Oct 2016 - $41.00
Before we paid, I specifically asked about the internet, as I was under a deadline. The office told me, "No problem." But when I tried to connect, I couldn't even send an email. Had to find alternative access, which also cost me extra. The only reason we went to the KOA was we thought it, of all places, would have good internet. WIFI is a joke there. When I complained, they could not have cared less.
Typical KOA: over-priced, packed-in, but clean. - wereview
Aug 2016 - $36.00
They have a nice little park here, though like most KOAs you are packed in pretty tightly. The staff seemed very helpful at first, but then they showed how little they care about the people that stay there. I had booked for a longer time, but due to the no refund policy, I asked to pay for only the first two weeks while I tried to get closer to where I was working. Instead, they changed my reservation to end the last day I paid for and didn't tell me. I had to scramble to find somewhere else to go for the last 12 days of my reservation. The place is clean, the WiFi is horrible, and the staff are uncaring for the visitors since they know they'll be able to replace you since there are so few options in the area. Best tip I can give is to stay somewhere else. - Camping Marine
Jul 2016 - $36.00
Rate was for a week for a 30 amp site. Park has many long term sites around the edges. Sites for both large and smaller rigs require careful parking of your tow or truck. This is especially true in the overnight 30 amp area. As mentioned earlier, several roads are very narrow with vehicles sticking out into the roads from sites. - GerMarV
Aug 2016 - $26.00
We stayed in this park in 2011. It was a great little park. So, coming through this area again, we chose to stay here for an overnighter. What a mistake. We should have checked the reviews on this site first. Fortunately for us, we got the best site in the park. First spot, last row right near a large grassy area. But, unless you like a real run down park with probably 98% questionable live-ins, I would suggest you find a better park to stay in. Even for one night. Can't wait to leave tomorrow. - PJD
Jun 2015 - $25.00
we rang and originally booked for 3 nights. The office was closed when we arrived and we noticed the local Sheriff parked at the gate (incidentally he was parked there the entire time we were in the park)
The Park is mostly long term , questionable tenants and run down trailers RV's with rubbish all over the place.
The pull through site was VERY tight for our RV and we required assistance to get it in. The park manager and his partner were very helpful (thus the 3 star for service)
We did not feel safe in this RV park and decided at 5 am to leave and find another park more to our taste and comfort level.
The office didn't open until 11 am, so we left our credit card number for the one night payment - we should have received the Good Sam discount, however upon looking at our credit card this morning, we see it was processed for the full nightly amount.
We would definitely not stay here again. - Keez
Jun 2015 - $20.00
We stayed here last year and tolerated the barking dogs and questionable long-term residents, but when we returned this year things had deteriorated. Dog poo in our tiny yard meant we had to step carefully every time we went from our rig to toad and back. A neighbor's dog barking woke us from a sound sleep, then a loud conversation kept us from falling back asleep. A neighbor rear-ended his own fifth wheel with his car, knocking it off its jacks, so we worried it could teeter over onto our rig. We also worried about him missing his rig one night and hitting ours, so we moved. We'd prepaid three more days but weren't offered a refund. Wifi wasn't working the few days we were there and the manager (owner?) didn't seem interested in getting it back up and running. This location is mostly a long-term RV park for local workers -- not a place I'd recommend for active travelers. - ellenbenr
Sep 2016 - $28.00
All staff was friendly and most helpful. Office staff provided maps and information on local attractions. We stayed in a W&E back-in site next to the river trail, as that was all they had available during our 5 day stay. Those sites are very close together, although you could hang out with some privacy at the rear of your rig, facing the trail and in the shade. It seemed like the pull-through sites are saved for those staying at least a week. The best feature for us was that it was right on the Boise River Trail, allowing us to ride our bikes to downtown (10 miles round trip). Very nice trail. - Pharmboy
Sep 2016 - $36.00
The park is mostly permanent residents. It is a gravel parking lot with dilapidated/broken cement patios. The patios in the section for overnighters and visitors do not necessarily correspond to the position of the MH. Cable/phone boxes are sometimes in the way of getting slides out.
The location is great for a visit to Boise. It provided easy access to the entertainment district and downtown. It is along the greenbelt with fishing, biking, and walking right at your front door. - Sidehill
Sep 2016 - $28.00
Our first night was spent in a Long Term site, in the dust bowl, next to the stream. The next morning we were able to move to the pull through sites in the front rows. These sites feature full hookups, a strip between your RV and the tow vehicle parking which is concrete walkway and grass. Plenty of room. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The River Walk is just a few steps away and great stuff...including the Cormorant Rookery. The fairgrounds were pretty quiet during our stay, late in the season. This is a handy location, near major stores and amenities. We enjoy our stays here and will return when in the area. - SilverBear
Sep 2016 - $37.00
It is a bit of a struggle to get from the expressway to the campsight which is located in a residential area with some nice parks close by. Several surface streets to traverse and tough in afternoon traffic.
The reward is the campground - the widest in park streets I have ever seen. Easy to pull into the sites and get out.
About 25% are long term and are all neat except for one guy that was growing a jungle of vines which had almost covered his entire camper - must be an old hippy!
Great staff, park is kept very clean and it is quiet.
WiFi was good and so was Verizon. - Larry Jenkins
Aug 2016 - $37.00
You will be escorted to your site for parking guidance. This is necessary, otherwise your slide-out could touch your neighbors awning, or your own awning reaches your other neighbors slide-out. Yes, sites are close together.
Despite this, we would come back.
Good service (waste pick-up at your site) and the park is very clean. Small pool area compared to the pet park. Nice recreation hall.
This RV park is worth the money! - Bluesbirdy
Aug 2016 - $37.00
Nicely laid out. Pull-through row was a little close, but had ample slides and awning room. Nice grass , concrete patio, level good gravel site. Baths were super, clean, private rooms, laundry large, fair cost, less than most. WiFi...well, you know how that goes, but adequate mostly. Out of the business of Boise, but easy to access all. We would come back. - ToniB
Sep 2012 - $26.00
When we pulled in the office was closed for the long weekend so it was self check in. We drove through the site which was dirt roads and dirt sites. The park was almost full of permanent residents and really unappealing. We left and really would not recommend it. - Terry G
Aug 2012 - $25.00
This RV Park is dominated by the rudest manager I have ever come across. Non professional, lacks people skills downright mean lady. She locks down the bathrooms and told me, "Too bad. You live in a RV use the damn thing!" She lies and says she is the owner of the park, not allowing anyone to complain to higher ups. The park is dirty. Its a park that people use to live at, with all their corresponding junk and cars. I would not stay here again if it was the last spot on God's green earth. - mrsnoose
Mar 2012 - $18.00
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this park. The Manager was very nice and the restrooms, showers and laundry were updated as well as always clean and tidy! We'll stay there anytime we are anywhere near Nampa, Idaho. - RV On The Move
Sep 2014 - $15.00
For DOD/Military employees/retirees ONLY. 7 Sites. Great place for overnight stay. No amenities except for full hookups which worked well. Sites are level and paved but close together, easy access back-in sites. Restroom and Showers are not available. Some airport noise but not bad, otherwise very quite and safe (inside base). We would definitely stay here again - on the road 65
Nov 2013 - $10.00
This was our first stop on a trip from Joint Base Lewis McChord, WA to my new duty station at Fort Campbell, KY. Truly a wonderful find! At only $10.00 per night you get full hookup in a secured area, Air Force Security Forces man the gates, free laundry, access to a small Post Exchange, and just an overall nice place to stay. I made reservations, hard to come by for military camps as many are first come first serve. The lady was very courteous on the phone and related they would leave the keys to the power box on my site, site "F" if we were going to be a late arrival. We rolled in close to 2300 (11 PM for your military types) and there was a young, sharp Airman manning the front gate who within 30 seconds, checked our ID's (required to get on base) and had us on our way. The base itself is quite small when compared to Active Duty installations. This was very helpful though as we navigated the streets to the campground at night. As mentioned in a previous review, the campground is not a resort but provides concrete pads (ours was cracked on the back end) but leveling was not a problem as we were only staying the night and remained hooked up to the truck. I was able to place my 2011 F150 6.5 SuperCrew and Jayco 29QBH on the site without sticking out in the road. This did require backing up the absolute max distance. Hook ups are well maintained and sites are clean. Exercise field with a pavilion were close by as was a fitness center. Nice open field allowed me to run my dogs (with poop bags at the ready of course). Overall this would be a great place to stay to explore the area and the price simply cannot be beat. Very thankful for this benefit of being a Service Member. - Jim in WA
Jul 2013 - $10.00
I rated this place pretty high because of the price ($10) for full hookups and the fact there is free laundry and close access to the fitness center. This has been a very good stop over for us for a week. My WiFi/internet and satellite TV worked well here. The staff were very friendly and helpful when we made the reservations and checked in. I was able to wash and wax my RV which was nice. The full hookups included concrete pad. The campground/parking is on the edge of the compound and is what I would call a modest facility. But it works for us and we would come here again. - rwarner22
Sep 2016 - $33.00
Super friendly, helpful owners live on site. Very clean and well kept. Sites fairly close with shade trees. Quite a few long term/permanent residents. The residents were quiet but the campground sits between a freeway and an airport so there is always traffic noise. Easy in and out. Good OTA tv reception. Good Verizon connection. All pullthru sites. Very tight but maneuverable roads and sites. Clean laundry room. I would stay here again. - camper19709
Sep 2016 - $34.00
We have stayed here before and while it's a very tight park, found the service and convenience excellent for an overnight stay. Owners were very friendly and helpful. My only gripe was that the Wifi didn't work. Laptop hooked up to their server but the server wasn't communicating with the internet, so no connection. Over the air TV worked well with more than 10 channels. - blokeman
Jul 2016 - $34.00
Very nice park convenient to all Boise sites. Restrooms exceptional. Showers the largest I've seen. Hosts are very friendly and helpful with directions to things to do in Boise. It was hot! while we were here and the watering of grass at each site was a nice cooling help. - m&s
Jan 2017 - $36.00
Due to our arriving in a snowstorm, our space needed snow removal. It was ready when we arrived, utilities and facilities were all functional as well. Ample staff were friendly and helpful. Laundry and showers were clean. Each shower room was coded access. Park WiFi was a bit slow. - a67rve
Oct 2016 - $33.00
Very clean and roomy park. Easy to get our 40 foot bus set up. Pull through sites. Nice paved area to walk dogs. Staff is super nice and accommodating!! Would definitely stay here again. - KellyLynnHoff
Oct 2016 - $36.00
This park gets it right. Off the freeway and quiet. Very clean and well kept up with wide streets and long pull through spaces with patio and grass in between. The personnel are wonderful and helpful. This is our go-to park in the area and will continue to be. - Bob and Pat
Oct 2016 - $18.00
Very old park, lots of permanent people in old trailers. But we felt safe it was mostly quiet, you could hear trains quite often. We had a nice pull through facing the lake. Ducks and squirrels.
Its a good deal for the price. - Peter - Vickie
Aug 2016 - $26.00
Worst place we ever stayed we stayed in a forty ft motor home. We were going to stay two nights, pulled out after first night, did not feel safe. Cops were coming through all hours of the night & firetrucks were in there checking things out It was almost like a homeless camp. Took my dog for a walk around the park, seen all kinds of nasty stuff along the borders of the property. I slept with my pistol not under my pillow but on top of the pillow, pretty rough looking place. My advice pass this place by. Would not ever stay here again. - DandMandS
Jun 2016 - $27.00
This is an inexpensive trailer park for permanent residents with a couple of short, 30 amp, pull-through sites for overnight guests. Bathrooms, showers, and laundry were dated but fairly clean. WiFi worked well.
I would not stay here again. - JoyceM
Dec 2016 - $35.00
I was a monthly guest at this RV place. The place is nice but there are so many changes going on right now that don't make sense. They changed the days to get propane to only 2 days a week and the guy is never even there to do it. The management is absolutely horrible and never in the office. And they kick people out for no reason. The office lady is really nice and the other people that work there, but the manager and her husband are very rude and disrespectful and is never there when needed. They don't like kids here, so don't bring your kids with you. They are mean to them. - BE3R-S13
Sep 2016 - $35.00
This was an awesome campground! It appears to be fairly new and very excellently maintained. This is the best place we stayed on our month long trip. I rarely give a 10/10 but this was it. A beautiful meeting room, really nice showers and laundry room with many washers and dryers. We stayed 2 nights here. Wish they were all like this. Check in was organized and very efficient. They have a night manager on the premises and he was nice. - Peggy Mead
Sep 2016 - $36.00
Park is very well maintained. Management is very nice. Good wifi. BUT don't stay here if you are a light sleeper. There are railroad tracks nearby and we were awakened every 2 hours throughout the night when the trains going by would blow their whistle. And the whistle was not a couple of short toots but long drawn out repeated whistles. Impossible to sleep! Could also hear road noise from the nearby freeway. - Sven555
