Small park with some sites on the river. Nice view. However sites are very small in large gravel lot. Neighbors awning had to be retracted when we left. Electric and water only. Sites share pedestals which means doors open to your neighbor's door. Picnic tables were side by side. No cell and unable to connect to wifi. Not much to do in area. Would NOT say this is big rig friendly at all (even for our 36 ft) as people had to park tow vehicles and pickups anywhere they could find space. We camped at Swiftwater RV Park & Store in a Motorhome.

Nice small park right on the Salmon River. Very clean bathrooms although they are not air conditioned. We had two days where temperature was at 100 and bathrooms were HOT. Friendly hosts. Wifi fairly slow but ok. No cell service but host let us use the land line. Not much else here but quiet river setting. Would stay again if in the area. We camped at Swiftwater RV Park & Store in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We used River Adventures out of Riggins for a Hells Canyon jet boat ride. Spectacular. New beautiful boat. They will pick you up right in the campground and bring you back safe and sound. On the river we saw deer, eagle, big horn sheep, for huge rams, osprey, and a forest fire.

Nice quiet location right on the Salmon River. Very clean, loved the bathrooms. Wifi OK, a bit slow but better than most parks. Great location. Pull-thru site would have been very close if the park was full. We camped at Swiftwater RV Park & Store in a Travel Trailer.

A beautiful little campground on the Salmon River. Pull in sites with great views of the river. Super friendly owners live on site and take superior pride in their campground. The bathrooms are fantastic. Each one is private just like a home bathroom. And decorated like a home bathroom with pictures, a chair, bathmat, soap, paper towels. The laundry room is equally home-like. The bathrooms and laundry are together in an area under the owners home. You walk through a sliding glass door into the area that looks like someone's finished basement. Sites are fairly close with shade trees. Power and water are good and easy to connect. There are no sewer connections but the dump station is easy access and clean. Quiet. Nicely dark at night for star gazing. I extended my stay and would definitely stay there again. We camped at Swiftwater RV Park & Store in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The entrance is a very tight turn. There is a large gravel parking area that offers you an area to make a big wide swing into the entrance. No cable. No OTA television. WiFi available but a tad slow. You can pull into the river (back in ) sites so their is a river view through your motorhome windshield. The pullthru sites are rather short for huge motorhomes towing and huge 5th wheels.

What a gem of a find. The campground is right on the river and the views are spectacular. The restrooms are just like at home. Each one is a private bathroom with a shower. And the owners even put a bath mat in there for you.

Power (30- and 50-amp) are clean and steady. The Wi-Fi is slow but usable. No OTA or cable. Sites are level and mostly gravel. The pull-thru sites are grass while the straight-in and back-in sites are gravel.

A great place to stay! We camped at Swiftwater RV Park & Store in a Motorhome.

Be careful turning into the park. The turn into the park is sharp. However, there is a large gravel area at the entrance to allow a wide swing.

The park was exceptionally clean and the owner was very helpful in every aspect. One could fish right in your back yard - just off the Salmon River. We took the back road to Hells Canyon which was great trip up and back if you like one lane gravel road, that goes way up and way down - saw deer along the drive. Lastly the price was very reasonable and the wi-fi could have been better. We would most certainly stay their again. We camped at Swiftwater RV Park & Store in a Travel Trailer.

The sites are very close together. The back of your site is against the Salmon River, so it's nice but you can definitely hear the people around you. Stayed 3 nights, really only needed two nights. Drove to other site down the road, and this one seemed better than the other one. We camped at Swiftwater RV Park & Store in a Motorhome.

Swift Water Campground and RV park is a quite pleasant park. Owners are super nice. Very clean safe park with clean Laundry, bath and showers.

Looks like best park in area. WiFi is good for email. Beautiful view of the Salmon River. Allow washing rigs. Big rig friendly. Electric

30 and 50 amp was good. Great trails to Hells Canyon and area near park. Fishing walking distance. Jet boat rides up the Snake River near

by. Talked to a local that said gold in the area if you like to pan. For supplies there is a general store in the town of White Bird 3 or 4

miles away. If you need gas or a place to eat there is a place just a couple of miles away called Hoots. We camped in a 36 foot motorhome

towing. We would stay again. We camped at Swiftwater RV Park & Store in a Motorhome.

Rate is Passport America. This is a well-maintained, small park that is very difficult for large motor homes or fifth-wheels to enter and maneuver into sites. Coming from the south, the entry is at least a 60-degree left turn and cannot be made by most motor homes without swinging into a parking area across the road. Center pull-thrus are short, and riverfront sites, which are pull-in for motor homes, require unhooking the tow to maneuver into the site. No cable, and WiFi is extremely slow. Verizon cell/data were unusable. Trees surrounding the park make it difficult to use rooftop satellites. Nice view of the river once you're parked. A great park for small to medium-sized RVs. Very nice campground. Quiet, with good views of the river. Had only 2 baths w/ showers but they were neat and clean. Laundry was clean, only 2 machines w/ dryers. Not many choices for restaurants since the town is so small (150 pop.) A good RV park to just relax in and enjoy the views. Good fishing! We camped at Swiftwater RV Park & Store in a Tent Trailer.

Nice little park on the Salmon River. No cable TV anymore but very good Wi-Fi. Back in spots with river view are a little tight if all spots are occupied. Owner very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Swiftwater RV Park & Store in a Fifth Wheel.

Grass perimeter except for some spaces in the center which are all grass. Watering occurs every day and the center watering would be a problem for a coach. Facilities are clean. The owner is absent at night but in the park for most (?) of the day. The river flows right beside the park and provides a nice view if you can see between the tree branches. The willow trees and cottonwood trees are a tad low and could be a problem in the future. Parking with a big rig might be a problem if the park were full. Cable TV is only three weather channels and two that don't respond, so there is not really cable TV in spite of advertising. We camped at Swiftwater RV Park & Store in a Motorhome.

This is a nice park.. We're looking out on the lower Salmon River. The park would be tight for a big rig if more people were here. Right now there are three of us and it's perfect. No sewer at the sites but there is a dump. 50 amps are good. Showers are very clean. We would definitely stay here again.. We camped at Swiftwater RV Park & Store in a Motorhome.
