This is a "Gem" of a park. Large park tucked away in a canyon right in town. Gazebos for entertaining, BBQ's through out the park. Roughly 5-6 acres of grass (lawn) with healthy stream running through it. Has a Frisbee Golf course.
County Park ... Fees 15.00 includes water and power. No Sewer but county dump site is less than a mile away, and is free. We camped at Rock Creek Park in a Motorhome.
Shopping: includes Costco, Walmart, Fred Meyer, Albertson's and Swenson's Markets.
Restaurants: Jakers, Outback Steakhouse, Canyon Ridge, Idaho Joe's, Rock Creek Steakhouse, Golden Corral, Buffalo Wild Wings McD's ect.

Lots of issues. First, the sign indicating the entrance to the RV Park is missing. When approaching the park look for the gravel pit and turn there, first road, before the mobile home dealership. Two, the upper road has a gaping hole as the result of a mud slide which went down into the RV Park below and buried 7 of the sites 4 weeks ago. Clean-up still has a way to go. Three, the exit road, at the time of the main slide, had a series of slides which totally closed/blocked the exit. After cleanup the condition is still pretty bad as each time it rains more debris, rock and mud comes down onto the road and makes it really difficult to pull up the hill. Four, sites flood each time it rains...up to 6 inches of water in the west sites. Pets are allowed to run although the park says "no" and feces on the grass near the picnic shelters is gross. Quiet, yes; secure, no; the slides are a real bother. Pit toilets and no showers. City dump station about a mile away on Washington. I don't think we will return here. Pretty park, yes, and lots of walking and biking trails, on Rock Creek. Well maintained and quiet, most of the time. Just doesn't feel good, looking up at the very unstable hill side above your RV and wondering when the next slide will take place. No, we won't return. We camped at Rock Creek Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

A great little hideaway ! As the previous reviewer indicate this park is hard to find but once found the rest is easy. The best direction to the driveway is the "first" right turn after you cross the bridge on Addison Ave., traveling West from Washington and Addison. We stayed for 15 days and thoroughly enjoyed it. Very quiet with a very occasional party (family) at one of the two gazebos. I have spent time with the camp hosts and the were very pleasant and friendly. The bathrooms are vault style and are serviced weekly. Lawns are watered and cut weekly. You can walk along the creek on paved pathways for a quarter mile. This is also a regulation Frisbee golf course. The previous reviewer failed to note that Twin Falls received a record rainfall (according to a gentleman with emergency services) in the county's recorded history. The park was restored in two days and no one was trapped or injured. I look forward to staying here again. We camped at Rock Creek Park in a Motorhome.Undo

We love this place. The is no septic hookups so it does not get tons of traffic. We stayed 6 days. Twin falls has a city dump station on Washington Street that is free. It has also a park with Rock Creek running thru it. There is gazebos, picnic tables covered, a large playground, 18 stations of disc golf. You can fish in the creek. There are outhouses . No showers. This a real Gem. Nice park, a little difficult to get to, but well worth the little extra time. Spaces are all gravel but level. The park is off the road with a stream through it with large shade trees and not crowded. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Rock Creek Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

This is a go to park when in southern Idaho. We love to walk and there must be 5 miles of various trails from the park. Hosts are always friendly. There is a 3/4 mile long Frisbee Golf Course. The community reclaimed a dead creek in a dry canyon. They have made it lush and beautiful. There is no sewer or dump. The bathrooms are concrete buildings with pit toilets. For those of you coming from Twin Falls on Addison, as soon as you pass the hospital and go across the bridge, make a right between rock business and mobile home business. Our Hot Spot works down there and our antenna picks up many TV stations. We camped at Rock Creek Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Beautiful park with everything but sewer and Wi-Fi. Spacious spots, both back-in and pull-through. Nice creek and lots of grass. Limited shade. Can't beat the price. Plenty of room for our motorhome and Jeep. Very hard to locate, as there are three Rock Creek parks, two for day use, and one on the opposite side of the canyon. Stay on Blue Lakes Blvd. coming into Twin Falls to Addison. West to the entrance of the RV park (2 miles? from Blue Lakes). Definitely would stay here again. Our 40' motorhome just fit in one of the pull-throughs. The setting is nice with walking trails through the park. We did have an issue with air in the water lines, and noticed a bad odor in the air the one night we tried to sleep with the windows open. New camp hosts this year are friendly. The place was not crowded at all, and is quiet. It is a challenge to find the turn into the park, and the roads into and out of the campground are steep and narrow, although we had no trouble getting in or out. We would stay here again. This is a cute little park at a great price. There are plenty of grassy areas, picnic pavilions and play equipment for children. There is a nice paved path and pedestrian bridges over the creek. It is not that far a drive from the Interstate. In no way can this park be compared to an RV resort, but it is a nice, relaxed spot for a bit more primitive camping. The one-way entrance and exit roads are narrow and wind up and down the gorge, but once in the park the roads are flat and wide enough for easy maneuvering. Sites are flat, graveled and a 40' or 42' rig would probably just fit. There is no dump station and no sewage connection, and there is not a patio area to sit just outside of your camper. However, picnic sites with covers, are located nearby. There are a few bathrooms in the park. All are composting toilets. There are no showers. There is no WiFi nor cable, but we were able to receive satellite and cell phone coverage. Other reviewers commented about the difficulty of finding the entrance, but knowing to look between the gravel pit (on north side of street, east of entrance) and the West Wind mobile home sales office (also on north side of street, just west of the entrance) was helpful. Putting 800 Addison Ave W in Twin Falls put me right at the entrance. I marked the park down for not having a fenced dog park, giving it full credit for what it is - a no frills, clean place to park for a night or so. This would be a fun place to stay with young kids, having play equipment and plenty of lawn for games. We camped at Rock Creek Park in a Motorhome.Undo

This was a dead creek that the community revived. All pull through sights. Friendly camp hosts! Lush green with miles of easy walking trails. We always stay here! We camped at Rock Creek Park in a Motorhome.Undo

We found the entrance thanks to a previous post and were able to look at the campground from a large gravel lot above. It is a very attractive place and looks very nice. However, it closes for the season on November 1. I didn't see this info on the park's website and wanted to alert others who might be wanting to stay here. I believe it reopens on April 1, but would call ahead to confirm. The day-use area appears to be open year-round. We camped at Rock Creek Park in a Motorhome.Undo

There is a small sign for the RV entrance and it's situated between a gravel holding site and a modular home dealer. Park was very quiet at this time of year. A good bargain and pretty setting in this desert and farmland area. We would stay here again. We camped at Rock Creek Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

We stayed here one night and had problems with the 30 amp service continually tripping our protection device. Very peaceful and right in town but beware of the power situation. We camped at Rock Creek Park in a Motorhome.Undo

We stayed at this country park for 8 days. What a great find! Several miles of walking/biking paths. A river runs through it: literally! No sewer, or dump station, but there is a city run one (free) about 1 mile away. The 50amp electric was great, but the water system appeared to have air in the system. I think there was a water main break causing this air in the system. We loved this park, and will return. A great value for $15/day. We camped at Rock Creek Park in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $15.00
Well maintained county park with RV sites. It is in a valley area thereby eliminating street noise above. Long, paved and unpaved lots. Sites had grass areas between sites and large grass areas for recreation, covered picnic tables and pavilions with tables. Some sites have shade. There is a hiking path and a disc golf course. A creek runs through the park. Great value for $15 a night. Camp hosts were very friendly and helpful. The entrance into the park is not the greatest, but once in the campground it is very nice. The only downside is the outhouse toilets and no showers, but you know this going in. We stayed for 10 days and would stay again. We camped at Rock Creek Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
