This is still my most favorite RV park heading down south and going home. I love that they have trees on many sights, and many other sights with small football-size-fields of lawn! Credit and Kudos belong to the original owners & designers for achieving an almost perfect RV park. Great layout, easy in &out, helpful courteous staff, really clean, quiet and peaceful. Travelling solo means l prefer to go where 'technology' has been embraced [ie: GPS; excellent WiFi; ALL & updated amenities] especially since the dog refuses to drive or read a map! l need all this to make "my" experience a planned luxurious layover - and the price is still bang for your buck. Health dictates my travel itinerary so l do not make reservations and l have always been welcomed the last 4 years. The WiFi has become streamlined and has been infallible the last 3 times l've stayed - possibly G7 made that happen(?) Heavy emphasis that there are 2 RV parks in area with Mountain Home in the name - make sure you are at the right one. We camped at Mountain Home RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This park should be held as a positive example to all other parks... Clean, paved lots with very green grass, tables, power, water, dump, level, and incredible staff/host. Nice warm swimming pool, enclosed dog area, rec room, plus, plus, plus.. Escorted to our site. This is our third stay here.... we will be back. Talked to a friendly neighbor and identified our next RV.... We camped at Mountain Home RV Park in a Truck Camper.

We stayed 2 nights here. This RV resort fits the definition of the words - spacious, well landscaped, concrete level sites on wide access roads. Amenities include a nice office, pleasant dog park, hot tub and pool. Convenient off I-84 but no road noise. We would definitely stay here again. Managers had no problem with washing our coach on site, which was appreciated with weather we had experienced. We camped at Mountain Home RV Park in a Motorhome.

We had a level pull through site with plenty of room for a 42' fifth wheel, two motorcycles and our truck. Nice strip of grass with two trees provided a shady spot to sit outdoors. Laundry facilities were clean and reasonably priced. The bathrooms are individual rooms with toilet, sink and shower. Campground provides a clean bath mat of each user. The dog park is large enough for large or small dogs to run. There is a pool and spa but we did not use them. The staff was helpful and really made us feel welcome. This was a two night stop over that we extended to a week just so we could relax and tour the area. We would stay here again. We camped at Mountain Home RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a bike trail (short but sweet) near the Walmart. Bruneau Dunes park for an early morning hike. Take a drive on the scenic 1000 Springs Highway and stop at the hot springs at Buhl. Follow the Old Oregon Trail and visit Three Island Park. Pack a picnic lunch for any of these day trips. Rv park map has more day trips listed on the cover.

This is how an RV park should be done! The spaces are wide and level, good length to where you really don't have to disconnect if you have an average sized rig. The hook ups are centered on the sites for maximum compatibility. They have group sites and individual sites and the park is extremely well maintained. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and they go above and beyond (even bringing your propane to you! Yes they have a propane fill station!) They have a good playground and although we stayed too early in the year for the pool it's situated nicely. The kids really enjoyed this park as they were free to ride their bikes and play so long as we could see them. Every g7 resort we've stayed at has upheld this same level of great! We camped at Mountain Home RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Everyone very friendly. Sites are large and spacious. Roads easy to navigate, plenty wide. This park was designed by someone who knows RVing which is unusual. We will definitely stay here again. WIFI and cable were outstanding. I very seldom give a 10 but this park deserves it. We camped at Mountain Home RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

High-end clean Big Rig RV Park ~ manicured ~ Little Rig RV's ok too. We camp in a "Tear Drop" style RV only 15' long w/o toilet or shower ~ plus we like to eat outdoors using the picnic table and set up our dining canopy for sun and weather protection and thus rely on condition of campgrounds facilities and being nearby our site ~ so our critique is focused in that area. We are return guests ~ several times; it's one of the nicest rv parks on all of I-84 - but it's not a campground and I believe they do not allow tents. Their restroom/shower/laundry facilities deserve a 5 star, very clean, very modern, and laid out in roomy 9x10 individual & private "home bathroom" style rooms each with a sink, toilet, shower stall, bench, shelf for your stuff, hooks for your clothes and towel, + a bonus towel bath mat for your feet as you exit the shower. Cooled by AC in summer months and heated during cooler months. Rest of facilities also a 5 star paved interior roads, paved (level) site pads all pull through w/extension patio, picnic table, young shade trees, large lush grassy green-space between other sites, w/privacy fence between, full hookups w/cable and in-ground irrigation sprinklers, and of course a sparkling clean swimming pool All this for extremely reasonable price w/Good Sam Discount - believe me you'd pay mush for much less at other parks. We camped at Mountain Home RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
