It is located right off highway that gets fairly quiet at night. The office is a small kiosk, but the attendant is quite nice. There are rules regarding pets, but we appreciate the rules. People are expected to control their dogs. The attendant guides you to and into the site. The sites are asphalt (somewhat level) and you enter opposite of your neighbor to share utility side. There is a shared little grass strip with a single picnic table. Not much shade. Bathrooms are basic, but clean. Hook ups are fine. The water doesn't need to be filtered. Wifi is fine, no cable. This is the only game in town, so we will be back. We camped at The Meadows RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

There is no formal check in area. Just pull your rig off the road as best you can and go to the office, which looks like a guard booth. You'll have to read a ten point pet policy and sign that you read it. sites are tight. Rigs enter in opposite directions so you end up sharing a utility side and a patio side. We stayed in site #34, which worked out well since the site next to us was reserved for dry camping an is rarely used so we weren't crammed in on the patio side. No cable and we couldn't get over the air either even with a booster. WiFi was excellent, as were the utilities. Little shade. Staff was friendly. Sites were asphalt and level. Big rigs with tow will have to park their tow on the perimeter, across the road from your rig. We camped at The Meadows RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The scenic drive from Ketchum to Stanley via Highway 75 North is spectacular. Bike/walking path just down from park is great. If you're looking for some lunch where you can have your dog on the patio with you, Sawtooth Brewery Public House is great.

The park grounds are very clean and well-kept, and they certainly enforce the rules about "no dogs in the center row". The wifi here was excellent for me, although my husband didn't have as good luck as I did with my devices. There is no cable TV, but since our site had no trees we got excellent Dish reception.

The positives for this park: they're close to Ketchum and Sun Valley and Sawtooth National Recreational Area (SNRA), and the bike path to Ketchum and Hailey can be accessed just down the (residential) side street. The sites are asphalt with grass strips so there is no dust to contend with.

The negatives for this park: the sites are extremely narrow. We literally could not put out our awning because our neighbor had got his out first before we arrived. We also saw someone in a large class A attempt to park next to us, fail, and drive away (presumably to camp somewhere else). The park is also located right on Hwy 75, the main corridor into town, so traffic is streaming by at all hours.

All in all, since they're pretty much the only game in town unless you go up to SNRA and camp in the facility-less national forest campgrounds, we've been satisfied and will camp here again if we come this way again. We camped at The Meadows RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Drive up to Galena Overlook for a wonderful view of the Sawtooth Mountains. On the way back stop at Galena Lodge for a meal or a snack. The Lodge is in a beautiful setting, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It is very dog-friendly; there is a "dog deck" for pet owners to sit out on with their furry family members and a "people deck" for everyone else.

Great location. Wonderful views of the Sawtooth Mtns. Impeccably-clean restrooms & laundry facility. Nice to park on blacktop so leveling is easy, but as stated, the little grass strips between the sights are very small. WiFi is excellent, as is Verizon service. Campground hostess is very nice. Three miles to Ketchum; you can bike on trails into town and all around here. If the park is full you may feel a bit cramped, but we had an end spot and are only 30' so we had no complaints. Even if we were in the middle of the rows with close-by neighbors, the positives of this place far outweigh the tight spots. We have decided we will come back next year and spend at least a week for all there is to see and do and enjoy around here. We camped at The Meadows RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The end spots would be preferred if you can request these. Ketchum is a lovely little town. Prices are high which may be problematic for some, but we loved the restaurants (so many great ones!), shops, and general vibe of this high-end yet mostly unpretentious town. Check out the farmer's market on Tuesday in Ketchum; on Thursday in Hailey.

Unless you are in the center row any size RV is hard to park or pull out of. Spaces are small and almost didn't fit my small RV and truck. Staff was nice and it was quiet. Overprices for the small site. Site was not level. We camped at The Meadows RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

It's true the sites are close together as some have mentioned, but the 45 sites are in two neat rows and I didn't notice anyone having trouble getting into or out of their sites. Staff are friendly, the property and restrooms are very clean and the internet very good. Excellent location for cyclists or others who wish to access the paved hike and bike path that stretches from Sun Valley to Bellvue. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at The Meadows RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This smallish park is located at the southern end of the town, some distance from the central area. It adjoins a walk/bicycle trail on an old railroad right-of-way. It is compact with not a lot of space between campsites. A few trees are on the grassy bits between sites, but most are without trees. Trees are generally close to the internal roads, and should not interfere with slide-outs. The roads and sites are all paved with asphalt. The park is organized with “Siamese” services. RVs pull in alternating directions, so a set of hook-ups are shared between each pair of RVs. Two of the spaces have no services, but rent at a discount. Noise from the nearby busy road quieted down significantly after dark. From the general “feel” of the park, the surprise was the absolutely first-rate bathrooms and showers. On my visit, they were spotless! Alsom roomy with a well-thought out layout. WiFi signal was strong, but slow at times. Verizon signal was strong. We camped at The Meadows RV Park in a Motorhome.

We have stayed at this park 10 times over 10 years. And 2014 is the last time they will see us. We found the host, again, very customer unfriendly. She insisted upon crowding all of the RVs in one area of the park. Considering the layout with hookups on the wrong side (all RVs face each other) and very small lots, it was very uncomfortable. When we suggested that she space new arrivals in vacant areas of park, her response was very negative. Their reservation "system" is unprofessional. It is first come first serve. For instance - we reserved an "end" spot 6 months in advance. We were "bumped" from this spot because the people staying there before our dates, decided to stay another week. We camped at The Meadows RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

While not the most scenic place (right off the highway), this is a nice campground. The spots are close together, and I can see this being crowded and annoying during a busy time, but the bathrooms are clean, and so are the camp sites. The hosts are very ,very nice and helpful. They love animals and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. All in all, the lack of scenery and privacy is made up for by the proximity to the river/biking/walking trail, and the sweet/helpful host and hostess. We really enjoyed our stay here. Other than the narrow, hard to get into, sites, this is a great RV park. Spotless restrooms, level sites and good WiFi make this a great place to stop overnight. Owner was very friendly. Would definitely consider staying here again We camped at The Meadows RV Park in a Motorhome.

The only game in town. Good location just a few miles south of Ketchum. Short bike ride to paved, scenic, 20+ mile bike path. Friendly reception. Spots are very tight for a big rig to maneuver in to/out of. Not all sewer connections convenient. Most spots side to side hookups. Not a problem this stop as less than 10 RVs in park. Restroom as clean as any I've seen, but only one sink/shower/toilet. Could be a problem in a full or near full park. Excellent WI-FI, no cable and antenna reception limited to one fuzzy channel. We camped at The Meadows RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The park manager couldn't have been nicer. The site and bathrooms were wonderfully clean and the Wi-Fi was tops. Only 3 miles south of Ketchum so it is easy to access Ketchum, Sun Valley and Hailey. It is near a many-miles-long bike trail that leads to those towns if you are so inclined. We will stop here again. We camped at The Meadows RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Late pm checkin with 43' motorhome. Very crowded. Difficulty unhooking toad. Block road. Pulled into my site following arrows. 5th wheel next to me in ass backwards as well as his next two neighbors. Lost my picnic table as their front door was almost in our bedroom. Their windows open and they played their gameboy all night. Boom da boom da boom. Other family partying very late with kids in road. Practically no sleep. Complained to manager. Did no good after she told them. Noisy place. Dump pipe is way toward road. Had to pull out in road to dump. The manager. was good though. Comp us for future night but we put it in round file cause we won't try it again. Not a great spot. Should have gone down road and dry camped. We camped at The Meadows RV Park in a Motorhome.

When you are the only game in town, you can charge the most. Pricey for what you get. People were nice and helpful but not always around. There is a laundry across the street. We had shade and the site was level. I would stay here again. We camped at The Meadows RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Greeted by extremely friendly, and helpful staff. Park and bathrooms are very clean. Close to perfectly maintained bike path and the river. Park is next to major highway but we found it was very peaceful. We plan to return next year. We camped at The Meadows RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
