Spent one evening while sightseeing. Park was clean. Some train noise, but we had the a/c running. Staff was friendly. Uber came to this location for pick ups. We camped at Casino Queen RV Park in a Motorhome.

If you like to gamble, or if you want to see the Great Western Gateway Arch or St Louis, this is the only place to stay. It was 10 minutes from our site to the arch. The Casino will pick you up to take you to the train. Train ride is 5 minutes to the arch path. It is a no frills park. Half of the park has tree lined rows, half does not. The trees seem to be where they put the smaller RVs. Paved sites with rock in between. Fair distance from you neighbor. I don't think you could get any closer if you want to see the Arch. It's clean. It's "not" dusty. They have a small store. There is grass all around the park which makes for a great place for walking the dog. You will have some nice views of the St Louis skyline in the evenings. The utilities are in the rear of the site, so you will want to stay to the rear with your RV. I would stay again in a heartbeat. It suited our needs well. The casino is very accommodating. If it had more amenities, I would have given it a 10. We camped at Casino Queen RV Park in a Motorhome.

Take the trolly to the Arch. If you are here on a Saturday, they have a wonderful cookout next to the ball park...even had a band playing as early as 1pm.

All sites are on asphalt with gravel between sites. The shorter sites also have trees between them and would be great if you aren't very long. We were in a 70' pull-through. The hookups are at the back of the sites. We didn't unhook our toad and had to use our extension cord to reach power. We didn't use sewer or water because of the distance. The thing we liked that I didn't see others mention is that there is a nice grass perimeter (real grass-not weeds) around the park inside the fence which was great for walking the dogs. It rained a lot while we were here and it was nice not to be in mud. The view across the river of the city and arch is great. Call security and they will pick you up at your site and take you to the casino or MetroLink which we took over to the arch. We didn't connect to cable but OTA stations and satellite worked fine. The wifi also worked most of the time but there aren't many people here. Yes there are trains but they didn't bother us all that much. At least they weren't blaring their horns all night. We would stay here again. We camped at Casino Queen RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed over Memorial Day weekend and enjoyed our stay. It is a very nice, clean place to "base" out of while touring the St Louis area. It was very easy and convenient to get to St Louis and enjoy the city. I will stress.. this is NOT a frills kinda place... It offered us a nice/convenient place to be relative to downtown. We are very happy and can see us going back again. We camped at Casino Queen RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a very good place to stay and easy to get to from I-55/I-70 with good signage from the Exit. However it is right beside a very busy train track where many very large freight trains go by on a regular basis. Also not only do the trains go by in our case they were stopped, engines running, for an extended period of time during the night which made it hard to sleep. We were near the tracks bit if you get a site at the west end of the park it's would probably be by less noisy. The traffic and trains isn't the only downside but you get used to it. The park has its own office which you check into when you arrive. The sites ranged from smaller backin sites to long pull through sites which accommodate Class A motorhomes towing a car. There is gravel between these sites. Not far away are smaller backin sites. The park is fenced in and securityndrive through very often. The staff were very helpful and friendly and to go to the casino just call security and they will come and drive you there and back again. Excellent service. We ate at the Sevens restaurant as the Buffet is closed on Mondays. We had a very nice meal and it was big! We found this Casino RV park to be good but more expensive than others we have stayed at. It is also a non smoking Casino. It is situated across the river from the city and we look right at the Gateway Arch which looked beautiful all lit up at night with the city lights. We camped at Casino Queen RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a mediocre casino RV park. As others have said, there are 2 sides: one is open with fairly large site and the other has some trees and smaller, tighter sites. I believe all site are FHU, pull through with limited cable TV. The Wi-Fi is not reliable and often useless. If not for easy access to St. Louis, this would be a very overpriced park. We camped at Casino Queen RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed 3 nights to see some attractions in the area due to the park's proximity to downtown St Louis. The park is an interesting drive from I-70/55/64 (Exit 2B: 3RD ST) through a commercial district along a paved roads that had seen better days. The casino grounds were undergoing some construction so it was a rough ride. Plus there were significant dips near the office which could cause damage from impacting the pavement. There were a lot of scrape marks in the pavement on both the entrance and exit sides. There was a main train track along one side of the park. Freight trains were very active along the route causing noticeable noise in the early morning hours. All of the sites are pull throughs. The interior roads and sites are paved. There are two different areas in the park. One that was older with smaller sites and a tree canopy. The other was newer, more open, with larger parking pads and no trees. We stayed in the newer section so the information about the sites is about the newer section. The park was built on a slope. There appeared to be no effort to tier any of the sites so only a handful are anywhere near level. The remainder have a bi-directional pitch that in some cases is extreme causing some motor homes to have their axles suspended in the air. The P/T sites were long enough but the location of the utility connections at the rear of the site caused us to park the towed vehicle in the front in order to reach the connections. They have full hook ups - water, electricity (50/30 AMP), & sewer. The sewer connection was at the ground so it was easy to establish a downhill flow. Sites had sufficient room for opening slides. Distance and gravel areas establish privacy between the sites. No outside table or fire pits. In the newer section, there were no obstructions to the sky so satellite reception was good. Cable channel lineup showed 15 channels. The park provided WiFi was poor. Our Verizon WiFi hotspot worked well. We camped at Casino Queen RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

For being a casino park, this one was disappointing. In the newer section, the sites at the ends of each row (501 - 506, 521, 522, 601, 602, 604, 618 & 619) are generally the levelist. It's an easy ride on the mass transit train into downtown St Louis. The station is near the casino. The hardest part is getting from the park to the station (casino security provides rides) and from the street level to the track level - 3 stories up.

Park was a typical casino park, with parking lot qualities, but one side did have some trees. The women at the front desk were very helpful and the security was always there, to take you to the casino or to the train station where you cross the river into St Louis. Tips for other Campers:

Make sure to go into St Louis and do the tram trip up the Arch. It's a fascinating piece of architecture. Also, the Court House that was built in 1860 was beautiful. Right now they are doing a big construction job that should be done by next summer.

Located just across the river from St. Louis this CG offers a great view of the Arch. This is a paved parking lot with gravel in between the sites. Sewer outlet is at end of site so an extension was required. We were in the large RV section which has no trees. If it's summer - it's hot, but not the fault of the CG - it's St. Louis! The staff was very friendly at check-in and the security van seems to patrol every 20 minutes. East St. Louis has it's problems but this CG seems to be isolated from them and is just over the river from the big city. A very friendly service - if you're going to a Cardinals game, the security van will take you to the casino (very close) and from there you get a free ride to and from the stadium. We camped at Casino Queen RV Park in a Motorhome.

Love this place. The view of downtown is spectacular! You can walk across Ead's bridge right from the parking lot. Security will take you from the park to the casino or the bridge any time day or night. Paved sites good utilities. Great location to visit St Louis. We stayed here in a 5th wheel. First we were charged for one day, then I notified the clerk we were schedule for two days. She charged me for three days and when I asked for a correction she charged me for four days. Apparently, unaware on how to make the credit card correction. This park has two sections, north and south. North side has trees but very small sites. We were unable to park our 30' trailer and have room for the tow vehicle. The south side has very large sites but not trees, much like an asphalt parking lot. The utilities were very good. Over-the-air TV was decent in the absence of cable. Site was asphalt with gravel patches separating sites. Security was good; if you are a light sleeper this could bother you. The mini-mart was a joke, opens from 8 AM to 4 PM, and the mini-mart is where you check in. There's a procedure for after hours check in. The park is close to downtown. Spacious roads for navigation. We camped at Casino Queen RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Arch, Anheuser Busch stadium, and brewery. In past years, we enjoyed visiting Union Station for eateries and shopping in the train shed. The station and hotel are magnificent, but all the shopping and eateries are gone due to the growing homeless population and the train shed is closed.

This RV park is a converted black topped parking lot that has been converted to a park. There are no trees. All the utilities are located at the far end of the site. Do to location of the sewer connection, it exceeded the 25' of sewer hose I had available. There is loose stone separating each site. There are train tracks immediately adjacent to the lot and the train traffic is substantial with the occasional train stopped and the engines left running for an extended length of time. The office closes at 4:30 PM daily. There is shuttle service to the casino or to the rapid transit station, but getting back to your site from the train requires walking at least 1/2 mile to the desk at the hotel where they can call the shuttle.

Getting to the park from the interstate is quite a challenge. More signage would be very helpful. Use only as a last resort. We camped at Casino Queen RV Park in a Motorhome.
