Although without hookups, this is one of the nicest Forest Service campgrounds I’ve used. Interior road and the sites are paved. The sites are long and level with plenty of elbow room between them. Each has a separate sand covered tent pad, picnic table, fire ring, and a metal table for holding a portable grill. The camp ground doesn’t have bath houses, but they do have vaulted toilets that were clean and well maintained. There are community water faucets available to fill holding tanks when needed. It is within walking distance of a large lake with a boat ramp and excellent fishing. There was no cell or TV signals and getting satellite signals is a challenge due to tall pine trees. It’s remote and up in elevation but the road is paved, not steep, and all sizes rigs can navigate it. My rating is based on like primitive campgrounds vs. commercial ones with hookups. It would have been higher, but there isn't a dump station. It’s a good place to get away from civilization, but not have to work at maneuvering the rig among the trees to do so. We camped at Shoreline - USFS in a Motorhome.Undo
