Concrete pad, lakeside, fhu, no wifi and NO TV (antenna)!!! Staff very friendly. No laundry on site so I drove about 5 miles to a laundromat. Was very nice. Had to drive a ways for a grocery store. Very windy! Don't ever leave for the day without rolling up the awning.

Very windy off the lake. NO TV unless you have satellite. Otherwise nice. We camped at Henrys Lake State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This campsite is an easy "commute" to the west entrance to Yellowstone and is also in a prime fly fishing area. The sites are on a slight hillside overlooking and adjacent to the lake. Every site has a lake view and mountain views are excellent also. The driveways are level and gravel as is the patio area. A small fire place is at each site. There are no shaded sites and the winds coming off the lake can get strong. We were near the older rest room building and it was clean. It seemed everyone there spent the day in Yellowstone and retired early to get ready for another day doing the same. The parking pads and drives could use a bit more gravel to keep down the dust. We camped at Henrys Lake State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

There is not convenient food shopping in the Henry's Fork area and restaurants are 10+ minutes away. Plan accordingly. Do not leave your awning up while away from the campsite. Winds come up suddenly from off the lake. At our particular restroom building the toilets were through one door and the showers through another and you have to come back outside to get to either. Another plan accordingly notice. Firewood available 24/7 through a giant vending machine.

Great place to stay. Good AT&T and Verizon signal. No wifi. Cleanest and nicest showers and restrooms I've ever seen. Views of the lake from every site. Most sites have just water and electric but a few have full hookups. Website reservation worked great. Really nice people run this place. We camped at Henrys Lake State Park in a Motorhome.

Excellent alternative to pricier parks in West Yellowstone just 16 miles away. Not a resort by any means but the scenery and proximity to Yellowstone make it a great value. We camped at Henrys Lake State Park in a Motorhome.

We camped in our 42 foot fifth wheel and it was beautiful. Plenty to do right in the campground or there is yellowstone a short 30 minute drive away. We kayaked, hiked the loop, and hang out on the lake. There were small leeches in the water, so I wouldn't recommend swimming. Cell service was great and I had 3 different packages arrive for me while we were there. The staff delivered to our RV door! We camped at Henrys Lake State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The park is on a big lake with mountains in the background. It was beautiful, but the wind was pretty intense at times. Our spots were very spacious. We were in the back where the spots were staggered so it gave us a bit more feeling of privacy. There is a path by the lake to walk the dog with garbage pails. We did not have sewer hook up, but there are some available. Our satellite and verizon worked great. Easy to maneuver the roads with big rigs. We camped at Henrys Lake State Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed here one night. This is a quiet place with very nice scenery. Our site was 45 which was one of few pull thrus. Mostly level site with excellent utilities (50 amp). No sewer at this site but a handful of sites in this loop did have sewer available. Roads and site were paved and easily navigated. The bathrooms/showers in this loop were faily new and consisted of individual rooms. They were also among the cleanest we have seen in 12+ years of RVing. We camped at Henrys Lake State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The park setting is beautiful. Great to just sit outside overlooking the lake and surrounding moutains. Nice walking trails right from the campground. Site 20 was sufficient for our 40 ft and tow. Probably the biggest drawback was no sewer hookup. But we managed ok for 7 nights being real careful with the water. Came here to visit yellowstone as most everything closer were all booked up. We camped at Henrys Lake State Park in a Motorhome.

This is a big, beautiful park next to a lake. The sites are huge. There are lots of places to walk. It is very windy in the area so it is sometimes hard to be outside. However, it is also peaceful and serene. It is also a fair drive to Yellowstone. We were here 3 nights. We've stayed closer to Yellowstone before but those (private) parks pack you in like sardines. At Henry's, you have lots of space and it is ultra quiet. We camped at Henrys Lake State Park in a Travel Trailer.

This park is situated in one of the most beautiful locations we have ever seen. The lake is so scenic and surrounded by mountains in all directions. The RV park is very well laid out, with plenty of room for the largest rigs. We stayed for 2 weeks, which is the max allowed at one time. Showers and baths were spotless, but we did have a struggle getting hot water at times. This park can be very windy, and we did experience some winds up to 40 MPH. We camped at Henrys Lake State Park in a Motorhome.

Easy access to Yellowstone NP from here. If you stay here you get free access to another state park in Island Park that has great bike trails. The lake has the best trout fishing in the state.

We stayed 3 nights while visiting Yellowstone and Grand Tetons NP. I would stay here again. Our site was paved but had a severe slope, rear to front about 2'. I could not level my trailer since I did not have adequate blocking. The locals brought 8" wood blocks for their tongue and front stabilizer jacks. Mosquitoes were the worse I have encountered anywhere (Alaska, Louisiana swamps, Florida Everglades, SC lowlands, etc) We could not set outside after dinner. The park is a beautiful place. A less expensive alternative for the west Yellowstone area, 20 minutes west of the park entrance. We camped at Henrys Lake State Park in a Travel Trailer.

For the most part, I agree with previous review for the park. The mosquitos only came out at night-fall. Many of the sites are not very level. Ours (site 68), was fairly level and required very little leveling. The site was plenty long enough for a 36ft motorhome and toad. The surroundings are gorgeous - a wide mountain valley with a large lake. Had no trouble getting satellite TV. Had passable Verizon and T-Mobile signals. The price reflects the $10 ReserveAmerica fee and the $5 per day extra vehicle fee (for my toad). We camped at Henrys Lake State Park in a Motorhome.
