Beautiful park with lots of greenery. Sites are far enough apart for privacy and varying levels ensure nobody is looking right in your windows. WiFi is a little spotty but works. We got site 78 looking out on the river. Will upload photo if I can figure out how to do it. Walk into "downtown" is about a mile along bike path. Will definitely come again!!! We camped at McCall RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Loved McCall RV Resort. Staff goes above and beyond to assist in any way. Sites very spacious. This was our first visit but won't be our last. Stayed two weeks so received the discounted weekly rate. Pull in river site was beautiful. Loved it! We camped at McCall RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

We've stayed here several times over the last few years, including my wife staying here during a three month temporary job assignment in town, and it is such a great park run by great folks. We stay in the upper loop, where the spaces are gravel and grass, but level. There are a dozen 'Park Model' units up there, and the park is adding more spaces down by the river. They include very basic cable TV (Ch 2-40) at each site and WiFi is hosted by TengoInternet. I never got a speed test faster than 5Mbps, but ping rates were excellent. AT&T and Sprint both had great cell coverage with 4G LTE and we had clear sightlines to use our Dish Network. The pool, hot tub, laundry and meeting facilities are excellent, and the exercise equipment is adequate for most peoples needs. The grounds are nearly immaculate, we saw raccoons, foxes and deer foraging in or around the park (so don't leave food outside your RV). The nearby Brew house hosts bands on the weekends, so you'll often hear some good music as you sit outside on weekend evenings. There are plenty of local restaurants that serve just about everything you'd like, especially during the tourist season. If you want to cook for yourself, one of the two local groceries has become an Albertsons, bringing a Starbucks to town. That said, the other one has much better maple bars. Just bring your propane grill, as charcoal and wood fires are not permitted. The only down side to staying here is the airport. It might not be a big deal to most folks, and wasn't that bad for us since we used to live in the glide path for a Naval Air Station, but for light sleepers I'd suggest you reserve a spot in the lower section unless you can sleep through the howl of piston or even jet engines as a private (or 'puddle-jumper' commercial) plane takes off. That said, don't let it dissuade you because it is not that frequent unless there is a special event - like the recent solar eclipse that had people flying in from around the region. We camped at McCall RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Must hit 'Ice Cream Alley' for dessert! It is a literal hole-in-the-wall spot in town, and only open during the summer.

Our second stay here and still very good. Everything clean and well maintained. The clubhouse with indoor pool/hot tub is nice. Our only negative is inability to connect to satelite tv. Many sites have trees that block your signal and the cable tv is somewhat limited. No HLN no HGTV etc. and ALL are analog....not high def and not even digital. We camped at McCall RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Beautiful resort. Spacious sites. Friendly staff. This is an exceptional resort. We came for 4 nights and ended up staying 2 weeks. Be sure to call for reservations because they stay booked. Since we had not called ahead, we ended up having to move to different sited, but the staff was great about finding us a place to move! We camped at McCall RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This campground provides excellent service. Trash is picked up every day and packages are delivered to the rig. The staff is friendly and professional. A very classy resort. It is very nice that they have pool hours for adults only. The facility is kept immaculate except for the laundry room which needed a good dusting. Plenty of washers and dryers and the cost is $1.50 to wash and 25 cents for 10 minutes of drying time. Wifi signal is fair but drops constantly. Our T-Mobile had consistant 3-4 bar signal. The afternoon sun is brutal which we believe to be how the campsites are situated. Come prepared with shade screen for the afternoon sun. There are some nice walking trails around the campground. We will definitely come back for another week. We camped at McCall RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Super park. Price reflects GS weekly rate. Just a beautiful place. Indoor pool and workout area. Good walking for humans and dogs!! They offered live entertainment one night while we were there that we really enjoyed. Folks running the campground were just awesome. We will most definitely return when passing through this part of Idaho. Good satellite and verizon. There was some construction on the far end of the park as new sites are going in. Our site was between two cabins and a pull in/back out. Great view! We camped at McCall RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Love this RV park. It's set up beautifully, with different elevations, and the sites are clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed walking the property in the evening and our dog liked the dog run near the clubhouse. McCall is a gorgeous area, and wish we could have stayed longer. We have a 42ft motorhome and the site was easy to get in and out of, and we had room for our vehicle as well. We camped at McCall RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Second time staying here!! Beautiful grounds, extremely clean, nice indoor pool and hot tub. Staff very helpful, help get you to your site. Trash pickup each morning and propane available. LOTS of deer right in park. Nice easy walking. Close to Payette Lake, resturants and shopping. Cell service good, Wi-Fi available but not real great. Nice experience! We were a bit disappointed in this park. The people were very friendly so that wasn't it. The park was not terribly busy as it was early in the season. There was construction going on as they are adding sites. The first place they put us was very close to another site and we were not comfortable as we have two dogs and didn't want our dogs to be barking at them when they were out on the patio. So we asked to be moved and they were very accommodating, however we ended up in an area where I think the employees are put. Very narrow spot and very tight due to trees. There were plenty of other, nicer empty spots. The park itself is very nicely maintained and the grounds are very nice as well. We camped at McCall RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Nature all around. We camped by the lake. It was so beautiful. Foxes and deer all around us. Places to walk around the park. Only complaint was When we leveled out our motorhome in the site we stayed in the sewer hookup was below our elevation so we had to dump in the pull through dump area at the entrance of the park. Would stay here again. We camped at McCall RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This park is one of our favorites. It was roomy, quiet and has nice views of the surrounding area. Close enough to town, yet in an out of the way place for that country feeling!

The staff was helpful and friendly.

Had great pizza at Growlers. Enjoyed the location of Broken Horn Brewery, it's right outside the gates of the park.

This is a quiet, beautiful, well maintained RV park that is located within walking distance of the Payette river. The park has a resident group of deer and red fox that greet you upon arrival. The staff is exceptionally nice and helpful. The indoor pool and steam room is heaven. The lodge is spacious and kept cozy with a wood burning fireplace. We consider this park in the top 5 of all RV parks we have been too. Laundry faciilites are top notch. There is a small airport nearby and occasionally you will hear small aircraft departing but it's very tolerable. The area is beautiful and well worth a visit. We camped at McCall RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

McCall is quite small with limited services but Payette lake is beautiful. Sour dough pancakes at the pancake house are simply the best and Stax is the best sandwich shop in town. Day trips to the Salmon River, Payette River, and snake river are awesome, especially the Hells Canyon Jet boat trip with Kilgore Adventures.

I love this park! Owned by G-7, run by happy, helpful people who are always around to help, offer advise, or answer questions.

Everything is immaculately! The covered pool is so nice for the swimmer and for noise reduction throughout the park. The RV spaces are wide. Garbage is collected from your site quickly. The plants and flowers look healthy. It is located close enough to town and far enough away that campers can relax outside and enjoy the quiet.

They escort you to your site and make sure everything is satisfactory before leaving.

There are cabins as well which makes it a good meeting place. We camped at McCall RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
