6 RV Parks near Rupert, Idaho
Aug 2016 - $37.00
We stopped here for a couple days because it was en route between other destinations. I think this would be a better fall or spring destination than summer, and I'd skip it altogether if you don't fish or kayak (there's no swimming at the lake).
No sewer at the sites, but there's a dump station at the entrance/exit of the park.
Summertime + water meant there were a lot of bugs, so we spent most of our time indoors, but we did enjoy watching the birds from our trailer and even saw a huge jack rabbit one evening. - Busy Camper
Jul 2016 - $25.00
The camp sites on the inner ring of the loop had the picnic tables (chained down), & fire rings on the back side of the trailer. Very inconenvient! Also, the site pads were not at all close to level (side to side, and front to back). Bring plenty of leveling blocks. Other than these items, it was a nice place to stay. - George48
Jun 2016 - $34.00
Price was per night ($33.62) for a non Idaho resident. Idaho residents pay $28.00. There are speed bumps on the entry road to the park. Easy in and out for big rigs, but don't drive into the park office parking lot (to the right of the entry fee station) since it would be difficult to turn around. I was told that the entry fee station is open only on weekends. If you visit during the week and want one night only, you can proceed to the campground, pick a site that's not reserved for that night, and self-pay near the camp host site. If you want multiple nights, you should stop at the park office. The campground is a loop, with sites on both sides of the loop, and there is a good amount of space between each site. Sites have 30 amp electric and water, with a dump station available. Sites and interior roads are asphalt, there are pull-throughs, back-ins, and double-wide sites. Some sites are partially shaded and others are full sun. Sites have a grill, fire pit and picnic table. The trees were planted such that they don't present a problem for parking. There isn't a view of the lake from the campground as there are large trees separating the two areas. There are several trails within the campground, and there is a wildlife management area adjacent to the campground. There are plenty of places to walk pets, but it did appear they have foxtail grass there. Our Verizon data and cell service worked fine. There is park internet, but skype and netflix are blocked. We had no OTA channels. Camp host was friendly. - Guinness
May 2018 - $10.00
I was heading to Colorado and needed a place to stay. This is the grassy area next to the lodge and next to the golf course. It was a great stay. I will say the road noise at night is noticeable. It was not a real problem for me but if you are looking for quiet, this may not be the place. Along with the camping fee, you get two drink tokens. Also, there is no sewer hookup so be prepared. Backing in was easy and there were no other RV at the lodge. - Cavtrooper
May 2018 - $20.00
Water and electric, parked right on co-located golf course. Very pretty, but quite noisy from traffic. Good wifi. Super friendly folks at the Elks. Very level sites, on grass, might be issues when wet. - KAP99
Oct 2013 - $20.00
An Elks member only park. An excellent place to stay. Parking on grass which looks like it may be soft when very wet. It was dry when we've been here (3 times) so I haven't seen wet first hand. An extremely friendly club with golf course attached. The absolute best prime rib dinner. If you can be here on the last Wed. of the month it is fork tender. - Bucky Beaver
Oct 2013 - $25.00
Mostly mobile homes. Few RV sites, no laundry or restrooms, You must provide your own. Convenient location to the freeway and restaurant. - fishon4us
Oct 2018 - $28.00
We've stayed here twice while in transit. It's a very nice commercial park, spacious with lots of trees, as the name implies. It's right on the Snake River. Sites are gravel, level, and room. Service is excellent. They guide you to your site and make sure everything is to your liking. In addition to all the usual campground services, there's a gas station and a grill, which will deliver to your site. It's nice for a break from cooking in the camper. - Thriller
Oct 2018 - $32.00
Very nice park just off I-84! Great for an overnight stay, they have a store, gas, a deli (with delivery to your site) and a walking path! WiFi was good and the people are very friendly, they even lead you to the site. We will definitely stay here again! - 2VetsRVing
Sep 2018 - $33.00
Right off I-84 so you do hear some road noise if you are in back sites. Mostly gravel pull thru sites with nice grassy side yards. Sites are pretty close together but we had no issues. Some full timers and lots of weekenders but all were quiet and friendly. Restrooms were clean and while not the most fancy, they were easy to access and spotless. Host was friendly and helpful. They do deliver to your site from their grill / deli! While no dedicated or fenced dog park, Lots and lots of grassy areas for walking dogs! Very much appreciated the dog friendly nature of Village of Trees! Power and utilities were fine. - Dogshowman
Sep 2017 - $27.00
Don't follow your GPS instructions it will send you through a tight trailer park; instead look for signs leading into the park.
The good: easy big rig stop, level gravel road in with no tight turns, open sky for satellite, level gravel pull through spots, clean restroom, showers and laundry, friendly owner.
The bad: the road NOISE! Lots of goat head stickers around sites. Park is full of residents with junk piled around, overnighters get spaces right up against the highway away from internet access, and did I mention the road NOISE! Don't expect to sit outside and have a conversation. Bring ear plugs, lots of ear plugs.
Also, the road out of the park is full of potholes so go very slowly. - Road Train
Aug 2017 - $27.00
Trafic noise from highway is extremely loud. Water pressure is horrible. Owners are greedy and will not reimburse for unexpected short stays. - Stephen89207
May 2017 - $25.00
Very nice overnight stay. Decent sized sites. Gravel roads and level sites. Clean and nice restrooms and showers. Great laundry with 3 newer washers and dryers, at only $1 each. Full hookups with 50AMP. Grass sites with picnic tables and grills. Only problem is the closeness of the Freeway. Use a little noisemaker! - The Mangonel
Nov 2018 - $24.00
What a gem. I hesitated to review it because it will become popular. This is a town operated RV park right on the Snake River. Wide roads, easy in-out, no obstructions and only four other campers in mid-November. The park closes for the winter Dec. 1 - roughly March 15 depending on the weather. No park host on duty at this time of year. Payment also seems to be on the honor system. Cash or checks only. $26 for seniors, less 10% Good Sam discount is a real bargain. The back in sites are easily large enough for big rigs, but the pull-thru sites are not. We had to disconnect and park the car next to the coach, but we are close to 65' hooked up. Watch the curbs, but otherwise no issues. The RV park is part of an extensive riverside complex that is a pleasure to walk and a great place for the dogs, too. The only downside is the odor from some large industrial plant not far away. When the wind is wrong the smell is a little .... strong. - bobcovey
Oct 2018 - $25.00
This park is owned by the city. It is situated in the town, but a rural park on the Snake River, which you can walk along from the park. It is incredible value at $25. Extremely long pull through's, with additional space to park 2-3 cars/trucks. Wide grass lawns separate each site. Wide entry roads and easy access, a mile off the interstate. - JeffK
Sep 2018 - $25.00
Beautiful city owned RV Park. Easy to get to and no problem maneuvering our 45' MH with tow through the park. Sites paved with curbs so be careful leveling with your basement door openings. Did not impact us though we were close! Camp Hosts were very friendly. Walkability is superb with lush grass, beautiful landscaping and pathway along the river. We would go back here. Satellite hooked up with strong Verizon. They do not take credit cards. - SHIPM8
