This is a beautiful little park right along the Snake River. Flat level pull-through spaces. We camped at Heyburn Riverside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Wonderful City RV park. Has pull thru sites, head in sites, and back in sites. Super spacious with extra in site parking for tow vehicle or toad. Nice grass area, bbq, and picnic table. Rooftop satellite friendly. Plenty of room to open slides. Great water pressure. Make sure you have a regulator before you hook up water here. Our neighbors hose burst. 50amp worked flawlessly. Little bit of road noise, and a tad bit of train noise during the day, but super quiet at night. Walk to the river. Some sites had asphalt. Ours was a combo of dirt and rock. Fairly level sites too! Easy navigation for big rigs. We will definitely return! We camped at Heyburn Riverside RV Park in a Motorhome.

This a well maintained campground with helpful hosts at check in. Interior roads are paved and big rig access was good. Our site was spacious, with plenty of space for our towed, picnic table and fire ring. Our level pull through pad was also paved and there was grass between each site. The bathrooms were dated but clean, there was no laundry. Wifi and AT&T were good. Plenty of food stores, restaurants and sightseeing close by. We would stay here again, it's perfect for an overnight stay. We camped at Heyburn Riverside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Wow! What a gem of an RV park and for $26! It is a city owned park which may account for the low rate. It is extremely well kept with large areas of green grass between sites and lots of space between sites! Full hookups (50 amps) and very large sites. Such a welcome surprise. Would make a point to stay here when through this area of Idaho. We camped at Heyburn Riverside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Access is easy into the park and the host is friendly and helpful, even escorting to the site. There is a mix of pull-thru and back-in sites but there is more than enough room for tow or toad to park. There are concrete patios with picnic tables and some pedestal grills. This is a good base for tours of the City of Rocks and Golden Spike Historic sites. As indicated in other reviews, the sewers are higher than most dump systems on RVs but it works. No cable TV and practically nothing antenna in this area. The walking trails along the Snake River are well done and there is a boat dock just below the RV park, launch on the other side of the river in Burley. The city does a good job of maintaining the park and RV park. We have stayed here in the past and will return when in the area. We camped at Heyburn Riverside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Attracted by high scores, we reserved a site for 2 nights. We were greeted by the camp host who gave us clear instructions as to our site and how to pay with the envelope she handed us (complete form, insert money and drop into payment box). The park appears to be well maintained and very close to a lovely walking/biking path along the Snake River. The only negative, and tonight it's a strong one, was when the wind blows from the west, there is a very unpleasant sewer odor from the treatment plant. The sites are gravel with a concrete patio and picnic table. Sewer drains are 8 or 10" above the ground level so even with the normal props, the drain must function somewhat uphill. The drive is wide enough for the motorhome and a towed vehicle to park next to it without interferring with the slides. There are green grassy strips between sites and some trees, mostly small. There are many attractions within driving distance such as Shoshone Falls in Twin Falls. We camped at Heyburn Riverside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We had lunch at the very big and busy El Caporal in Burley (1.6 miles away). Hubby had a combo plate and I had the Arroz Con Pollo and both thought they were excellent. Service was excellent too despite being a very busy place. Try the restaurants rated highly by Trip Advisor. The ones that we tried deserve the high scores.

This RV park is nicely set up and has a solid infrastructure system. There is 50 amp pull through sites with water and sewer but no cable. The Wifi is over taxed as you will find with most RV parks these days. The bathrooms and showers have been around for a while, but are well maintained. There is easy river access at the end of the park and an area to take your dogs to stretch their legs, though there is no fenced in dog yard. This RV park did not have any Breed restrictions so bringing our pack of pit bull mixes was not a problem for us. We camped at Heyburn Riverside RV Park in a Motorhome.

After staying in dozens of "RV Parks" over the last three months, this park is clearly the best of all of them by a long shot. While there isn't really a bad site in the whole park, some are certainly better than others, and ours, as our friendly host told us, was the best one in the park, and he was right. The park is essentially surrounded by green, well-manicured park grounds with a huge grassy picnic area between the sites and the magnificent Snake River that provides cool, late evening breezes to cool off the day's extreme heat. Adjacent to the park is a trail that leads through the most amazing arboretum with its collection of trees from around the country and the world, all very well-kept. The park's wi fi signal was unusually strong, perfect for Google map loading. After weeks of often-disappointing over-night sites, this one takes the crown. We camped at Heyburn Riverside RV Park in a Truck Camper.

What a gem! This park is well laid out and easy to find. The park host was extremely available (something that is all too often missing from parks) and was helpful. We have a big rig and were nervous that it wasn't really big rig friendly but no problems. The layout of each pull through is so that you park your tow vehicle behind and to the right of your rig. This allows you to enjoy the patio area without navigating around your car. Very well-designed! The sites are extremely large and private. You are right next to the park for biking and such (park has a paved path). Even better, you are very close to civilization with Walmart, a mall and tons of places to eat less than 2 miles away - but you'd never know it because the park is very quiet. While there isn't an enclosed dog park, the dog area they created is full of plush, nice grass for doggy paws. The entire park is well-maintained. The sites are gravel but a very well-polished gravel and the sites have lots of grass for you to enjoy. We camped at Heyburn Riverside RV Park in a Motorhome.

We love this park. Have stayed here 2x. Very clean! On the river with a beautiful walking trail along the river and an Auboretom park along the walking/ bike trail. Close to grocery shopping. Very well kept park. Also has separate paring spot on the side of your space for cars. We camped at Heyburn Riverside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Community owned park. Situated next to a park and a slow moving river. Sites are well maintained - but - are not waterfront in any way shape or form. This park is a good location to overnight or spend a few days exploring the area. Sites are full hookup - but have a longer sewer hose due to where the hookup is. There are a mix of pull-thru and backin sites. We camped at Heyburn Riverside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Reservations don't help here. Oct 1 to April next year there is no camp host. There are pull through and back in sites and all have curbs and patios to deal with. Not a big problem if you know what you are doing. Full hook ups easy to access. Sites are mostly level with parking for the tow vehicle or toad. HDTV is limited. Wi-Fi is iffy at best. Beautiful city park with hiking and biking trails on the Snake River. We have stayed here before and like the surroundings and ease of access to amenities in Burley, just across the river. We will return when in the area. We camped at Heyburn Riverside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice setting. A bit off the grid as it didn't show up on either my Garmin or my Rand McNally GPS. This was a problem because the address listed on rvparkreviews is incorrect and doesn't exist. (The correct address is: 1175 7th St, Heyburn, ID 83336; take exit 211 of I84 the south 2 miles). Noticed this park last time though. Called ahead to reserve a spot. The host took my name and number - when I got there, the host was absent, and there was no indication of a reservation. Luckily there was a spot open that I could fit in. I think this mostly functions as a first come-first-serve sort of park with self service check-in and payment envelopes. Nice paved trail along the Snake River next to the park, large grassy areas. Spots have curbing which makes pulling a big rig into some of the places a little tricky but not bad. I would stay here again but since reservations are unreliable, I would have a "plan B." We camped at Heyburn Riverside RV Park in a Motorhome.
