Apr 2017 - $42.00
Pretty basic older park. Very convenient to Idaho Falls. Fairly easy to maneuver the coach through the park. Wifi was not good. Satellite hooked up no problem....Verizon signal strong. - SHIPM8
Mar 2017 - $35.00
We stay here once year, on our trek down South. The staff is very friendly & helpful. The gift shop is the best we've seen. Clean bathrooms & showers, the gravel pads are level. Dog friendly to boot. - Dksnapshots
Sep 2016 - $45.00
Staff was extra-friendly and helpful. RV Tech on staff, he had an autistic helper who was a very pleasant and helpful young man.
Interior road has a very tight turn at entryway with large boulders on each side - once by that it's ok. Have long-term residents on A loop who leave their cars in awkward locations. - daviputnam
Oct 2016 - $32.00
We stayed at Sunnyside Acres for a month. The monthly rate was $360 including taxes and electric. Best rate I have ever had. This is a mobile home / RV park. The mobile home area was a little rough, but the RV park was well kept with grass areas between sites. The sites were not large, but the staggered layout made them feel larger then they were. The RV park was kept neat and clean, even the long term sites. The lades in the office were extremely friendly and helpful. The sites closest to the road could be difficult to exit from due to a wall that kept the road nose down. We enjoyed our stay and would come back again. - Pastor Bob
Oct 2016 - $18.00
This is a fairly clean park, though I found trash at my site. It's quiet, even on weekends. Sites are narrow, non-level, unshaded asphalt in very good condition. Each site has a picnic table and a fire ring with a grill. Voltage is good. Sewer connections are unthreaded. Roads are asphalt in very good condition. Verizon LTE works well.
Terrestrial broadcast TV: ABC CBS CW PBS.
Showers are private and accessible (roll-in). However, I found quite a few dead worms on the floor, the shower rooms are unheated, the water was never warm enough for me, there are no shower curtains, and it's impossible to adjust the shower head angle. - wjzcbn
Sep 2016 - $18.00
We are new to rving. This campground is hands down the best place we have stayed in. We have paid more money for primitive campgrounds in Utah. We will be going back to Juniper in the future. - Diecast
Sep 2016 - $16.00
Perfect park for overnight stay; quiet, spacious, green grass, paved level sites, trees, views of the lake, showers, full hookups, all for $16 night!! If you're in E Idaho on the way to/from Yellowstone, or heading east to Jackson/Teton Natl Park, this is a hidden gem. - GDF
Oct 2014 - $10.00
Just a parking lot with an electric outlet at the curb. No space between sites. Less than desirable. - jergrimes
Jul 2012 - $10.00
Clean, level, paved sites, plenty of room for big RVs and solid 30/50-amp electric service. Truck noise is to be expected in a truck-stop, but $10 a night has to be the best bargain around for 50-amp electric during the hot summer months. There is free, but somewhat weak, Wi-Fi in the campsites, although it's stronger in the restaurant. Our only issue was having to get out our 50-amp extension cord to reach the far-back pedestals, which are on the wrong side too. We would stop here again when passing through or visiting someone in the area. - bcbounders
Sep 2011 - $33.00
Need to modernize the shower area. Probably would not stay here again. - jjs
Jun 2010 - $20.00
We stayed in this campground because it was the closest park to where we were to meet family. The Army Surplus Store was indeed a plus to this park otherwise it wasn't a recommendable park. We were charged several dollars more than what we were quoted when we made our reservation. We were told our site had a sewer access and it did not. We were told the park had Wi-Fi, it did not. The sites were so close together we weren't sure we would be able to swing out of the row. I wouldn't say it was big rig friendly although there were a couple of larger sites. We had to dodge the dog waste as permanent residents walked their dogs around the empty sites and didn't clean up after them. It had rained so that aspect of our stay was quite disgusting. The permanent rigs were very old and very run down as well as the park property was unkempt. The manager was not here when we arrived; in fact we made several attempts to pay our bill in the office, and the door was locked. Close to I-15, the noise surprisingly was minimal. We stopped at the office on our way out to pay and even though I mentioned that we didn't have a full service site, our total was more than what we were quoted for full hook ups. It did appear that they were remodeling the office area. We do not recommend this park for anymore than one night, and will not stay here again. - rvmamaw
Jun 2009 - $19.00
This place was spooky to us. Junky looking, really dilapidated run down permanent "rigs" (some will never move again). We would have left except we were meeting friends. We were given a supposed 50 amp site but it was only 30 amp, don't even know if they have 50 amps. The manager knew nothing about RV's and very, very little about his small park. Would not stay here again. - ragface
Jun 2009 - $20.00
We chose this park because it is close to the Military Store. The campground was clean - close to the hwy. We had a nice stay. - rvgal
Jul 2016 - $15.00
The campground is around a small lake and most sites have concrete pads with water and elec. but no sewer or dump. We have stayed at BLM & NF campgrounds for over 30 years and this campground has the worst pit toilets we have ever seen. The showers are outside for the beach area and not for taking a bath. - glbaker44
Sep 2015 - $15.00
Very nice county park. Easy in and out. Very nice setting next to small lake. Concrete pads with picnic tables and full hookups. Will return again when in the area. - Diplomat 07
Jun 2014 - $15.00
Nice park with friendly staff. Very close to the freeway but we heard no road noise. Nice lake and grounds. There is no dump available at the park but there is one at Bob's Quick Stop very near the park. - hbcamper
Aug 2015 - $35.00
We stayed here primarily because of the Wild West Shootout and Dinner Theater!
Although a bit off the beaten path, keep your eyes open for roadside signs.
Campground was in excellent condition.
(Note: no sewer hookups.)
The owner and manager always found to be friendly and providing useful suggestions.
Highly recommend the Dinner Theater. We enjoyed it so much, we decided to bring our family next year! - 2007Seabreeze
Jul 2014 - $35.00
My wife and I have been here several days, and we don't want to leave (although we must). We love the beauty and the peace and quiet here. If the staff were any friendlier, I'd adopt them - especially the camp hosts, imported from Britain. The sites are roomy, and most have grass, water, and electricity - (there is a sewer dump station). The park is very near the South Fork of the Snake River. Facilities are clean and very well-maintained. Lots of places to walk the dogs. - StevieB1
Aug 2013 - $32.00
Well, where to start. First of all this RV park is located in the “boondocks” and not close to civilization. I found it rather hard to find. The next morning when I left, I got lost and had to call OnStar to guide me to the highway. Once there I found it confusing trying to determine where the office was located. No one was at the office, so I looked around and saw a trailer that said “manager” or some such equivalent. The camp hosts were very pleasant folks. I was led to my campsite which was quite a distance from the office. Once I got set up I tried to use the WiFi. I wasn’t provided the passcode and had to call the office and had to listen to an automated menu before I could connect to a live person. Once given the passcode the WiFi worked marginally. The roads and RV sites are gravel and very dusty. It was quiet where I was camped. With my AC running it would have to be quite noisy to hear outside sounds. In the morning I tried to locate the shower facility to no avail. I was not given a map of the campground which would have been very helpful. There are no sewer connections available at the sites. I was told that there was a dump station near the entrance. In the morning when I departed, I did not see the dump station and didn’t bother to find out where it was. I just figured it would be easier to empty at my next stop. it was also too pricy for not having sewer hookup. I would not stop there again if given a choice. - IllinoisFlatlander
May 2017 - $35.00
I think. This is a wonderful park. It has large shady trees. Gravel roads and grass parking site. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I filled up with their propane before they guided me into my spot. Some people might complain about close quarters getting into my spot but I had no problem getting my 38 ft class a into it. I enjoyed camping on the grass and the price was right for a full 50 hookup. The snake river run right at the edge of this campground. The executive golf course is very nice. The hot springs are good. They have a number of pavillions and tent camping side. I think many groups and family reunions reserve them and the surrounding sites. Not busy during the week but full on weekends. Also people come from mikes around just for their pizza restaurant. If I am in the area again, I would surely return. - steve dunn
Sep 2016 - $32.00
Multiple campgrounds. Ours was all grass. Too many poplar trees for satellite TV. Easy access and very quiet. - Sidehill
Aug 2016 - $32.00
We stayed at the Heise Hot Springs RV Park during August, intending to stay only one week, and decided to stay two more. There are 3 'sections' to this RV Park, we staying in a section of about 40 spaces. Lots of trees, and all the spaces are grass, no gravel pads. Space between sites, and gravel road around the Park. Very quiet, as the park is about 5 miles off the highway, and very close to the Snake River. During the week, there were only around 7 RVs in the Park, but it was completely full for the weekends. Staff helps to guide everyone into their site.
A zipline ride runs overhead of the cliffs behind the park - it was fun watching folks sail by! The Hot Springs Pool fee is not included with your fees, but was only 10 dollars. - Explorateurs
Sep 2016 - $20.00
Quiet country location a few minutes from Idaho Falls. This is a county rec park (ball fields, picnic areas) with a small RV campground in one corner. Office on site, but it was locked the two days I was there. No wifi. - 42lena
Aug 2016 - $20.00
Nice park. Never saw any workers/employees while there. Quiet. Great stop over if in the area. Would stay again. - Roaming from CA
Jul 2016 - $20.00
We called and talked to a nice lady, seems they live on site but we never did see them. We put our check in a mail slot at the entrance building that we never saw manned. This is a county park with 12 electric/ water sites. They are plenty long and level. Lots of campers pulled in to use the dump station which we could see but did not bother us. The anti siphon device on our water leaked, I reported it but it was not fixed while we were here. Park was quiet at night. We would stay here again. - houseonwheels
Aug 2015 - $25.00
Located next to Hwy 20 and railroad tracks. However, the noise level isn't bad at all. Only one train has come through in 4 days. There are trees in the park for some sites. However, the pull troughs are open and you can receive satellite. There are many artifacts that are worthy of photographing around the park and the landscaping is pretty. The office and store is stocked with all kinds of interesting items for sale including a gun shop and ammunition. Internet, is intermittent from the pull through lots. The signal is strong if you go next to the owner's residence. We would stay here again. Received a weekly discount $160.00. - dc1gator
May 2015 - $25.00
This campground is okay for an overnight stop. The sites are very close together and it could be difficult to maneuver in a larger rig (we have a 31 ft. 5th wheel). People were very friendly and they do check with you to make sure you got into your site okay. The price was higher than were originally quoted. - Bobbi1948
Apr 2015 - $18.00
The owners were great. They showed us to our site and came back later to make sure everything was ok. The atmosphere with old things all over the park was real cool. There r 3 buildings made of stone taken from his fathers place 120 years old. We would stay there again. Check out their gift shop. - Marlen
