The first impression of this park isn't very good but once you are there it is better than it looks at first. The sights are kind of close but they are level and clean. The employees are friendly and helpful and we would stay there again when we are in the area. We camped at Snake River RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed one night. We did not want to disconnect, they stated that they could accommodate that request but we would need to back in the spot. Which was Ok with us. We arrived and they have moved a smaller rig into the back in spot, and we got a pull in site!!! Sites were small and close, but ok. Great pet area!! The RV park is located off the road and not well marked. We camped at Snake River RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Do Not recommend going to the bar and grill, that is within walking distance of the RV park, for dinner. Smokey and loud!!! And the food is awful.

Older park with very close sites. Odd setup in the area we stayed rigs pull in so your doors face each other and share a common area. Great little store and friendly help. It appears they are working on this park as it was an old KOA at some point. Location is close to shopping and downtown. Would stay again if passing thru. We camped at Snake River RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed here one night. This seems like a nice place. The playground was great for the kids. The gift shop is very nice. Close to the freeway. Easy to get in and out. Nice big pull through site. Staff was friendly and it was very clean. We were very happy with this park and we will stay again next time we pass through. We camped at Snake River RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

My husband and I are musicians who live in Wyoming and play several times a year in Idaho Falls. We recently acquired a short bus to travel to gigs in. Snake River was our first experience with an RV park, and it was a good one. The registration desk doubles as a really cute gift shop. The lady who checked us in was very friendly and efficient. We only needed electricity, so we were placed in a spot right next to the bath house. I particularly liked that the bath house was open 24/7, which we appreciated since we would be coming and going late at night. Both of us used the showers and found them to be extremely clean, as with the rest of the grounds. We saw maintenance staff buzzing around the complex fairly frequently. The park does have a pool and hot tub, but these were not open due to the time of year and nighttime temperatures remaining fairly cold. Inconveniences endured were relatively minor, as other posters have noted, the wi-fi can be somewhat persnickety. After talking with the office lady, we solved this problem by launching a troubleshooter (right clicking on the wi-fi icon should do the trick). After that, it was smooth sailing, which is good because in the future I may rely on it to work from the road. Another issue was the hot water in the shower took a really LONG time to fire up. My husband actually girded himself up to take a cold shower, but once the it came online, it got nice and hot and lasted as long as I needed it to. Good thing, because I enjoy long showers! We stayed a total of 3 days and our experience at Snake River RV Park was a pleasant one. We would definitely consider staying here again. We camped at Snake River RV Park & Campground in a Truck Camper.

Old park but very nice staff checking in. Fun pancake feed in the morning. Very conveniant on/off freeway with truck Sinclare feul station close by. Pull thru just long enough for a 45' with tow. We camped at Snake River RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

To begin with, we were given site C-1 which is directly next to the pool, perhaps the worst spot in the park. The price is $43 per night, less 10% for Good Sam, plus 13% for sales and "hotel" tax. Net result is you're paying $43.73 per night. The park has gravel/dirt driveways, gravel/dirt pads surrounded by mostly dirt/mud. The staff service is very good, laundry is good and daily pancake breakfast ($2.50 PP) is fun. However, I can only give this an average rating in light of the price. Perhaps the convenient location will make this OK for some, it is close to I-15 and Highway 20, as well as Walmart. We camped at Snake River RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for 4 nights while in town for business. It is a very busy campground right off a highway. The traffic sounds were quite loud. The sites were pretty narrow and just long enough to park our tow behind car behind the RV. The staff was friendly. It was okay, but if I had another choice I would stay elsewhere next time. WIFI was marginal. We camped at Snake River RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Park is very close to I.S. 15, so is fairly noisy. Located in industrial area. Close to the greenbelt. Sites are level and gravel...probably muddy after a rain. Has small off leash dog area. Mostly overniters passing through. Definitely an "ok" for short-term, but a little pricey for what you get. We camped at Snake River RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very popular park. Suggest making reservation. As mentioned before, sites are somewhat unlevel. Saw some rigs with their front or rear wheels off of the ground depending on which way they were facing.

Really think $2 a night for a dog is a little ridiculous. Not sure what this charge is for. The clean up bags at the dog park can't cost that much.

Laundry was clean and reasonable. $1.25 to wash, $1.50 for 55 min drying. There are 2 laundry facilities. One by the office with 6 washers and dryers. However, there is no place to park, if you are carrying a large load. The facility near the rear of the park has two 2 washers and dryers.

Obviously the 5 1/2 MPH does not apply to the the employees. Observed all of them doing at least 15 MPH on their little carts, even the person guiding people to their sites. Bad example. We camped at Snake River RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Numerous restaurants within 2 miles. Parks has all you can eat pancake breakfast for $2.50, sausage $1 more and free coffee.

We stayed over the holiday weekend so we only received the Good Sam discount for the Sunday night. This is a former KOA Campground. The sites were small, and the road was fairly narrow. The pool was very crowded and we were right next to the pool. Not the best spot as kids felt they needed to walk through our site to get to the pool! The dog park was decent in size, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Although the owner did tell me they had "packed in like sardines" for the holiday weekend. We camped at Snake River RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a minor league baseball team that plays close by. This was fun to do.

Very clean park and quite convenient, for touring the Idaho and Wyoming areas, we used it as a base of operations to visit The Tetons, and found it a easy drive there and back. The park has good surface roads, they are plenty wide enough for a big rig, the sites are nice and long, they also have some small cabins for a non rv'er and a very nice swimming pool and playground for the kiddy's. We camped at Snake River RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Hit Jackson hole and the Tetons; it is a wonderful drive.

Our site was the first one located just behind the very large propane gas tank right in the middle of the parking lot. Our picnic table was literally on the parking lot pavement just across from the tank. We asked to be moved and was told there was nothing wrong with that space. This space should have never been designated as a campsite. In addition there was horrific noise being done in the middle of the night from the highway. We would not stay here again. We camped at Snake River RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Was able to get into this wonderful RV Park for the Fourth of July festival. So very glad I met the owners and one of the managers that became good friends, will never forget these beautiful people, love traveling in the motorhome. The restrooms were clean, but dated. The washing machines did a great job cleaning. We camped at Snake River RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Make sure to visit for the 4th of July fireworks.

Arrived at 1130 AM and previous guest had already checked out so we were able to get our spot. Had a pull-through site which was relatively flat. Only used a small block to bring one side up. We could of left alone but the wife is very sensitive to slope.

Full hookup site and all were fully functional with no issues.

Bathrooms were a bit dated but relatively clean.

Overall it is a decent place if you need a place to stop near the interstate. Yes you can hear freeway traffic but since I come from a metropolitan area it didn't bother me.

Park is a little dated but than again most are. Spots are tight if you have a big rig. Luckily I can whip our little 18' trailer around with ease so navigating side was a breeze.

Mad dash during checkout time. Don't dawdle around. They do come out daily to make sure people are vacating their sites. I don't mind this but just be prepared. This is not a leisurely exit. Entrance and exit is fairly tight. They have a dump station but it's in an odd position as an island near the entrance/exit. Lots of people and activity. Dirt interior roads.

Would we be back? Sure if needed to stop in this area. However I would rather be in a state/national park type setting. We have kids so those work better for us. We camped at Snake River RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.
