If you have a big rig and want full hook-ups close to Sun Valley, this is it. We stayed late October when there was a handful of other campers so site space was not an issue for us. A herd of elk grazed through the campground each night - beautiful! Managers are super nice. We camped at The Meadows RV Park in a Motorhome.

This medium-sized RV park is about halfway between Ketchum and Hailey, ID, with all sites pull-through. Each site is asphalt with a narrow strip of grass around it. The hookups are fine but the sewer (in our case) was a bit hard to find among the roots of a tree. But that tree made our spot (#17) was the nicest one in the park, so, no complaints! The sites are quite close together, pull-throughs are alternating so there's only one picnic table for each two RVs, and the pedestal/water area is combined. The check-in was easy, navigating the park is as well, and all the office and other workers were efficient and pleasant. The bathrooms are small (1 stall/1 shower in the men's, 2 stalls/2 showers in the womens) but very clean, as was the laundry. The WiFi was very good except that the signal was a bit weak. Using our booster, it worked out great. Verizon was 2-3 bars, so not bad at all. Generally, this is a nice spot that, even though it's close to the highway, was pretty quiet, and it is convenient to Ketchum and Sun Valley. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area. We camped at The Meadows RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We were there in late August... there's a great bike trail that goes right near the RV park. We didn't mountain bike, but it's extremely popular in the area. We ate at (and loved) Powerhouse in Hailey, and at Galena Lodge (about 20 miles north of Ketchum) which was quite good, too. There a tiny but nice bookstore in Ketchum, and we visited Hemingway's grave site in the Ketchum cemetery, and a separate memorial site.

We travel in the off season and found this campground to be just what we needed. There are few choices heading up to Sun Valley and this was much better than the other choice. Reviews complained about sharing a grass strip with your neighbor--the manager put clients on every other site until there are no options. With the great mountain biking around here, it is in the right spot! We camped at The Meadows RV Park in a Truck Camper.

Great location. The pull-through sites are tight and since the RVs are parked in alternating directions, you share the small grass area between with your neighbor. Wifi was decent and ATT signal was good. Water pressure was a little low but otherwise the utilities were good. We camped at The Meadows RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

There are numerous things to do from exploring Ketchum and Sun Valley to hikes in the Sawtooth Mountains. There is a bike path very close to the RV park and it's a 3-4 mile ride into Ketchum. The path goes for miles it either direction.

The location to Ketchum a couple of miles is the big draw here. A very nice bike path can take u there. Otherwise the rv sites are shared for the most part which was fine for us. The park did not have cable from what I remembered so overall it's nice place to stay as long as u don't mind being close to your neighbor. The hookups were fine as well as water pressure. We used phone hot spot to do work and at&t worked decently and Verizon 5 bars but data speed slow. We camped at The Meadows RV Park in a Motorhome.

We didn't have any trouble maneuvering through this park but the spaces are tight, tight, tight!. One of those places you pull in opposite your neighbors and share the pole for electrical hookups. Individual boxes but on the same pole. You get the picture, tight! But, it's the only game in town. We shared a picnic table with out neighbors though many sites had two, they were just in-between as the passenger side of our MH faced the passenger side of our neighbor. Wifi was adequate. Verizon signal was good. Beautiful area. We camped at The Meadows RV Park in a Motorhome.

Others have commented about how tight the spaces are and they are really tight. On two different occasions the awnings from our neighbor crossed over the top of our awning. On the good side we had plenty of shade for those warm days. Read the rules carefully "only propane cooking allowed". Also no more than two pets. The staff are very nice and work very hard to keep the grounds clean and keep the grass green. Great location between Hailey and Stanley. Laundry very clean and nice. Shared power pedestal and water faucet with neighbor. Depending on the site the sewer connection can be more than twenty feet from you RV. We camped at The Meadows RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed in this park for two weeks, so we could experience Sun Valley. Although there is nothing to rave about really, they are the only RV park for miles around and therefore, they could really take advantage of RVers. They do not. The place is clean, the people are friendly, and they do their best to situate folks where they would like to be. They were accommodating to us, and really quite nice. We only had a next door neighbor for one night, out of 14. That's pretty good! That said, there's no additional amenities, so if you stay, come for the location. Which of course is amazing! We camped at The Meadows RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Clean no frills campground. Check-in fast and easy. Site big enough for our 40' MH but had to unhook toad. Paved sites with grass strip. We were traveling thru Sawtooths on the way to Bitteroots so only stayed 1 night. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. We camped at The Meadows RV Park in a Motorhome.

Good park with all the amenities that we need. FHU, good wifi, no cable, All long pull thru. Little grassy strip at each site. Some shade. I took a few points off for one of the policies. That is no charcoal grilling allowed. We cook 80% of our meals over the grill and I never saw anything on their website that mentioned that. We camped at The Meadows RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Nice clean park with a few long-term residents next to a mobile home community. No discounts. No place to park to check-in - pull off to the side or use the pullout across the street. Office is extremely small. Staff was very nice but very focused on the "rules" Sites are paved with grass on the side and fairly level. Utilities were all fine and we were able to get a good satellite signal. Wifi was Excellent as was the cell phone (Verizon 4G) Very nice walking/biking paved rail-trail nearby. It is pretty close to Highway 75 but it seems the traffic noise died down around dusk. Would stay here again if passing through or sightseeing the Sawtooth National Forest. It is located right off highway that gets fairly quiet at night. The office is a small kiosk, but the attendant is quite nice. There are rules regarding pets, but we appreciate the rules. People are expected to control their dogs. The attendant guides you to and into the site. The sites are asphalt (somewhat level) and you enter opposite of your neighbor to share utility side. There is a shared little grass strip with a single picnic table. Not much shade. Bathrooms are basic, but clean. Hook ups are fine. The water doesn't need to be filtered. Wifi is fine, no cable. This is the only game in town, so we will be back. We camped at The Meadows RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

There is no formal check in area. Just pull your rig off the road as best you can and go to the office, which looks like a guard booth. You'll have to read a ten point pet policy and sign that you read it. sites are tight. Rigs enter in opposite directions so you end up sharing a utility side and a patio side. We stayed in site #34, which worked out well since the site next to us was reserved for dry camping an is rarely used so we weren't crammed in on the patio side. No cable and we couldn't get over the air either even with a booster. WiFi was excellent, as were the utilities. Little shade. Staff was friendly. Sites were asphalt and level. Big rigs with tow will have to park their tow on the perimeter, across the road from your rig. We camped at The Meadows RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The scenic drive from Ketchum to Stanley via Highway 75 North is spectacular. Bike/walking path just down from park is great. If you're looking for some lunch where you can have your dog on the patio with you, Sawtooth Brewery Public House is great.

The park grounds are very clean and well-kept, and they certainly enforce the rules about "no dogs in the center row". The wifi here was excellent for me, although my husband didn't have as good luck as I did with my devices. There is no cable TV, but since our site had no trees we got excellent Dish reception.

The positives for this park: they're close to Ketchum and Sun Valley and Sawtooth National Recreational Area (SNRA), and the bike path to Ketchum and Hailey can be accessed just down the (residential) side street. The sites are asphalt with grass strips so there is no dust to contend with.

The negatives for this park: the sites are extremely narrow. We literally could not put out our awning because our neighbor had got his out first before we arrived. We also saw someone in a large class A attempt to park next to us, fail, and drive away (presumably to camp somewhere else). The park is also located right on Hwy 75, the main corridor into town, so traffic is streaming by at all hours.

All in all, since they're pretty much the only game in town unless you go up to SNRA and camp in the facility-less national forest campgrounds, we've been satisfied and will camp here again if we come this way again. We camped at The Meadows RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Drive up to Galena Overlook for a wonderful view of the Sawtooth Mountains. On the way back stop at Galena Lodge for a meal or a snack. The Lodge is in a beautiful setting, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It is very dog-friendly; there is a "dog deck" for pet owners to sit out on with their furry family members and a "people deck" for everyone else.

Great location. Wonderful views of the Sawtooth Mtns. Impeccably-clean restrooms & laundry facility. Nice to park on blacktop so leveling is easy, but as stated, the little grass strips between the sights are very small. WiFi is excellent, as is Verizon service. Campground hostess is very nice. Three miles to Ketchum; you can bike on trails into town and all around here. If the park is full you may feel a bit cramped, but we had an end spot and are only 30' so we had no complaints. Even if we were in the middle of the rows with close-by neighbors, the positives of this place far outweigh the tight spots. We have decided we will come back next year and spend at least a week for all there is to see and do and enjoy around here. We camped at The Meadows RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The end spots would be preferred if you can request these. Ketchum is a lovely little town. Prices are high which may be problematic for some, but we loved the restaurants (so many great ones!), shops, and general vibe of this high-end yet mostly unpretentious town. Check out the farmer's market on Tuesday in Ketchum; on Thursday in Hailey.
