We stayed just one night. Registration staff were very friendly. Staff were knowledgeable and could share an abundance of area information. Office was well stocked with souvenir as well as camper accessories. Campers pulled into pad site from opposing sides (your entry door faced your neighbors entry door). Sites were close. Individual picnic tables, but shared fire pit. It was an acceptable arrangement, but not for long term stay. We camped at Snake River RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Not many campgrounds to choose from in Idaho Falls, so we picked the best one around, according the reviews.

The park is situated in the industrial part of town, next to highway 20, interstate 15, railway and airport. But amazingly, the noise was not that bad. The wind direction was obviously favorable during our stay.

Very friendly and helpful staff.

Sites are narrow and the back-in sites are 'paired' and have a common electrical connection pole and water connection in the middle of the two back-in sites. So one of the two must connect via underneath the RV.

Swimming pool was clean and pleasantly warm.

Wi-Fi was slow and unreliable, with the excuse of the owner that the campground was fully occupied. Dear owner(s), if you provide Wi-Fi, provide it for everybody staying in your campground, whatever season. There are many ways to prevent people streaming movies.

Good campground for overnight stay. We camped at Snake River RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

A nice park, with plenty of extras. Breakfast (all-you-can-eat pancakes) every morning. Most sites have shade, and are spacious. Interior roads are gravel, as are sites, but most are level. Park is close to town and Hwy 20. WiFi is good. We camped at Snake River RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

The park has narrow roads and the sites appear to be very close together. The swimming pool was immaculate and a welcome sight after a long day of driving. We camped at Snake River RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Idaho Falls is the largest town in a big area, so there are loads of parks, museums, shopping opportunities, golf courses and restaurants to choose from. We can recommend Jakers' Restaurant for a terrific meal.

The Tautphaus Park Zoo is an affordable outing for families.

There's a Camping World conveniently located at Exit 118 off of I-15

We stayed here while visiting friends in the area and it was very convenient. We enjoyed the trail along the river, although you could not access it from the campground. Staff very friendly and helpful. Pancake breakfast in morning for $3.00. Sites were close. Some trees and those on our site blocked satellite reception. No cable. Pool and hot tub nice. The location of the dump was a problem. In the morning there was a line-up that blocked others from leaving. However everyone was pleasant and cooperative and worked it out. We camped at Snake River RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

This is an older park with lots and lots of trees and like someone else mentioned, if you have a dish, for the most part you are out of luck! Overall it's satisfactory but it is overpriced for the age and park condition but since they are the only game in town I guess they can charge what ever the market will bear. We camped at Snake River RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

This park is probably one of the main stop overs going to or coming from Yellowstone and that is what makes it so popular. Book early it is full most of the time!

We stayed here for two nights. Staff is nice. We had 50 amp site on gravel, with grass area in between sites. Some sites are grass, and there is paved roads to the sites. Sites are close, but park was quiet when we stayed. Some permanent residence, but they are clean. Mostly traveling campers. Adequate wifi. Didn't use the laundry, but they had several to use. The pool was nice, but the hot tub was broken. The "all you can eat" pancake breakfast was a hit with my teenage boys, and the "college girls" made huge pancakes! Showers need some updating. They are old and dirty, but suited our stay. The Snake River has lots of water activities close by, would definitely recommend! We camped at Snake River RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Office staff very nice and not the reason for the "terrible" service rating. Issue was they hosted a beer fest (an annual event?) and, apparently, did not provide any security. Office closed at 8PM and no one enforced quiet time and no one checked for unregistered campers. The site next to us had at least 10+ people in and out all the time. AT 1145PM they had a roaring fire and loud partying. No security. Finally found a number for someone affiliated with the park at 1145. Took 3 calls to this unknown person to get the party shut down.

There are many sites where the rig doors face each other forcing you to share "your" outside space with the other rig. Fine if you are buddies but not if you have 10+ drunks using "your" table etc. We camped at Snake River RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

This is an older park, and every single one of the big rig sites has a tree strategically positioned to block the satellite reception. There were 5 or 6 OTA channels, but since we were there during the Stanley Cup finals, this had the potential to become a crisis of epic proportions!

The good news is that they are less than 1 mile from a very nice bike trail and Idaho Falls is a nice little town.
The folks were friendly and helpful. RV park is older, and kinda tired looking, and is pretty expensive. But they are the only show in town and they were busy, busy, busy every night! We camped at Snake River RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

From the minute I walked in the door the people at the front desk started telling me what I could and couldn't do and that if I decided not to stay all three days I wasn't going to get my money back. Aside from that the park was okay. It's an older park with full-time residents. We had 50 amp pull-through spot and it was pretty tight and hard to maneuver around and into it. The free Wi-Fi was real spotty and slow. The dog run was infested with mosquitoes. We camped at Snake River RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Very friendly reception. Older park with side by side pull through sites, back-ins with some of them water and electric only, very tight for larger rigs. Gravel sites. Clean; green with lots of trees - also a challenge for larger rigs to maneuver and get satellite. No cable, but good air reception. All you can eat pancake breakfast for $3. Free WIFI that was fast and reliable for our visit. Overall the park could use some updating, and price seems high but overall a good place to stay. We camped at Snake River RV Park & Campground in a Truck Camper.

We stayed here for just one night. Pull through sites are tight with back-to-back hook-ups which meant that we shared a 6' wide strip of grass with the unit next to us. So we pretty much just stayed in our unit. The park is very convenient to the main part of town. We camped at Snake River RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

The first impression of this park isn't very good but once you are there it is better than it looks at first. The sights are kind of close but they are level and clean. My family and I stayed here in May. It was a quick stop. Didn't explore too much. Although there were nice bike trials not too far. Place seemed nice enough for a day or two. Kids found shade during the day. Night time was a little noisy due to the neighbors up late. However, we were able to sleep just fine. Hook ups for power and sewer worked fine. Staff was nice enough. Good place to go for a short stop. We camped at Snake River RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed 1 night passing through the area waiting out a storm. The park has the appearance of a former KOA.

The park is a short drive from I-15 (Exit 119: HWY 20) along some busy 2 lane city streets.

The sites are a mixture of pull-throughs and back-ins. There are a few sites that appear to be extended stay sites. There was some trees encroachment on some of the sites and portion of the road. This park understands the simple concept of the importance of a flat, level site, as the sites were level and flat. Distance and grassy areas establish privacy between the sites but there wasn't much as the sites are on top of each other.

There are trees scattered around the park so satellite reception would be dependent upon site assignment and your dish configuration. The park brochure showed 5 broadcast channels but made no mention of cable channels. Didn't try to get any broadcast channels.

The park provided WiFi was good. Our Verizon WiFi hotspot worked well. Didn't try the NET10 phone so don't know about cell phone reception.

The designated fenced pet area was at the back of the park. There were bag dispensers and collection stations for waste around the park. There was sufficient area to walk dogs along the park's roads and grassy areas on the park's perimeter.

We would not stay here again if traveling through the area. There was another park we discovered while in the area that we would select in the future. We camped at Snake River RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.
