A beautiful county park! Ran into a "local" that comes frequently and said "shh, keep this a secret! We love it here!" Wonderful paved roads, lush green grass, well maintained, treed sites that are far apart from each other, a lake of course, even a basketball court! We were in Loop A, but our "local" suggested Loop C for even a better, more quiet area. We were only staying one night and had already found a great pull-thru, so didn't bother to check out Loop C. When we called the Park Host he had said, on a Sunday, it's pretty empty, just come on in and look at the "Reserved Signs" and check the dates, and pull into whatever is available. It's a honor system payment kiosk. I never saw anyone even come by and check to see if we paid or not. I suppose if we were staying longer, or over the weekend it would be different. Wished we were... We camped at Juniper Campground in a Motorhome.

Great park away from the city, but close enough if need to shop. Asphalt streets and pads. Would not hesitate to stay maximum 14 days. We camped at Juniper Campground in a Motorhome.

Last minute decision to camp here and a very correct decision was made. Perfect in every way. The sites are beautifully maintained (blacktop). Easy to get in and out. Lots of grassy areas and wooded paths. Windmills, lovely sunsets, potato fields, peaceful and serene. Can't ask for more! Distance to shopping in Idaho Falls not bad. Tetons and Jackson Hole not too far either. Great motorcycling in the mountains. A little drive but So worth it! We camped at Juniper Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

The park was beautifully maintained with plenty of room between campsites for privacy. We only stayed one night as we were passing through. The showers needed a little more cleaning but weren't terrible. It was near a reservoir that had boating and other activities. We would have liked to stay longer because it was peaceful and serene. We camped at Juniper Campground in a Motorhome.

This was an overnight stop on the way to Grand Teton National Park. Rate was for a spacious; FHU; 50 amp; pull-thru; paved; level site. We had good Verizon cell and internet reception and good DishTV reception. We would stay here again. We camped at Juniper Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We arrived at Juniper with a 4 day reservation. The park was impressively manicured and clean. It is a self check-in system. Get an envelope, deposit cash, and go to site. When we arrived, we learned that our car battery was dead. The manager of the park (who must remain nameless according to rules) offered to take us into town to get a new battery. Upon return, he refused to take our money for his kind service. The perfect condition of the park including water and sewer hook-ups, the price, as well as the generous manager, makes Juniper Campground a place to revisit. We camped at Juniper Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We took a day trip to the Grand Tetons from Juniper Campground. Ririe (pronounced Ry-ree) does not have much of anything other than the reservoir for boating. Idaho Falls restaurants and shopping are approximately 20 miles away, a straight shot down route 26.

The is an excellent location to view Idaho Falls, Jackson Hole and the Craters of the Moon. Located among miles of potato farms, this is quiet and serene. Junipers are very prevalent, thus the CG name. The RV park is also located on a beautiful reservoir. The CG manager worked hard keeping the park clean and mowed. Hookups were very good. We stayed here 1 week and enjoyed sightseeing and relaxing in the CG. If in the area again, we would definitely select this park. We camped at Juniper Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Good location to cross the Teton Pass and go directly into Jackson Hole. Easy drive. Our unique experience was the Craters of the Moon. Totally unique..very unusual to see the lava flows. Its worth the drive.

UPDATE FOR 2018... FHU site $25...NO discounts. This is a County park. All previous positive comments are spot on... beautiful spots...mostly 30amp. With a 45' and toad, there were plenty of room in lots of sites. Fills on weekends. We camped at Juniper Campground in a Motorhome.

An excellent place to spend a few days with huge pull-thru sites and full-hookup sites. We weren't able to contact the host, so we used this review site and selected a pull-thru in loop C for the $16 discounted fee (Golden Access Pass). Paved roads and sites, convenient hookups, and Verizon cell/data at our site. Dark and quiet at night. Some OTA TV but no obstructions to the satellites. A bit off the highway but worth it for the location. We camped at Juniper Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a great Produce Market (Scoreby's Market) in Idaho Falls. Lots of lovely falls to observe. Lovely city. Lots of shopping available if that is your thing. OTA channels PBS, ABC, CBS and a few less significant ones. We camped in a 36' motor home.

Really liked this campground a lot. Camp host was very friendly and helpful. The only negative was the restrooms needed cleaning and especially the shower. The curtain between the showers needs replaced, it was moldy and cob webs need to be cleaned up. Other than that it was great!! We camped at Juniper Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This is a beautiful county park located near Ririe reservoir. Your Senior Pass gets you a $16 daily rate. Lots of green grass in loops A and B. Sites spaced far apart. Loop C is all pull thru sites and is first-come-first-served. Loops A and B sites can be reserved. Starting next year, site fee will increase to $25 a day and no ATVs will be allowed. We camped at Juniper Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Not much to say. This is still a great campground in the Idaho Falls area. Full hookups, large sites, good cell service. Just a nice place, for $18 a night. Be cautious, as many sites a not level. B loop has the most level sites. We camped at Juniper Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We had a very pleasant stay here. Mind you we drove all the way from California to visit Yellowstone and Grand Tetons. Arrived before it got dark and were greeted by Bob who escorted us to our site. All Hook ups worked. Camp restrooms/showers were about 35 ft. walk. Clean site, clean Park. Traveled in a 33ft. 5th wheel. No problems getting in or parking. Not much to add to what the others have said. At $16 with America the Beautiful discount it's a bargain for a full hookup. The only con is a strong smell of bovine residue wafting through through the camp. Truck campers will find B-16 perfect. We camped at Juniper Campground in a Truck Camper.
