We have stayed at this RV Park four times now - each for extended stays of more than a month, the last ones being this winter for two months, and the stay being rated here for one. The price for an extended winter stay was only $15 a day plus electricity which averaged $20 a month. We were there to ski, which we did almost daily at Brundage Mountain Ski resort only 20 minutes away. During the winter, not all sites are plowed, but the park is not crowded and it is very pleasant. Excellent lodge area with great pool, hot tub, and steam room. Bathroom/shower facilities were top notch and even had bathmats. They fill your propane tank for you and pick up your trash when you set it out. The laundry facilities are excellent and not expensive. Every detail you could think of is taken care of here as this is a top rate facility deserving of the name "resort". Very professionally run and a fantastic bargain in the winter at only $475 a month. We will be back next winter for another extended stay. We camped at McCall RV Resort in a Truck Camper.

Tips for other Campers:

Two fantastic restaurants in town-- Steamers and Ruperts. Plus a couple great brewpubs - McCall Brewing and Salmon River. The Broken Horn brewery with tasting room is just a 5 minutes walk away.

Probably the most beautiful and accomodating park we have been in. Unique configuration of sites allowing space and privacy. Staff was exceptional, grounds clean and superbly maintained, water faucet covered by staff due to lower temperatures anticipated at night, TV and wifi were great. Didn't use the pool but it was very tempting! Loved the visits of the early morning red fox and the late afternoon mule deer. We camped at McCall RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Great dinner at Steamers in town!

We have greatly enjoyed this park twice before, especially the pool. We paid for 4 nights and stayed 3 due to very loud banging and people preparing for a wedding that started Saturday morning at 4:00 a.m. for a couple hours and then turned into very loud music for most of Saturday until 11:00 p.m. Unsupervised children from the wedding came down the hill and played behind our trailer. I left two messages on the phone message system around 10:00 p.m. and noted we would leave early next day and would desire a refund for that last day we had paid for, but received no response. My husband went up to office, usually closed at that time and received a hollow apology. The pool and restroom area were taken over by the crowd from the wedding most of the day and evening, so my main reason for picking this park were minimized by loss of use for the last day we were actually there. Also loose dogs from campers across from us ran at night and during day through other camper's lots and the wooded area others used for a dog relief area. We camped at McCall RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Beware of staying on a weekend if you like listening to nature instead of loud booming music with too many outside visitors as they have frequent weddings, etc. then.

Great place to stay. It is really a resort unlike most places that say they are but are usually dumps. Nice spacious sites, pool is great, staff is always helpful, close to bike path, close to airport and beautiful area to camp. We camped at McCall RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

We've been on the road full time for almost five months now and I usually just laugh when an RV park calls itself a "resort". Some of these so-called resorts aren't fit for human habitation! But McCall RV truly is a resort. This is a top-notch operation. At $47 it's more than we usually spend and not really worth it since we were only staying one night and didn't use most of the amenities, but if you are looking for a really nice place to stay in the McCall area for awhile this is it. I did use the laundry room and it was super-clean, reasonably priced, had 10 washers and 10 dryers and cable tv. The restrooms/showers are actually six full bathrooms with marble vanities and spacious free showers. Also scrupulously clean. Didn't use the pool, spa, or workout room but they looked great. There are three levels. We were in the middle level. Didn't get down to check out the river level, but I thought the upper level was not very desirable being right by the road and not quite as nice in my opinion as the middle level. The sites varied but most were spacious and easy to access. Wi-fi was ok, although not great, and Verizon service was a bit weak. I would certainly stay again if I was in the McCall area. We camped at McCall RV Resort in a Truck Camper.

When we drove up the office had already closed for the day, but a man was standing outside ready to guide us to a spot. He helped my husband get parked and made sure we could connect the utilities. He left us a map and offered to unlock the laundry room if we needed it. TV and wifi worked fine. The overall look of the place is manicured. The roads are paved, the lawns look perfect. Despite being such a large place it was more than a gravel lot with RVs in a line. The service is great--they even pick up your trash at your site. We would definitely stay here again. This is the most we spent at an RV park in 7 weeks, would not hesitate to do it again. We camped at McCall RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here for a week in our 35 foot 5th wheel. Our campsite was on the very top level with all the cabins. At first I was rather upset but soon found out it was much quieter up there, so I am glad we were there. The river can be accessed on lower level and the trail is very nice, altho short. Lots of grass and trees. A lovely bike path close by that takes you into town. Fabulous Farmers Market on Wed and Sat from 10-2. This park is very nice. We would definitely come again. We camped at McCall RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We are new to the "RV" life as this is our first camp trailer. That stated, we have traveled and camped all over the state of Idaho. From the moment we pulled into the resort, with the staff meeting us and guiding us to check in, to the time we rolled out we felt at home and comfortable. The grounds are clean and well kept and it is obvious that pride is taken in the care and appearance of this resort. The check in process was pleasant and timely. We were met and guided to site 66 which, in my opinion, is one of the better spots in the resort. After backing/guiding me into the site and showing us all the hook ups we parted ways and set up. I will add that the help he gave backing me in saved the usual "snipping" between the wife and I....lol. The only negative I can draw from our stay is the fact that open wood camp fires are not allowed, I do fully understand the reasoning behind this rule. To sum up our stay.....excellent!!! We camped at McCall RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

If you aren't familiar with the Mccall area go check it out. We love it any time of year, summer on the lake is the best.

Stayed 4 nights in our small Class C and our friends in their 5th Wheel. Beautiful, very well groomed and maintained park in the forest, next to the river just outside McCall, Idaho. Great clubhouse with indoor heated pool, hot tub, steam room, gym and five separate residential style bathrooms with showers and all the privacy one would need. Very caring, attentive staff and two very friendly blond kit foxes who came daily to eat handouts from campers. Loved the stay, will return in the future. We camped at McCall RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

A small micro-brewery is located just outside the entrance to the rv park, several nearby restaurants are in McCall with good shopping and lots of things to do in this small mountain resort town very reminiscent of a miniature Lake Tahoe. Good base camp for day excursions around the area.

Beautiful well maintained park. Friendly staff. Their description of being able to "walk to town" is stretching it a bit. Maybe for a hiker but not for the average camper. The highlight of our stay is the foxes who come into the campground frequently and have been fed by the campers so have become rather friendly and you are warned not to leave anything outside as they will take them; I.e., sneakers, small toys etc. great stop and the town near the lake is a beauty. We camped at McCall RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a very attractive RV park with many amenities. Sites are gravel, but all roads are paved. There are a variety of sites, ranging from pull-through to back-in. Sites are spacious and wide (those with slide-outs should have plenty of room). There are a few trees that provide some (but not much) shade (no interference with satellite reception). For small groups, there are eight “quads” where four RVs can park and share a central rectangle of grass. (Some of these have more trees/shade.) The park is on, essentially two levels, with cabins as you enter, then down a sloping road to the main section where most of the RV sites are located. The “lodge” has a large meeting room (with a great view of the river) and an attached building has a pool, hot-tub, and shower facilities. The showers are actually complete private bathrooms. These are roomy, with stonework and even “foot mats” to stand on while drying off. This is an upscale RV park — though the price was not outrageous. There were no identifiable long term tenants. WiFi was available, but I wasn’t able to reliably connect my iPad — Verizon signal was strong, however. I'd be happy to return to this park in the future. We camped at McCall RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This place was absolutely fantastic! The staff was all so friendly, especially the older husband/wife team that initially greeted us! This property is kept spotless. The pool and hot tub were a wonderful retreat after a week of camping from Texas on our way to Seattle. Friendly, welcoming, and helpful! The signage to get here is also wonderful and well thought out. This place is on the river with access. Oh yeah! And there's a newer little brewery you can walk to at the top of the Campground 's entrance. Who could ask for more? We camped at McCall RV Resort in a Truck Camper.

We last stayed here 7 years (and 3 owners ago) and thought that the park was fine but overpriced. It is still a nice park and the price is acceptable. We had a gravel, FHU, pull-through not too far from the office/lodge. We had to do some leveling. All sites have 60+ channel cable TV. Their channel listing shows Comedy Central, but the station did not come in (local censorship??). Fortunately, our site and many others are satellite friendly. The internet provider is Tengo was the second worst internet reception of this trip. The setting is beautiful and this is a big, busy park with lots of extended stay customers and families on vacation. It is about 1 and 1/2 miles to the lake via the bike/walking trail (which is almost half a mile from the lodge. I was unable to find any recycling. Nice park with some flaws. We camped at McCall RV Resort in a Motorhome.
