left on my trip and when I got home, realized they had charged me anyway. When I called to talk to the manager about the problem, I was basically told too bad because I couldn't give a name of the man who cancelled my reservation. I would not recommend this place even as a last resort! We camped at Alpine Country Store & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Park was clean, quiet, sites were level and gravel, water pressure good, hookups were in good locations and easy to reach. Earlier reviews were negative toward management..our experience was positive in this area...polite, helpful, explained amenities completely, price to value is great..$26.95 Good Sam rate is a WAY better deal than Blackwell Island at $50+ per night...Park was well shaded (satellite may be affected). WiFi was weak but worked. Restroom use required a cash deposit for key (didn't need to use). There was an occasional train, but wasn't overwhelmingly noisy from this...traffic noise, the same. Silverwood and shopping are just minutes away...will definitely stay here again... We camped at Alpine Country Store & RV Park in a Motorhome.
