There are a lot of back in to the river and a few pull through. Neat and tidy. Food and small grocery store near by. The road you turn onto is the parking lot of the hardware store. No obvious signs, but worth the try. No amenities no dog run but can walk all over park. We would stay again if in the area. No AT&T cell Service or internet. Had to depend on their WiFi. We camped at Clearwater Crossing RV Park in a Motorhome.

Park is in town right on the Clearwater River Banks. All site overlook the river. I had a pull/thru FHU for my 42' 5th wheel. I had plenty of room for both the RV & Truck. Back in sites are gravel & pull/thru's are black top. Each site has a concrete patio and picnic table. The showers and laundry are up to date and very clean. They have cable TV and I was able to use my dish along with good wi-fi. Sites are level and the park is easy to get around in. The park is well kept, except for a few full time renters that have messy sites. Park is located in a beautiful area of ID. We camped at Clearwater Crossing RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Most of the sites at this RV park are along the river. We were at a back-in site along the river edge for a week. The ground is well kept but cleanliness and neatness at some permanent sites are not enforced as we saw one with a mattress under the rig and others appeared trashy. Every site has a concrete pad and a picnic table. Trees are at each site by the river's edge and provide some shade from the afternoon sun but most of them are not mature enough to block the afternoon sun from heating up the rig. Unfortunately the awning does not help except during the high noon. The laundry room is small with three washers and dryers and very well maintained. Each washer load costs $1.50 and dryer load costs $1. We had T-Mobile and couldn't get any reception during our stay. The wifi signal is strong but connection drops constantly. We won't be returning to this campground because of the unreliable communication with the outside world made this campground undesirable for us. We camped at Clearwater Crossing RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This campground is within walking distance to the city park which has farmers market on Tuesdays. We had a very nice view of the fireworks from our site.

I'm a full-time RVer. I stayed a week in order to re-tool and allow mail to catch up to me. Stayed in a river-front, pull-through space with plenty of room for both trailer & truck. Management staff was very helpful & friendly, suggesting local restaurants and things to see. Facilities were always clean and well maintained. Laundry room was very handy & reasonable. Only downside was the entrance (through a local hardware store parking lot) and kind of rough road. I would definitely stay again. We camped at Clearwater Crossing RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

This is a fairly well maintained campground, staff were friendly and helpful at check in. Interior roads are asphalt and big rig access is good. Our site was paved and we had a spacious level pull through with space for our towed, not a lot of privacy between sites though. There was a concrete patio with a picnic table, no shade trees, but other sites had them. We had a wonderful view of the Clearwater River, and we found the campground to be very quiet, we were here for three days and heard no trains. There are some long term residents, but their sites were neat and tidy. Bathrooms were modern and very clean and the laundry was well equipped and clean too. Pet friendly with pick up bags but no disposal station. Wifi was poor and AT&T signal was non existent. There are a couple of food stores in Orofino as well as a few restaurants. We would stay here again, however the campground does get very full at the beginning of October, the start of fishing and hunting season. We camped at Clearwater Crossing RV Park in a Motorhome.

The folks managing this park are friendly, but they don't seem particularly customer oriented. The park is big rig friendly, but you do have to cross a railroad track just before entering the park. We were at the park for 7 days and the train came through twice. The interior road of the park is asphalt. Most of the sites are back-in, but there are a few pull-through sites. The back-in sites are gravel, the pull-throughs are asphalt, with full hookups and cable, a concrete patio and picnic table. Our site was level. Most sites back up to or overlook the Clearwater River. A previous reviewer mentioned high water pressure, but that was not our experience. Water pressure was low at our site. It is an easy walk into Orofino from the park. Verizon data and cell service worked well. Although this park is listed as a Passport America participant, we were told - "they" don't want to accept it any more - when we attempted to use it for one night. If that's the case, then put a sign on the office door or alert Passport America so they can note it on their site that you no longer wish to participate. We camped at Clearwater Crossing RV Park in a Motorhome.

I returned to this park twice in September, my 5th and 6th visits here. Paved roads, ample sized level, gravel sites with reliable full hookups. Clean hot showers and reasonably fast wifi. I like having the river outside my backdoor, and, being able to walk into Orofino for dinner. We camped at Clearwater Crossing RV Park in a Truck Camper.

This was one of my favorite parks from our whole trip. It is right on the Clearwater River. The sites are spacious and very nice. Each has it's own picnic table. The manager was very friendly and helpful. The laundry facility very nice. There is a beautiful park about a block away and the kids enjoyed the water spouts on a hot day. We really enjoyed our time there and would definitely go back if we were in the area. We camped at Clearwater Crossing RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park offers a one night Sunday through Thursday Passport America discount, since we arrived on Friday we used our Good Sam discount for Friday and Saturday we said we would like to use our passport discount for Sunday and they refused it. I'm not sure if the management here understands what it means to except these club cards but that is the sole reason we pick this campground, when they refused to except the PA card for one night even though it says they except it then we refused to stay here on Sunday night. Keep in mind these cards were not combined it was either one or the other for the nights that we stayed here so out of principle I chose to move on on Sunday and not patronize this park. This park has a lot to offer very clean, management is nice has great views of the river but refuses to except the cards that brings the people to this park they were only half full it wasn't a issue of we don't have room. Next time we're in the area I will call ahead instead of pulling in to see if their policy remains the same if it does then we will continue on our journey and not stop. We camped at Clearwater Crossing RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a nice park where site selection makes it average or well above. We'd been here before, so selected a long pull thru site (21) across from the office. This gave us an unobstructed view of the river, large area with landscaping, and a table. The host is a sweet lady who stopped by to make sure we had everything we needed. No train noise while we were there, and not much interior traffic. WiFi and cable were good, and Verizon cell/4G worked well. No obstructions to the TV satellites. Access requires driving through the hardware store parking lot and across uneven railroad tracks with a short dusty section, but take it slow and it's no problem. We'll stay here again. Don't be put off by entry. You cross a seldom used RR siding track that is a little rough and then enter a park that appears to be almost brand new. Most spaces backup to and overlook the Clearwater River. Sites are blacktop, new and level. Water pressure is excellent. WiFi very good. The manager very nice and helpful, (likes to talk). $5.00 to wash your rig and toad. In short a very nice park. Good phone reception on Verizon. One of the nicer stopover parks going west from Missoula on Highway 12. Water pressure rated at 80 lbs so use a reducer. Note: Never heard a train over the two days we were here. A pleasant two day rest stop. We camped at Clearwater Crossing RV Park in a Motorhome.

The site was clean and close to the river. The sites are located pretty close together. Marge (camp host) was really nice, but was never in the office. We finally went to her camper and asked for what we needed. The bathrooms were really nice as well as the showers. The women's bathroom had a strong mildew odor. According to the men in my family, the men's bathroom didn't smell at all. It was a beautiful view, and the train behind only comes a couple of times a week and so we never heard it. If you are staying for the night and going somewhere else, it was very nice. If you want to camp go somewhere else. Biggest disappointment was that there were no fire pits. Even though, on their page it claims to. We camped at Clearwater Crossing RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

All sites are on the river. ( site 16) There are several "residents" that are on both ends of the park; was told they work at the lumber mill. At times you also feel like you are on a Main Street since there is a business at the end of the park. Several utility vehicles and front loaders going thru, but surprisingly the park was very quiet. We had a reservation for a week and at check in we're told there was a $1.50 daily fee for cable- didn't argue it. Came in handy on the two rainy days. Park host is great and lives on site. Showers were clean, handicap accessible and had a door that locked for privacy. Very nice. Laundry- washer $1.50/dryer $1.00. We camped at Clearwater Crossing RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We were here several years ago and stayed here one weeknight at the end of July on this trip. We had one of the horizontal, FHU, pull-through sites 20' from the river. Our site was level, gravel, and had 50 channel cable TV. The 802.11 network was fine in the RV - possibly because the park was less than half full. Some of the 20 or so customers may have been extended stay. It is an easy walk into the center of town but a little less so on the day of our visit - it was over 100F. I was tempted to wade in the river and probably would have if I were 20 years younger and more sure footed. Orofino is a small town on the Clearwater River situated between sloping tree covered sloped hills - very scenic. The bathrooms and laundry are OK. I saw no sign of any recycling. We camped at Clearwater Crossing RV Park in a Motorhome.
