This a no frills campsite. All dirt and grass. The site is so trampled. Water pressure was great. Sewer hole is a bit hug and doesn't have any threads. Electric was fine. Neighbors were quiet and no road noise. Trains pass, but it wasn't terrible. The trees are very overgrown. We had to decline several possible sites because of overhead tree branches. The site we ended up on had a dead tree. So it was ok. Why wouldn't they replace a dead tree! Overall was OK. We camped at Travel America RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

I tried to camp at another park in town, but it was FULL. So we started out of town on 95 south and seen this park. This is a well laid out park with grass sites and plenty of room. for our 43 foot RV It is located behind a fuel station .Partly with some trees, I cannot get my Direct TV The park is mostly free of road noise, but you do here the trains at night as they are about a mile away when they start to blow their horns, and blow their horns they do! All night long. Many, many of them. I needed to use my ear plugs even here. I am so glad I am not in town closer to the tracks, I cannot even imaging the noise they must make. And at a much more reasonable cost and more space also! Its just a short drive over the bridge to town. We camped at Travel America RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here because we had no other options. We got shafted at a different resort on a Friday afternoon and had absolutely nowhere to go. This park had openings. (Should be your first clue when they have openings on a Friday afternoon!) If you LOVE freight trains, then this is the park for you! You will hear freight trains all night long, at the rate of every 20-30 minutes and every single one blasts its horn as they pass by. They are so loud that it sounds like they are a couple hundred feet away. Added to the trains is the fact that this is a very busy gas station with a RV park behind it. You'll hear large trucks and loud cars all day and night. The sites were very tight, had dirt pads, dead grass and large untrimmed trees. The park was dirty, dusty and trashy. There were some unsavory characters roaming around the sites day and night. When the wind blew in the right direction we could smell ether in the air. If you don't know what that is associated with, Google it. We paid for three nights but left as soon as the sun came up the first morning and never looked back. Didn't want to have our stuff stolen or blown up. To add insult to injury, the tress in our spot were so overgrown and in need of trimming it tore a hole in our roof. Won't ever stop here again...period! We camped at Travel America RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This place is noting to write home about! We had to stay for business but couldn't wait to leave. The train horn all night long is not good. Some of the permanent resident places are really in shambles. OK in a pinch but we will not be back. We camped at Travel America RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The Park cafe is closed but the bathrooms and laundry are new. It's a bit dusty and the internet is very slow. We were able to use our Direct TV dish. We camped at Travel America RV Park in a Motorhome.

The sites are definitely big enough for a big rig with four slides but the streets are gravel/dirt and soft. If they were very wet you could get stuck. The park could use some maintenance. The sites are grassed which is nice. The train runs all night but with the windows closed it wasn't too bad. There are two full rows of full time RVers and most of them have junky spots. There is a service station with diesel and propane and a cafe and convenience store on site. An old mobile home was the bathrooms, showers and rec hall but I never got up enough nerve to go inside to inspect. There are phone hookups in the first two rows (where the full time sites are.) We stay here any time we go through Sandpoint because it is convenient and there really isn't much choice but we are just going through. The campground is really in Sagle, ID, about 6 miles south of Sandpoint. We camped at Travel America RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a basic no frills park with few amenities. Roads are gravel/dirt. Sites are grass pull thrus and level. There are small trees that don't provide much shade. It is big rig friendly. The park is behind a truck stop/convenience store/cafe. Sites close to them will get some noise, sites at the back of the park will get less. Registration is at the convenience store. There is also a railroad track nearby and you hear trains occasionally. The park was satisfactory for our one night stay. We camped at Travel America RV Park in a Motorhome.
