This is an old park, that could use some TLC. The staff are friendly and accommodating. They offer shuttle service to downtown. This is a safe place to stay in a poorer suburb of St. Louis. There was quite a bit of noise by drunk campers the night we stayed. Overall if I had to stop in this area, as an overnight I would use it again. We camped at Cahokia RV Parque in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed for a week at Cahokia RV Parque in order to visit St Louis. It was a very convenient location. The owners and staff are very friendly making suggestions of things to see in the area. They offer a very reasonable drop off and pickup option if you don't want to drive into St Louis. Pool was nice and there is a barbecue restaurant on the premises that has decent food. The park was quiet during the week and filled up on the weekend. Pretty typical for the Summer months. There is some road noise and construction going on in the area. We camped at Cahokia RV Parque in a Motorhome.

Friendly, helpful people. Clean, well organized park.

We were looking to see the St.Louis Arch and the girl on the desk at the RV park set up the visit of the arch and transportation to get there. She went above and beyond my expectations.

In addition the park was well organized, clean and had many features such as a play ground, miniature golf course and swimming pool, all of which were in great condition and clean. We camped at Cahokia RV Parque in a Motorhome.

Bathrooms are decently clean but not spotless. Sites are VERY close together. Location isn't the best - it's in an older, industrial, semi-sketchy part of town and right on a busy highway, so lots of noise from traffic and car stereos. Laundry room is SUPER small - barely enough room to walk between washers and dryers, also is $2.50 to wash and $1.50 for 30 mins drying. That's a little on the expensive side. The staff is friendly and helpful, though. The pool seems clean and the on-site restaurant seems good though I haven't eaten there. For an overnight or couple nights' stay this is a decent value but wouldn't want to stay here any longer. We camped at Cahokia RV Parque in a Fifth Wheel.

We spent 5 days in this park which has a great location for touring St. Louis. The hookups were good. The staff is friendly. The sites are pretty close together and most of the residents are working in the area so the park is very quiet during the days. Some sites were messy. But none of this was a problem because the location is so good. We camped at Cahokia RV Parque in a Travel Trailer.

Sites are small, we had a concrete patio. No fire pit, but evidence there was one; had to pick up garbage from previous tenants. No picnic table. Park is full of long term residents. Some nice, some lowlifes. Grass needed mowing well over 2weeks ago. From somewhere the street had a river coming down it, asked cause it smelled like sewer. Was told it happens once in awhile. Great location to spend time in St Louie as we did just that. Not much else as far as campgrounds around here so. It is what it is. We camped at Cahokia RV Parque in a Travel Trailer.

The location of Cahokia RV Parque is great for going into St. Louis; Gateway Arch is visible from a distance. The owner and hosts are very nice and helpful. There is a restaurant on site that has a good reputation, but we did not eat there. The pool was covered because it was not open yet for the season, however it appeared to be a good size and had a nice concrete patio. Bathrooms are very clean and spacious. Laundry was cramped; offers 2 front load washers and 4 dryers and as a convenience propane is sold on location. There is a pavilion that crosses over a pond, but the pond is almost dry. The roads are asphalt and the sites are gravel with a little grass and there is a concrete patio and wooden picnic tables at each site. The utilities were in good working order. However, overall the park itself is filled with permanent residents and some of the trailers are junk. The sites are very close together; our back end was about 8 ft. from the back end of our neighbors. Side to side we had about 20 ft between trailers. Our site was a back in and was rather difficult to get into because of the lack of space both on the site and because trucks all along the road had to parallel park. This park is nothing to write home about, but is good for a one or two night stay. We camped at Cahokia RV Parque in a Fifth Wheel.

Acceptable for big rigs but close to a very noisy truck route. Staff was very helpful and took us in with no reservations. finding the right exit 1, as you head West, is a tough one, as three interstates come together right before the Mississippi River. We missed it and had to come back from downtown St. Louis, as I'm told a lot of travelers do. The long pull through are actually two spaces so you might have to disconnect your tow to allow another unit behind you. Easy to navigate the roads hooked up. Laundry room is a little small for the size of the park. We camped at Cahokia RV Parque in a Motorhome.

Big rig friendly with level sites. The construction on I-55 makes getting to the campground confusing so be sure to watch your GPS and the road. Bathrooms and laundry were good. No dog park but lots of grass to walk dog. Easy to ride bicycle in campground. Small swimming pool but looked clean. No activities in campground. We camped at Cahokia RV Parque in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Downtown St Louis and Gateway Arch was only 3 miles. Super Walmart and other shopping was about 20 minutes. Neighborhood Walmart was only 2 miles but had limited groceries without produce and meat. The free St Louis Zoo is great and about 20 miles. Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site is about 30 minutes but worth the drive.

Stayed one night on trip west. Showed up w/o a reservation but no problem.

Assigned site was long enough for out van/20' TT without having to unhook.

Wifi was marginal as tower was in center of park and we were at the front. Might have been annoying had we stayed longer than 1 night. We camped at Cahokia RV Parque in a Travel Trailer.

Staff was friendly and helpful with booking and check-in. The park is on a highway that runs through a commercial/industrial area a few miles over the Mississippi river bridge from St Louis. The sites are pretty crowded, and the back to back linear arrangement of sites in the loop means if your neighbor has a long RV, it will spill over into your site. We backed in until the rear of our 5th wheel practically touched the rear of the big motor home in the adjacent site, and even being that close, we barely fit on the site. There was no room for our tow vehicle (pick-up truck) on the small site, so we parked it on the grass across the road from the site, and nobody objected. But we saw many sites where there was no grassy spot or any room to spare at all for a tow vehicle. The roads were narrow and spaces tight. There was an aged, splintering picnic table on our site, but we had to move it to the very edge of the site in order to fit the RV in it.

It seemed that many of the sites especially toward the back of the campground were occupied by long term or permanent residents. There was a fenced dumpster area near us that had rusty discarded appliances and other junk in it. In general, this is a functional but rather ugly place. Once you get inside your RV and shut out the view, it's fine. The hookups worked well. It was an easy drive into St Louis from here. We saw, but did not use, a small laundry facility near the campground office. We did buy BBQ to go from The Sawmill restaurant on site and it was pretty good (Pappy's in St Louis is better). Bottom line -- this CG will do in a pinch, but for $40 a night, I think I can find something with a little better scenery, like a state park. We camped at Cahokia RV Parque in a Fifth Wheel.

Staff was very friendly. It's in an excellent location to visit the sites in and around St Louis. The pool was clear unlike other times we have stayed here. The laundry was small for the number of sites and on the pricier side. We have stayed here before and will stay here again when in the area. We camped at Cahokia RV Parque in a Fifth Wheel.

Pulled in a heavy rain storm and expected the sites to be flooded, but the drainage was great and within minutes of the rain stopping the sites were left with no standing water. Many sites are occupied by workers staying for long term, but it was not any issues with the folks that come in for a few days and then leave. The roadway outside the park is busy and there is road noise, If you stay in the park you get a discount card to use at the on site restaurant, we didn't use on this visit. People inside the park said it was very good. Roads are asphalt and sites are gravel and for the most part level. Easy commute to down town St. Louis and appears to be a safe location. We camped at Cahokia RV Parque in a Motorhome.

This is in/near East St. Louis and is in an industrial area. Most spaces up front at least, where we were placed, were occupied by workers in some industry in the area. Construction? Most of those sites appeared to be seasonal or at least long term. So, loud trucks leaving at dawn.

Sites are back-in and are tight; especially with extra cargo trailers and second vehicles parked in and around each site. We had to park our tow vehicle tightly between the front side of our fifth-wheel and the neighbor's cargo trailer. The doors on our truck opening only 3/4 of the way. Road between opposing sites were already narrow enough, but protruding truck beds etc., made them tighter.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The grounds needed some attention. Although with everyone stuffed in at our area, cutting grass etc. will have to wait.

Would we stay again? Yes, however, before site assignment I'd scout out the park for a site that had less clutter. We camped at Cahokia RV Parque in a Fifth Wheel.

It's right in town and not too bad to get to - you just need to take it easy. There is a nice BBQ restaurant on site and you get a discount since you are staying at the park; the food was pretty good. There seemed to be a number of locals eating there so that's always a good sign. It's quite close to a number of attractions; although we were just passing through. This was one park where the wifi did work - it wasn't blazing fast but at least it stayed connected. We would stay again if in the area. There was a large mud puddle at the end of our original site and no matter what, one of us would be wading through it. We requested another site and they gladly accommodated - which we very much appreciated. The park could use a bit of maintenance - but for being in the city it wasn't bad. The sites were level overall. We would stay again. We camped at Cahokia RV Parque in a Travel Trailer.
