Pull through sites on grass (so no carpets, etc.); FHU with good electric but the water had a sulfur smell and taste. Right on the Snake River so you can fish and sit by the river. Had a boat ramp to get into the river. No playground, no rec hall, no pool. Had mobile homes on property. Hiking trail next door around the corn field so I was able to let the dogs loose there. We camped at Snake River RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

A nice campground that is situated right behind a factory and is very well maintained. All the lots are grass and plenty of trees. Yes, there are a lot of bugs but the shade was nice. The river contains mainly catfish as it's very slow moving. There is only one stall and shower in each of the gender bathroom and kept very clean. Laundry has two washers and two dryers. Cost to wash is $1 and 75 cents to dry. There is a small farmer's market on Thursday from 3:30 - 7:30 pm. Wifi was decent and our T-Mobile cell phones had good reception. We camped at Snake River RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The access road going into the park was full of potholes when we arrived. The manager has since graded the road. When you arrive at the "Office", you may be tempted to turn tail and leave because the the appearance is of a mobile home park with lots of full time RV trailers. Once you wind your way through the rather narrow (and potted) interior roads, the river front sites deserve a 10 star. Huge areas of beautiful green grass for walking your pooches. We were in site 41 which is a long way from the single WiFi access point located in the laundry room. On Saturday and Sunday when the park was full to over flowing, the wifi was slow to useless. Better on Monday but you'll still need an amplifier/bridge to reach the AP. I peeked in the laundry room and found two washers and dryers of the standard coin op type. Didn't use the showers. Utilities worked well and there was more than adequate space between you and your neighbor. I carry boards to place under my jacks so parking on grass wasn't an issue for me. Other times we've stayed at an RV park in Caldwell but I'll stay here if in the area and if they have a space. I'd guess spaces are at a premium during the RV season. We camped at Snake River RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Large grassy sites, yes, park on the nice green grass. Mature trees for shade. My site was not level but worked for one night. Looked like it took a lot to level most sites. A nice view of the river. I would stay again. We camped at Snake River RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Very nice grassy park right on the river. Clean and well maintained. Self-check in so no rating for service. The mill next to the park made minimal noise- not an issue. We camped at Snake River RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Great place to stay for a weekend, but the industry that a abuts the park runs until 3am during the week and the constant droning of the machinery and beep beep of the forklifts drove me crazy. The constant lawn mowing, sprinklers running and leaf blowers only added to the discomfort. As I said, a great place for a weekend but to be tolerated during the week. And I have not mentioned the gnats that even closed doors and windows can not keep out. We are still getting rid of the Japanese bean beetle ( looks like orange lady bugs) infestation. It's set up great for groups to get together, just know what you will be experiencing. We camped at Snake River RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed in this park for a month. The caretaker was very friendly & kind. He keeps the grounds immaculate & clean & you feel like you are living in a park. He watches out for you & helps out in every way you need it. Everything is very clean & the permanent campers are friendly & nice. We definitely will becoming back!

This place is pet friendly too! Wifi was a plus. We camped at Snake River RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

There's a restaurant right next to the bowling alley in Homedale that has great food. Moxie Java has homemade bakery items & if you go in some shopping inside. The people of Homedale were very friendly. We loved the country setting away from the busy city.

We stayed here June through August. Off the beaten path but a jewel. It is not close to town but if you are looking for a peaceful place to rest and enjoy nature this is it. Yes you park on the grass, and yes there are bugs, but you ARE right on the river. The sites are very spacious; you can't beat the place for peaceful enjoyment. The manager and staff work hard to keep it pristine. They are attentive and very helpful. They do fog to control the bugs on a regular basis. I commented to an employee the bugs were still around after they had recently sprayed and within 15 minutes the manager was at my site fogging again. The hiking trail on the East side of the park is perfect for an early morning run with the dog, and they are allowed to run free on the trail! We had several large family gatherings at our site this summer and everyone loved it. Great place to relax and enjoy nature! If you want a parking lot in town, go elswhere. We camped at Snake River RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The Low Down: Small RV park with permanent residents on the Snake River in a little burg south/east of Boise. Good for a 1 night stopover. Totally grass, everywhere, you park on the grass, which sounds great, but it's very, very soft and hard to level the RV. Park is a little green oasis in the middle of a industrial area. Towns nearby are tiny, poor farming towns. The bathrooms/showers are nice and clean. People were fishing off the small dock on the river and catching catfish. Lots of bugs, couldn't read inside the coach at night due to so many tiny bugs that got through the screens.

Mojo Factor: Didn't feel a thing at this RV park, permanent residents keep to themselves, others are there mostly for 1 night.

The Dogs Opinion (it's all about the dogs): Basically not a dog friendly park at all. There are signs about every 20 feet to leash and pick up after your dog. The park is small so there is no place to really exercise your dog. There are acres of grass, would be easy for this park owner to fence in a spot for the dogs. The grass is PERFECT, which means they use regular herbicides.

What's nearby? I didn't leave the park

TV? Got several channels including all three networks

Cell phone/Wi-Fi? Good Verizon

Parting thoughts: Would look for a better park for the dogs next time coming through here. This is not a dog friendly park. We camped at Snake River RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We are a DOG FRIENDLY Park! All we ask is to follow a few simple rules. With 5 acres of grass there is plenty of room to exercise your pets. We try hard to please but not everybody gets a warm fuzzy.

A bit off the beaten path, but that's a good thing in this case. The park is very well maintained with beautiful green and neatly mowed grass. 30 amp and 50 amp hookups available and all spaces have water and sewer. The park has a small but very clean restroom and shower for guests (no extra charge).

The frontage on the Snake River is a major plus, especially if you'd like to do some fishing for catfish. Very peaceful setting with nice views of the river. We camped at Snake River RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Had a spot facing the River. Lots of grass, open in front of coach, pull in front first. Have a boat dock plus swimming/beach area. Nice little bike park for children. Good dog area. Great, peaceful place to stay that's close to town. Marina very close by with a nice resturant, walking distance. Book way in advance!!! We camped at Snake River RV Resort in a Motorhome.

The shower curtains were too long and black at the bottom. Some sort of electrical box right by us that made a very loud buzzing noise in the middle of the night. Site tables were about ready to fall apart and splintery. Most expensive and worst kept park we've stayed in (7 so far). We camped at Snake River RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This park is a very neat and clean park and the price is a good value, the landscaping effort is impeccable, the only downside is that all of the sites are grass, so if you have a big rig you will need to put plates under your jacks to keep from sinking, the park is right on the Snake River so there is good fishing.
