We stay at this park every year when we come back to visit friends. It is the only park in the area but even if it weren't we would stay here. We love it. The sites are large. The hosts are friendly. Satellite and antenna reception are great. There are no showers but the washrooms are clean. There is no sewer but there are 2 dumps. The park is pet friendly. The sites in the shade are in the front of the park where it tends to be more crowded. This park also has equestrian sites and handicap sites. There are trails to walk and the park itself is large and provides plenty of walking area. Our wish is that it had sewer hook up and that you were allowed to stay for more then 2 weeks at a time. During the week the park is not usually crowded but people start coming in for the weekend on Thursday evening and some stay till Monday. There are also quite a few people staying in the primitive tent sites, especially on the weekend. - Connie's Co-Owner
Very attractive park: lots of space between sites which are paved, long and level. Friendly staff. Shared water sources make for long water hose hook ups for some sites. Easy access from I-90. Lots of grass and trees. Two dump sites. Very enjoyable setting for a brief get away or a spot to tour the Chicago area. - Roger H.
Very large sites. We stayed for 5 days in a back-in site. Lots of trees but no problem getting our satellite. Very well groomed park. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will stay here again. - rovingnomad100
