Overall Rating:

This is a 12 space RV park located in a small County Park about 5 minutes from Interstate 15. Use the directions on the website as signage is not prominent. Long, mostly level, partially shaded gravel sites all of which are pull through and easily accessible for our 38 foot fifth wheel. Water and electric are located towards the rear of the site but were easily accessed and worked well. OTA television stations available. No sewer hookup at each side but a very wide open dump site is available. Verizon had excellent service but no data from AT&T available. There is a dog walking area around entire park as well as a small grass area. There was a large disc golf course which surrounds the RV Park. The Snake River is not accessible directly from the park but is close. There is a Flying J and Love's about 3 minutes north of the park on I-15 with easy access and diesel. We would stay here again as this was an extremely reasonable and nice overnight stop. We camped at North Bingham County Recreation Area in a Fifth Wheel.

A nice quiet little campground. Not a busy park at all. There were plenty of spots available, the price is great for electric & water hookups and a dump station on site. We had Verizon and AT&T coverage here. The sites were level and many had shade trees. All sites are pull-thru and plenty long enough for our 38' Travel Trailer and pull vehicle. Bathrooms were fairly clean, dump station was excellent and the overall campground was a great place to stay. We camped at North Bingham County Recreation Area in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a little historical park back behind the campground, they were celebrating Pioneer Days when we were there, it would be worth checking out if you are there with kids!

Overall Rating:

This small county park is about 1 mile off I-15. The young lady on staff was very pleasant. There are 12 sites. The sites are narrow with trees so it is tough maneuvering with a 45 ft MH towing. The sites contain pea gravel with a small strip of grass and trees between sites. You will get sap droppings from the trees. Variety of levelness depending on the site. Most are long enough to fit any size rig if you can get into them. We had to do some dodging to leave to avoid trees and the building where the restrooms were. The biggest downer were the flies. I have never seen so many flies. They were literally everywhere and took any chance to get into the RV. We were killing flies for days after we left. The bees made themselves known as well. Verizon was 4g 2 bars. No Directv satellite due to trees. We would not stay here again. We camped at North Bingham County Recreation Area in a Motorhome.

There is a sign in/reservation sheet to check on site availability when you enter the park as well as self pay and registration. Only a few campers there when we stopped. A county road in front has some traffic but we did not find the noise bothersome. Good electric and water and a convenient dump station on the way out. We camped at North Bingham County Recreation Area in a Motorhome.

Not a bad little park a few miles south of Idaho Falls. Check in was easy since we had a reservation. All pull-through sites; we were assigned to site 12. Good power and water pressure. We would stay here again. Got a good strong DTV satellite signal. We camped at North Bingham County Recreation Area in a Motorhome.

We camped in a 45ft MH-stayed 6 days/over Eclipse 2017 date. Electric and Water only, dump station. Water pressure was low. Nice grounds, walking/bike trail across the street. Staff were friendly, helpful and very busy! Administrative Office Staff was very helpful. Bathroom wasn't very clean though. Black mold in women's shower-really need a strong fan or bleach it off daily. We camped at North Bingham County Recreation Area in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

This area was 'poopy' smelling in the early evenings and the flies were annoying. Idk why. Go to Idaho Falls: Farmer's Market, Idaho Brewery, Frosty Gator for Gyros! Hike Cress Creek Nature Trail, Heise Golf Course restaurant & hot springs were GREAT! Visit the Hell's Half Acre Lava Field, hike, with hiking boots, Menan Butte-last leg of it is miserable. Shelley: Broulim's Grocery is clean and organized.

Quiet country location a few minutes from Idaho Falls. This is a county rec park (ball fields, picnic areas) with a small RV campground in one corner. Office on site, but it was locked the two days I was there. No wifi. We camped at North Bingham County Recreation Area in a Motorhome.

We called and talked to a nice lady, seems they live on site but we never did see them. We put our check in a mail slot at the entrance building that we never saw manned. This is a county park with 12 electric/ water sites. They are plenty long and level. Lots of campers pulled in to use the dump station which we could see but did not bother us. The anti siphon device on our water leaked, I reported it but it was not fixed while we were here. Park was quiet at night. We would stay here again. We camped at North Bingham County Recreation Area in a Motorhome.

We have relatives in the area and have used and commented on this park previously. The previous positive comments on this little gem of a park are spot on. We were very surprised to find an empty space on a Holiday weekend. We have never met the caretakers but have talked to a very nice lady on the phone. Some trees do need a light trimming in the near future. We camped at North Bingham County Recreation Area in a Motorhome.

This was a good park for an over nightstop. With a 30 ft travel trailer we were able to stay hooked up and there was plenty of room in the site. The bathrooms could have used a good cleaning. The dump station and fresh water were close to the exit and in good condition. There is lots of room for walking dogs or playing ball. A good value for an overnight park. This county park has 12 spaces for RVs, all pull-through with 50 amp electric and water service for $20 per night. There is also a dump station as well as restrooms with showers, bathrooms could use more frequent cleaning. The spaces are a bit narrow but serviceable. The park is located along the Snake River just outside the town of Shelley, ID, 2 miles off I-15. You can call ahead for a reservation or take your chances on a first come basis. This is the old fashioned way of camping with a lovely, quiet county park. Full hookups including 50 amp with grass and trees. Drop your envelope with check or cash and enjoy. Any site would meet your needs. We overnighted and did not even have to unhook, all for $20. Thank you to the good care provided. We camped at North Bingham County Recreation Area in a Motorhome.

This is a county park that's located approximately one mile from Hwy 15. There are two entrances to the park, both are big rig friendly - one is directly from the main highway passing the park, and the other is from a side road just after passing the park. Our GPS directed us to the side road past the park. We turned around, as we didn't see the entrance from the side road, but the entrance is near the dump station. There is a clipboard on the office door (office is located near the main highway) where you can check for available sites. Put money in envelope and drop through slot in the door. Reservations can be made as well. All sites (I believe there are 12) appear to be the same length and are long enough for any size rig. The sites are hard packed gravel, relatively level, but a little narrow. There are trees, many of which needed to be trimmed, at the front and back of each site. The sites offer water and electric, with a dump station on premises. There is one shower with four toilet rooms. Verizon data and cell service worked well. There is no park wifi. Lots of places to walk pets. There is a small outdoor museum as well as a model airplane strip behind the park. The museum is worth a visit. There's also a disc golf course at the park. If parking in site #4 be careful as there is a narrow channel running the entire length of it, which makes it very easy to twist an ankle if you don't watch where you're stepping. We camped at North Bingham County Recreation Area in a Motorhome.
