Convenient to I-70 or I-55 and very nice for a one night stopover. Friendly folks at check-in, clean facility. Very nice area and close to St Louis if one wanted to visit the city. We camped at The Red Barn Rendezvous in a Fifth Wheel.

This was just an overnight stop for us on our journey home. I'm not a fan of typical RV parks and prefer state or county parks even if you don't have all the amenities. For this reason, I just rated this site as "Satisfactory."

The sites all have full hookups but they are VERY close together. The sites are paved and many are pull through, which is convenient. The park appears well managed and clean.

The location is not walking distance to any restaurants or other services. We camped at The Red Barn Rendezvous in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Full hook ups were great. No wi-fi or cable tv. Nice clean park with very level sites. I-55 very close but they put us back far enough the noise wasn't terrible. Very close to St Louis and very safe. Easy access for big rigs and super long pull thrus. We camped at The Red Barn Rendezvous in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a fairly small area just off highway 55 located on the frontage road. This is a safe, clean and fairly inexpensive place to park your rig with hookups and that is the extent of the park. Open cornfield all around and the interstate about 300 feet away. The RVs are packed in like sardines so you will not have a lot of space to your own. It is inexpensive, safe and fully hooked up if you have a nice rig and want to spend time inside it then this is for you. This is not the place to build a fire and make smores and go for hikes. It is basically a really well appointed parking lot. No WiFi but since the highway is literally right next door you can get great 4G connectivity and everything you need in the way of a store or restaurant or any other service is within a 5 minute drive. If you are passing through this would be a good choice versus a rest stop, truck stop or WalMart parking lot but as a destination to go for a camping vacation not so much. We camped at The Red Barn Rendezvous in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Red Barn has a few monthly sites available at $440 plus metered electric. These sites are at the front of the park, so the road noise is constant. The pull-thrus are shorter and more narrow than the daily area and the sites are closer together. The park no longer offers WiFi. The park is a little tight for big rigs, but it is manageable. Given its location and general lack of other monthly sites in the area, the Red Barn is a good choice. But, call early to reserve. Cash or checks only. The owners are nice people, very friendly and helpful. We camped at The Red Barn Rendezvous in a Fifth Wheel.

We arrived late and left early but the attendant was very nice and accommodating. Property was very clean, small pull-through spots perfect for overnight. No picnic table or fire rings but nice grounds, and hookups. We camped at The Red Barn Rendezvous in a Motorhome.

The park was very well manicured and neat. The sites were very good sized pull-throughs. GPS does not agree with the way in. Exit 23 was the smartest choice. Would stay again if ever in the St Louis area again. We camped at The Red Barn Rendezvous in a Motorhome.

Easy to get to and from the interstate. Interior roads are gravel and in good condition. Sites are fairly level and just wide enough for the RV. Very nicely groomed RV Park. Owners on site and work very hard to keep this place nice. No patios, very few fire rings, have to ask for picnic table, no patios and no carpets on the grass. Wi-Fi iffy at times. Cash only, no credit cards. We would stay here again. We camped at The Red Barn Rendezvous in a Motorhome.

We were told one rate on the phone and when we got there, we were charged a higher rate. The guy, I guess the owner, said the lady we talked to on the phone did not know what she was talking about, I assume it was his wife. Park was small and clean, WiFi was basically non existent, terrible internet access. Right on interstate, a little noisy. Nothing around this park but corn fields. Customer service was not good. Would not stay here again We camped at The Red Barn Rendezvous in a Travel Trailer.

This park is very clean and the grounds are extremely attractive. The sites are level with plenty of room for your trailer and car. The owners are friendly and helpful. It is very quiet even though it is right off the highway. We will go back again. We camped at The Red Barn Rendezvous in a Fifth Wheel.

If you find yourself in the St. Louis area, stay here, you will not be disappointed. Very well maintained private campground with great curb appeal. Minimal highway noise did not create an issue. Entry and exit roads easy to navigate. Large and level pull through sites are packed gravel with neatly trimmed grass. Utilities worked well and were conveniently placed. Beautiful landscaping throughout the park. We will stay here again. We camped at The Red Barn Rendezvous in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a wonderful campground. It is clean with full amenities and meticulously maintained by the owners. Although just off the Interstate, it was amazingly quite, even at night. Clearly in the top-10 campgrounds we've stayed in over the past four years. We camped at The Red Barn Rendezvous in a Motorhome.

We ended up here after leaving another campground that was awful. They answered the phone after 6:00 pm, waited for us to get here and were very friendly! The sites are large and plenty long for a big rig. Nice grassy areas and fire pits at the sites. No pet run, just an honor system that you'll clean up after your dog. Very clean, a little hard to find. There were few other rigs there when we stayed so it was very quiet. Large shade trees interfered with our satellite signal, but we were just there for the night, so it wasn't too important. We camped at The Red Barn Rendezvous in a Fifth Wheel.

Extremely well-maintained RV park with easy on/off I-55 just north of I-70. Great location for seeing St. Louis area while staying out in the country. Edwardsville is a quaint little village with a nice downtown, plus all the necessary chain shopping. The park sits next to farmland making it quiet and peaceful. The sites are gravel, angled, level. The restrooms, showers, and laundry are spotless. They only take cash or checks, which I love. We camped at The Red Barn Rendezvous in a Travel Trailer.
