Park Manager was fantastic with lots of tourist advice. The park isn't fancy but works for a 1-2 night stay to rest and shop. He recommended 2 restaurants with views of the canyon and Perrine Bridge. We chose the bar at Elevation 486 and had a great meal with a beautiful view and the wi-fi actually worked! We camped at Oregon Trail Campground in a Motorhome.

On site manager was great. Sets the tone for the entire stay. Enthusiastic and helpful. Ping pong table set up. Book exchange. Our site fine. Only one toilet and one shower per sex. But gets points for hand held shower head. Could be muddy if rains. Wifi good. We camped at Oregon Trail Campground in a Motorhome.

We have a Sprinter size van and don't consider it a motorhome, so I chose truck camper. Even though the sign said "FULL", we got a site for two nights. Twin Falls was a good stopover for groceries, a night out at a restaurant, etc. Manager gentleman was very friendly and helpful. There seemed to be a fair number of long time residents, but the showers were hot and rest rooms and laundry clean. We camped at Oregon Trail Campground in a Truck Camper.

We stayed here for one night and were very pleased with this campground! The man at the desk was super nice and helpful. The Wifi was fast and reliable which is pretty much unheard of these days at campgrounds! We enjoyed the ping pong table. We highly recommend this campground!!! We camped at Oregon Trail Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed in this park for two nights. Our space was fine. All the utilities worked well. The park has a lot of full-time residents. We camped at Oregon Trail Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This was a really cute little park. The customer service was A++. We found the spaces to be a little too tight together is the only reason we probably won't go back. But the park seemed quiet, nice and shady, a great playground spot for the kids, and customer service was great. We camped at Oregon Trail Campground in a Travel Trailer.

On site owners are great; very helpful. They take care of everything. The location is close to town and far enough from the highway so noise is not an issue. They have 4 brand new Whirlpool Washers and 4 Whirlpool dryers. We camped at Oregon Trail Campground in a Motorhome.

Roads are gravel, sites are tight, some with trees for shade. The pet area is at the far end of the park. Cable and WiFi are good. Park is a Good Sam park, but they don't give a discount. We camped at Oregon Trail Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Well at least it wasn't like the 80's computer game and we didn't die of dysentery. That said we did not feel safe at this campground which is bare bones with no services and only one shower for each gender for the whole campground. No picnic tables, no fire rings. Guys walking around with no shirts and beer bottles. Also there were at time the smell of cow manure. We paid more here than three order places we visited. Don't stay here. We camped at Oregon Trail Campground in a Truck Camper.

This park is under new ownership....so they seem to be trying to improve the cleanliness of the park. They seem to be obsessed with cleaning a concrete pad instead of pruning suckers off trees and pulling weeds. While we were enjoying happy hour after spending 4 hours cleaning my rig a street sweeper fired up covering everything with dirt and dust, needless to say I was not a happy camper. Don't know that I will return. The park has only one shower which had been recently redone and it was clean. The sites are gravel. The park is easy access to town. We camped at Oregon Trail Campground in a Motorhome.

Stayed 2 nights in 43' MH w/TV. Requested 50 amp pull thru. We were put in a concrete, level spot with hook ups, which all worked well, but didn't have any shade trees, picnic table, fire pit or any other hominess. There were several spots that had those things available, not sure why we weren't put in one, except we originally planned to stay 1 night and ended up staying 2. This park has mostly full time residents, but a few spots for overnighters. The owner, Mark, is a great guy, which added to the stay. We camped at Oregon Trail Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We stayed an additional day to Zip The Snake (zipline). It was a blast. They're putting in a 4000' line due in September, which would do if we came back. If you're just passing through, consider a meal at Elevation 486, the food is fine, nothing special, but the view of the Snake River, canyon and Perreine Bridge are truly SPECTACULAR!

Not a bad park. Roads could stand to be worked to get the pot holes out. Looked like he was putting more gravel down on parts of the road. Good water and electric. One big parking lot. All gravel. Only one bathroom and shower. Owner very helpful and friendly. WiFi good. We camped at Oregon Trail Campground in a Motorhome.

Staying here when passing thru. Got a military discount with a big "Thanks for your service". Nice couple running this park. He just retired from the Pentagon and respects the military.

Sites are fairly large, maybe 30 feet wide by 50 long.

Free Wifi also. Great 50 amp service with high water pressure.

Would stay here again when passing thru, no problem. We camped at Oregon Trail Campground in a Motorhome.

Entrance is a bit confusing because of the sign placement. Some sites have grass while others are just gravel. Not a destination park, but fine for an overnight or for a base camp from which to explore. We camped at Oregon Trail Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We enjoyed our short stay here. Site was level and easy in/out with our big rig. Staff was very helpful with info on local area. There were a number of sites that had grass and if we were going to stay very long we would have requested one of them - there were several available while we were there. But, for out short stay the site we had was so easy in/out it met our needs fine. We would stay here again. We camped at Oregon Trail Campground in a Motorhome.
