We were chased off the road by cold weather and rain, and this was a welcome site. Close to the center of town and convenient to everything. Showers and rest room were very clean and new. We camped at Cowboy RV Park in a Truck Camper.

Given the reviews, did not expect such a nice overnight stop. Checkin good, utilities good (no cable but OTA HD tv works fine), good Internet, good Verizon cell service. Even got some shade at our campsite on a 100 degree day. Good overnight stop. Would stay here again. We camped at Cowboy RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tidy RV park. Very friendly staff at check in, clean grounds and washrooms. Many sites had some shade. Amazingly fast wifi, the desk staff actually suggested streaming movies. You can hear the freeway traffic at night, though it's not terribly loud. Some of the sites made for difficult sideways leveling and we had to move from the first one to another. Stayed for the night as passing through. Would stay here again. We camped at Cowboy RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Although we didn't use any of the facilities we found this park extremely clean. The weather was snowy, the site was concrete with full hook-ups. Due to the weather we basically just sat in the rv for the night. I would go back if ever in the area. We camped at Cowboy RV Park in a Motorhome.

Felt a little tight - spaces are close together. But had no problems hooking up, extending awning, etc. Our wifi worked sporadically. Stayed here one night on way to Tetons plus another night on way back. We camped here in a 32' travel trailer. Would stay here again. We camped at Cowboy RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

How do you make a site longer than it is? Just say it's longer. That this park is neat and clean couldn't make up for the fact that the definition of a pull in site behind another occupant is undefined and can be described as able to accommodate a 40ft motorhome when it really isn't. We prefer an RV park to Walmart, but the choice here would be difficult, if we needed a place to stay again in Pocatello. We camped at Cowboy RV Park in a Motorhome.

Not many good options in Pocatello. This park is OK if you need a place to spend a night or two. Good stuff: VERY clean bathrooms/showers/laundry/office area. Utilities were all good including park wifi (some sewer connections may be a stretch for standard user hoses. I needed 3 lengths to make a connection). Access to sites on decent roads, sites a reasonable length. Office staff friendly. Not far from I-15. Not so good: grass area consisted of dirt spots and a variety of green weeds...no apparent attention paid to grounds maintenance. A good number of apparent long-termers occupy the outer ring of sites which for the most part are not all that pleasant to view and seem to be home to barking dogs. Some sites are tandem which could be a problem for those hauling trailers if you're in the number 2 position behind another rig (I believe the office staff will work around this if you let them know ahead of time). We camped at Cowboy RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Lots of new retail development in the north end of the city just south of I-86. Walmart, Costco, fast food, chain restaurants, etc.

About a 10-15 drive to the Portneuf Health Center Ampitheater (Outdoor concerts), and the fairgrounds.

Our space was so beyond the ability of our coach to level. This is a tight, close to your neighbor type park. Most of your neighbors will have been here a while. One night one of them used a grinder to make something. Sounded like they were grinding metal. This noise went on for quite a while. Tight interior roads. We paid for three nights and only stayed two. We camped at Cowboy RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed overnight. The asphalt space was not very level and we needed 3" of leveling on one side. But, this park is better than the KOA in Pocatello, which only has 30A service and is dirt. We camped at Cowboy RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Easy access off the freeway but set back far enough that there is no highway noise. The entrance is not well marked and there are three....take the first one you see. Large registration queue and friendly staff. Most sites are buddy sites with two rigs per pad. We were in site 31, which was a true single pull thru, which was nice, but was not level and our rear passenger side tire was off the ground after leveling, first time this has happened. Interior roads a little tight but manageable. Utilities were fine. Restrooms and laundry were nice. Morning coffee and afternoon cookies. May need a tailgater to get satellite. They need another dumpster.. Filled up early on the weekend and was overflowing by Monday. We camped at Cowboy RV Park in a Motorhome.

Bring extra sewer hoses and make a reservation! As stated, the sites are connected to one another which requires extra sewer hose. The lawn is dead, roads are tight, and they fill up quickly. If you are a large rig make sure you call ahead for one of their pull-thru sites. There is no sign showing where to turn once you get off the freeway. Look for 'Barton' street and you will go right to the place. The sites are not level so be prepared to wiggle around to try and get your rig leveled out. We camped at Cowboy RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for one night in a 45' motorhome with a tow. Nice shady spots but a little cramped. The location of the park was a few miles off the interstate but not too hard to find. If we were staying here for more than a couple of days I would look for a campsite that offers more room between parking spots. We didn't use the facilities or internet so I can't comment. The flip side of being a few miles off the interstate is that you are closer to town and Idaho State University if that is important to you. One recommendation...eat at Elmers. Good old fashioned home-style cooking. Right across the street from the University. We camped at Cowboy RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is an unusual park layout. For their overnighters they have 120' long paved pull throughs. If you have a trailer or fifth wheel and get there early you simply pull into the forward slot on the pad with MH's pulling in behind you. Our first stop we had to back into the space as there was a class "C" already taking up the rear slot. It was a little tight to back into the space, but I've been backing trailers for over 50 years so it wasn't too much of a problem for me. There was a late arriving fifth wheel that I watched for 15 minutes while he backed into his slot. Having said that this is a clean, friendly park making it a great one night stop. Which we did on the northbound trip to Canada and the return trip two weeks later. We would stay here again. We camped at Cowboy RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
