My wife and I and another couple camped at Albert's Landing this past weekend. We have a large travel trailer with a slide out. The owner reserved a very spacious RV spot in a beautiful meadow for us with 30 amp power. Site #38 might be the best site to reserve if you have a large RV. #38 has the most shade. The owner visited us several times during our stay and asked if there was anything she could do for us. The campground was full, but the sites are so spacious that we did not feel cramped. Overall, a very nice clean campground with a very gracious host. We camped at Albert's Landing River Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Fantastic new owners and this place is great fun! Highly recommended! Especially loved the large beach front on the Coeur d'Alene River (with fire rings). We camped at Albert's Landing River Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Probably # 1 is the Coeur d'Alene River Float experience. It is Fantastic Fun! There are so many ranger approved back roads and trails (both motorized and non-motorized) and hiking adventures to explore while here that I could very easily stay all summer and still not see or explore them all. Their 'backyard' is the CDA forest. In addition to the above there is a 76 mile paved biking trail to ride just done the street. Okay, I just realized there is far to much to do and see to list on here...

We needed a place to stay after driving east from Seattle and saw this campsite as an opportunity to get away from the freeway traffic noise. Originally we were set to camp in an electric site but, after looking around elected to stay on the grass in the middle away from other campers so as to get a little more privacy. Campsites spaced close together. Manager quite nice when we arrived but caution to any big rigs that the turn by the office is tight. Unhook at the gas station before you enter the park. Large fifth wheels might be a tight fit. Campground itself has plenty of room for big rigs or 5th wheels if you can negotiate the 165 degree turn. We camped at Albert's Landing River Resort in a Motorhome.

A resort in the making but not quite there yet. If your focus is on rafting a beautiful river in some spectacular country this may work for you. As an RV campground for overnight or as a base for touring, not so much. Rates get you a grassy spot near a power post. Available water is marked Non Potable. If there is 50 amp we missed it. The 30 amp we had could not keep up with our A/C. Popped the post breaker repeatedly. Buildings are remnants of a bygone day, tired and worn. Despite being 2 miles North of I-90 it's amazing how much traffic noise there is. Having said all that the folks working to make a go of it are good hearted and hard working. We camped at Albert's Landing River Resort in a Travel Trailer.
