Convenient. Easy big rig access. Asphalt interior/including pad. Verizon/AT&T good, no over air channels no satellite signal from interior. Perm residents on outside boarder. Friendly hosts. We camped at Crystal Gold Mine RV Park in a Motorhome.

Good for one night. No cable, no satellite reception, no WiFi. We were one of the lucky ones who got 50 amp. It's not a bad area though. Lots of mine tours like the one offered by the park. We camped at Crystal Gold Mine RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice little campground situated between rocky cliff and the interstate. Real campground setting with lots of trees and gravel roads. Less than a 5 minute drive off the interstate ramp to the West. Upgraded sites with new asphalt pads. Campfire rings. Services all fine except no wifi? Old gold mining cars, buckets, and other equipment used for unique landscaping. Interesting. Suggest you book ahead as sites may be limited. Great for an overnight stay. We camped at Crystal Gold Mine RV Park in a Motorhome.

Adequate campground for over night stay. Good utilities, asphalt pad to park on. No issue with parking my 44' Motorhome. Right on I90, so lots of traffic noise. No satellite tv reception or OTA. Neat mine tour and owners are very friendly and knowledgeable about the mining operations in the area. Walmart about 15 minutes away. We camped at Crystal Gold Mine RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park is attached to a gold mining attraction. The park itself is small, but neat and clean. Management nice and helpful on the phone and in person. Both pull-through and back-in sites available. We had a back-in site, 50 amp, full hook-up. No issues with any of the utilities. Interior roads paved and easy to navigate. Nice and wide. Sites are partially paved and gravel. Paved where your rig sits. Sites are very long. Some road noise, but didn't bother us, and I am a very light sleeper. Fire rings and picnic tables. Only wish we had been able to spend more time at this lovely little park. We camped at Crystal Gold Mine RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park was used as our home base while visiting family. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Road and sites are blacktop and level. We had FHU at our site. Lots of trees so lots of shade. Sites are close together but we didn't mind. Campground is right next to I-90 but after a while you don't notice the traffic anymore. A gold mine tour with gold panning at the west end of the campground. Tour was informative and the kids enjoyed panning. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Crystal Gold Mine RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Love this little "no frills" park! Clean sites, lots of shade, great proximity to the Coeur d' Lane Bike Trail, and very accommodating owners. We stay there coming and going to Montana, and appreciate it every time. No showers or bathrooms, but we didn't have to pay for amenities we wouldn't be using anyway, and that's much appreciated. Tips for other Campers:

The Gold Mine tour is truly interesting, and worth the time and fee. Couer d' Lane bike trail is less than a 1/4 mile from the park, and runs the total distance across the panhandle of Idaho, about 72 miles. Also the Hiawatha Bike Trail is not too far away, and really worth the effort.

We just happened to be able to get two spots for the weekend of the Blues Festival in Wallace. The owner was very helpful. There aren't many sites, but they are all very nice and not too close to your neighbor. You can see the highway, but not a bother. It was much nicer than some of the others that were packed tight. We went through the mine tour and it was great. They made it very interesting and fun. I would highly recommend this campground. We camped at Crystal Gold Mine RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

You WILL get freeway noise if you stay here. However, I would grin and bear it, because the nearby (walking distance) tour of Crystal Mine is well worth the visit ($1 discount if you are a AAA member), and the price of a stay at the RV Park is reasonable. When you check in, they don't even make you fill out a registration form! The price I am showing is after taxes and Good Sam discount. By the way, the Good Sam/AAA discount is only $1. I said "no" to clean restrooms and showers" because...they don't have a bathhouse at this time. The manager told me that building a bathhouse is in the future plans. They mentioned that it would be a "coins needed" type of shower. Most of the sites have decent shade via a lot of trees. The sites are all back-in with a black top paved pad. Plenty of room for slides. You get just the basics here, water, electric, and sewer. Oh, the water hookup is shared. The faucets, which have double spouts on each, are placed every other site so one of you in the "pair" will have the water faucet on the wrong side. Since I was staying one night, I just filled up my tank and operated off that. I have a JACK TV antenna, and I couldn't get a thing on TV. To me, this RV park exists to serve the tourists who stop for the mine tour, so you wouldn't expect any "perms." However, about three of the sites looked like "perms" to me. There were NO signs directing the way to the park. The website says "easy I-90 access." HA! Not really. I had trouble finding it. Here is the scoop: If you are going east, take exit 51. If you are going west, take exit 54. Either way, you will have to get to just barely north of the freeway and travel along Silver Valley Road. (I was headed east, took exit 54 and had to double backward a couple miles.) I'm giving it a 7 because it looks like a cute little campground out in the woods. The mine tour is a MUST! We camped at Crystal Gold Mine RV Park in a Motorhome.

Great little park just off I-90, first exit after Kellogg heading East. Main business is the Gold Mine tour, they don't even talk about the RV park on their web site, just mention it is there. They are doing a lot of work to make the sites big rig friendly. We stayed in 45' rig and found the new sites asphalt paved, level and full coach length; others are gravel. Sites have decent separation on well maintained gravel roads, about four 50 amp sites the rest are 30 amp. Newer sites are wide and free of obstructions; we backed in. Clean. They have plans for pull-throughs eventually but not now. Full hookups. Very close to the freeway but not excessively noisy. Nice 71 mile paved bicycle trail across the road with lots of room for dogs to run free down by the river. Uncrowded when we stayed. Nice people, working to improve the park, interesting area and exhibits, and there is always the gold mine tour. A find for a quick overnight. Try it; I will again. We camped at Crystal Gold Mine RV Park in a Motorhome.
