Overall Rating:

The sites here are spacious, and well laid out. They have large concrete patios, picnic tables, and the utilities are logically placed. The sites are laid out on an angle to the road so getting in and out is easy, but also provide a great view because of the position of your neighbor is 10-15' back from the front of your rig. One improvement I would have liked is if the sites were paved instead of gravel. The roads are paved and plenty wide. The part of the park we were in was just recently completed, so when we first got there, some of the construction fencing was still up, but they came and took it down a few days later. The pool and spa are fabulous, and I spent a few nights soaking in the spa after a day of hiking or kayaking. The pool and spa are indoor, but the front and back walls of the pool area are glass roll up doors. When the weather is nice like when we were there, the roll up doors are opened and bring the outside in. The spa is raised above the level of the pool, so it's a good place to soak and still keep an eye on the little ones. The restrooms are also in the building and are beautifully modern and handicapped accessible. There are also sauna's if you really need to work up a sweat. We paid about $48 a night for our site, and that was with tax. A tributary to Payette Lake runs in back of the campground, and a short walk takes you to the shore. I did need to set up a remote satellite dish here as 2 giant trees next to the site blocked reception from the roof top dish. Our on board Wifi worked great (T Mobile) but the campground wifi was said to be excellent. The only real "ding" I can put on the park is the layout of some of the sites. We had a pull in facing the river below, but many of the interior sites are laid out in "square" configuration. What that did was put 4 RV's around the outside of a good size grass area, but all of the patio sides faced inward towards each other. This may be difficult with pets. I will stay here again. We camped at McCall RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a first class facility. The way we wish RV Parks all would be like. Large parking site. Nice forest views. Excellent power (50 Amp), good water, good quality dump. Their WiFi works quite well. About 20 Mbps down with a full summertime park load. The camp staff were so nice we would hug them (except we aren't that forward). The only thing we would change is they have no camp fires. Still, we understand the why on that. No dust, well marked, paved roads. Very coarse gravel parking site with concrete (large) pad for picnic table. This is RV camping at its best. We camped at McCall RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is very likely my favorite RV Park I've ever stayed in. It's lovely. The sites are super long, gravel with concrete pads, lovely round picnic tables, and a bit of grass. The surroundings could not be more lovely, smelling that pine air. Pool is indoor so fully shaded with hot tub, steam room, and a club house with free popcorn. Wifi is pretty good, but who wants to use it in McCall? Right across the street from the bike path that takes you right downtown and the river is at the back of the campground with another exit to hike from. Very wide lanes, super easy to back in to sites. They also have these cool square sites if you're going with friends that 4 units can open their doors and share space instead of having to be in a row. Staff was lovely all around and helpful at every turn. I wanted to stay forever! We camped at McCall RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Park is just outside of town & very close to any services you might need. I was in a FHU gravel pull/thru that had plenty of room for my 42' 5th wheel & truck. The park is easy to maneuver in. All sites have a concrete patio with a picnic table & are quite spacious. The laundry & bathrooms are very clean and up to date. I used my dish, but the cable tv had quite a few channels listed. The park wi-fi did not work at my site, but I was able to use my hotspot. This park is really kept up and clean, I would definitely come back. We camped at McCall RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We always take our fifth wheel up there, but this time we stayed at a cabin because we did not want to haul our trailer up there in the weather. The cabin is really nice and cozy. The beds are great. You have TV and a kitchen too. Our kids loved the sleeping loft. The pool is great as always. The kids love to swim then go have the free popcorn. Deer are always around and they are beautiful and healthy. The camp hosts always make sure you are comfortable and having fun. It is a great place for summer or winter camping. Always recommend. We camped at McCall RV Resort in a Cabin.

Overall Rating:

We've stayed here several times over the last few years, including my wife staying here during a three month temporary job assignment in town, and it is such a great park run by great folks. We stay in the upper loop, where the spaces are gravel and grass, but level. There are a dozen 'Park Model' units up there, and the park is adding more spaces down by the river. They include very basic cable TV (Ch 2-40) at each site and WiFi is hosted by TengoInternet. I never got a speed test faster than 5Mbps, but ping rates were excellent. AT&T and Sprint both had great cell coverage with 4G LTE and we had clear sightlines to use our Dish Network. The pool, hot tub, laundry and meeting facilities are excellent, and the exercise equipment is adequate for most peoples needs. The grounds are nearly immaculate, we saw raccoons, foxes and deer foraging in or around the park (so don't leave food outside your RV). The nearby Brew house hosts bands on the weekends, so you'll often hear some good music as you sit outside on weekend evenings. There are plenty of local restaurants that serve just about everything you'd like, especially during the tourist season. If you want to cook for yourself, one of the two local groceries has become an Albertsons, bringing a Starbucks to town. That said, the other one has much better maple bars. Just bring your propane grill, as charcoal and wood fires are not permitted. The only down side to staying here is the airport. It might not be a big deal to most folks, and wasn't that bad for us since we used to live in the glide path for a Naval Air Station, but for light sleepers I'd suggest you reserve a spot in the lower section unless you can sleep through the howl of piston or even jet engines as a private (or 'puddle-jumper' commercial) plane takes off. That said, don't let it dissuade you because it is not that frequent unless there is a special event - like the recent solar eclipse that had people flying in from around the region. We camped at McCall RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Beautiful park with lots of greenery. Sites are far enough apart for privacy and varying levels ensure nobody is looking right in your windows. WiFi is a little spotty but works. We got site 78 looking out on the river. Will upload photo if I can figure out how to do it. Walk into "downtown" is about a mile along bike path. Will definitely come again!!! Love this RV park. It's set up beautifully, with different elevations, and the sites are clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed walking the property in the evening and our dog liked the dog run near the clubhouse. McCall is a gorgeous area, and wish we could have stayed longer. We have a 42ft motorhome and the site was easy to get in and out of, and we had room for our vehicle as well. We camped at McCall RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Super park. Price reflects GS weekly rate. Just a beautiful place. Indoor pool and workout area. Good walking for humans and dogs!! They offered live entertainment one night while we were there that we really enjoyed. Folks running the campground were just awesome. We will most definitely return when passing through this part of Idaho. Good satellite and verizon. There was some construction on the far end of the park as new sites are going in. Our site was between two cabins and a pull in/back out. Great view! We camped at McCall RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This campground provides excellent service. Trash is picked up every day and packages are delivered to the rig. The staff is friendly and professional. A very classy resort. It is very nice that they have pool hours for adults only. The facility is kept immaculate except for the laundry room which needed a good dusting. Plenty of washers and dryers and the cost is $1.50 to wash and 25 cents for 10 minutes of drying time. Wifi signal is fair but drops constantly. Our T-Mobile had consistant 3-4 bar signal. The afternoon sun is brutal which we believe to be how the campsites are situated. Come prepared with shade screen for the afternoon sun. There are some nice walking trails around the campground. We will definitely come back for another week. We camped at McCall RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Our second stay here and still very good. Everything clean and well maintained. The clubhouse with indoor pool/hot tub is nice. Our only negative is inability to connect to satelite tv. Many sites have trees that block your signal and the cable tv is somewhat limited. No HLN no HGTV etc. and ALL are analog....not high def and not even digital. We were a bit disappointed in this park. The people were very friendly so that wasn't it. The park was not terribly busy as it was early in the season. There was construction going on as they are adding sites. The first place they put us was very close to another site and we were not comfortable as we have two dogs and didn't want our dogs to be barking at them when they were out on the patio. So we asked to be moved and they were very accommodating, however we ended up in an area where I think the employees are put. Very narrow spot and very tight due to trees. There were plenty of other, nicer empty spots. The park itself is very nicely maintained and the grounds are very nice as well. We camped at McCall RV Resort in a Motorhome.
