Pulled into site 113. Hooked up power, water and sewer. I was told that it was a 50 amp service so I plugged into the 50 amp plug. Turned on air and it kept cycling on and off. Checked voltage at one of my outlets and it read 38 volts. Shutdown all electrical. Talked to office and they said only 30 amp works. Used the 30 amp service. Found out at my next stop that the fireplace and the power converter were blown out and had to replace both. Avoid this park. We camped at Timberline Campground (formerly Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resor in a Fifth Wheel.

I was happy to find a park open in March, but I was extremely disappointed in this park. The woman who took our phone call was nice and helpful, but the park itself is in serious need of repair. The restrooms were as dark and dingy as you could possibly imagine. They were so old and broken down I couldn't really tell if they were clean or not. Also, the park is full of full-timers who were up driving around until very late and all seemed to congregate at the trailer next to us. We did get some sleep, but we will certainly find another campground to stay at next time we drive through. We camped at Timberline Campground (formerly Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resor in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

We stayed 5 days 6/30-7/5. The bath house right by our camper had no hot water as they were out of gas and didn't get the gas company out there knowing they were booked to full capacity. The showers by the pool were filthy due to overuse as it was the only place with hot water. There was no internet, despite advertising they have wifi, the whole time we were there. Two of the workers even came in my camper and tried to get internet working and could not. I think the regulars must have a different password for access as they talked about watching movies on Netflix all day. All the 4th of July activities were done on the weekend and absolutely NOTHING was done on the 4th, not even a flag raising. The store was closed early every day despite being booked to full capacity. I sat at my camper and watched person after person go to the store only to realize it was closed. Golf carts price quoted at $150 for 2 days and other services are so overpriced that we could not afford to do much there. Regulars run golf carts through the campground all day and night leaving gas fumes in the air plus the noise of them. At one point the pool had at least 50 people or more in it. They do not have a pool big enough to accommodate 330 campsites. The campsites do not have fire rings making them very dangerous to have a fire with young children around. We have stayed on 2 other occasions and had a good time so to have our vacation so ruined was a real disappointment. I doubt that we will go back again. People were rude. Kids and adults drove around in golf carts at all hours. Owner is rude to guests. Bathrooms are disgusting. On Monday morning they burn the weekend campers' garbage, polluting the air and breaking clean air laws. They put a few sticks over the top and pretend they are burning sticks. Don't camp here. Very nice campground, level sites, lots of shade, big pool, plenty of family activities. I can't give it five stars after my clothes were stolen from the laundry. The staff didn't use their speaker system to ask for the items to be returned until we pressed them to do so. Staff admitted they knew who took them but wouldn't pursue it further. They obviously have someone at the park with some issues. I wouldn't say don't stay there, but lock up your stuff if you do and stay with your laundry! No longer Jellystone, now Timberline. Now Timberline Campground. Smaller motor homes, travel trailers and fifth wheels will find this park satisfactory. High profile, larger motor homes will find low hanging tree branches that will cause issues. We asked for a low hanging limb to be removed on our site but they had no one to do it the day we were there. Luckily there wasn't anyone on the site beside us or in front of us and we were able to swing wide when we left which enabled us to miss the worst of it. We stayed one night. The road in to the campground is narrow and signage could be better. Many seasonal and full time residents but many open spots too, again for smaller rigs. Overall Rating:

The entrance to Timberline RV Park has low hanging tree limbs that drug along the top of our motorhome. Upon arriving at our designated camping site, we found a large tree limb extending half way across our site. I made three attempts to swing wide to avoid the branch and finally gave up, calling the office to get another site. The second site was OK, supposedly a pull through, but the exit side had a downward grade requiring that we back out on the day of our departure.

We plugged our 50-amp power cord into the pedestal, turned on the AC and left for lunch. Upon our return, we found the power was off and the coach was hot. I called the office and they promptly arrived and changed the breaker in the very old pedestal electrical box. That fixed the problem. The sites are fairly close together and there is a fire pit between each site. If you don't like fire smoke, this is not the place for you, because there are many fires at night: and this is in the heat of August.

In summary, this campground is past its prime. In its day, it was likely a very nice campground associated with the Yogi Bear franchise. Evidently, Yogi left and today it is in a state of disrepair. Hint: Trim the trees. Many of the sites are not level. Some sites have gravel, others are grass. Lastly, it appeared to be a good place for kids with swimming pool, bounce pad and pedal cars. We had a blast. We came in at a late hour and got quick help finding a perfect camp spot. I have five kids and they never got bored. They have a nice pool, a nice fishing lake, new mini golf, wagon rides, mascots, games and plenty more. They have a huge jumping pillow that was fun all day long. I thought the staff and the owner were especially nice. I saw happy campers all weekend long! I liked that the prices were affordable. My only regret was that we couldn't stay long enough to do everything this campground had to offer. I will definitely return next time I am in the area. Have fun!!!!! As others have noted, this is no longer "Yogi Bear's" but Timberline Campground. We stopped here for an overnight and were very happy. There was a lot going on at the campground. It's huge, it was busy the Saturday we were there, and there looks to be a ton of stuff for kids to do. However, the owner has expanded and has an entire new section that is back away from the front of the campground where the pool, playground, activities, campstore, and (that night) the DJ was located and as requested we were given a "quiet" site in the new area. This East section has large gravel back in sites and huge open lawn areas and was much quieter than the front of the campground. Full hook-up, which is nice, but we noticed several of the sewer openings did not have caps - were just open to the air (yuck). Also rather weird - they sold us some firewood up at the store, but when we pulled into the site we noticed none of the sites in this new area had fire rings/pits. The new section does not have any trees for shade so we baked a bit, but our site was large and quiet and we would definitely stop here again. Large Park...now Timberline Campground. Many FT campers. Large site for pull thru. Rainy while we were here, but drainage was good. Lots of grassy places to walk dogs. No Good Sam discount now, so they gave us military....even though we aren't. No WiFi or cable TV, but good satellite reception. Pool just opened, lots of play areas for kids. Off the freeway, but no noise. Small pond for fishing. We camped at Timberline Campground (formerly Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resor in a Motorhome.

"Do you have WiFi?" we asked before checking in. Slight hesitation, then "Our WiFi is provided by (name of company)," the clerk replied, and gave us the info sheet on the provider. When we couldn't log in, we phoned the provider, who informed us they had disconnected the campground after they failed to pay their bills for internet service for months. In short, the clerk lied to us. Unacceptable. We stopped at this campground in March - it is open all year. It has a large number of permanent sites and easy to access sites for larger units just stopping overnight. It has a pool and rental golf carts. Few fire rings available. This is no longer a Yogi Bear Jellystone Park. We camped at Timberline Campground (formerly Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resor in a Motorhome.

There is new ownership and the park is now known as Timberline Campground. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The campground is located away from Interstate 74 so there is no road noise but the access to the campground is easy. We found the campground to be very quiet and it was almost full. There are many activities for the kids and our grandchildren had a blast. All utilities worked great and the pull through site was level. One discouraging aspect is that they pack campers really close together. Wish there was more room to enjoy campfire, etc. The new owners are making improvements to the campground. There are several permanent campers that need to clean up their site. We camped in a 5th wheel and will return next season. While away from fifth wheel, someone ran golf cart or atv into side of fifth wheel damaging a 9 foot section on lower aluminum panel. They allow children as young as 7 or 8 to operate carts at so at this park. Since no one saw this happen owner of park would take no responsibility. Owner was rude and offered no help. I called sheriffs dept and filed a report. Officer wrote it as criminal property damage. Worst camping experience ever. Steer clear of this place. More of a trailer park than a campground. We called at 4:00 pm for reservations for the night. We said we would be arriving after the office closed at 8:00 pm. They said that they would have our site information posted outside the office door. When we arrived, nothing was posted for us. We had to find a site in the dark with no information. The next day they said they had printed it off but forgot to put it outside for us. During the evening, a group of people were yelling, swearing and arguing at 1:30 am. They didn't stop for a good 45 minutes. Then at 4:45 more people were yelling and swearing. The campground did nothing about this. I was scared for my safety and my children's safety. Needless to say we will never visit this campground again. We camped at Timberline Campground (formerly Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resor in a Travel Trailer.

Lots of activities for the kids. Bounce pad was super fun. Clean pool. Everyone very friendly. They closed the pool from 2-5 for ladies over 21 party, which I wish they hadn't. Hottest part of the day and the kids couldn't swim. Next weekend is teens pool party from 7-10 PM. I wish they would have had ladies party from 7-10 PM also. Site was slanted, but full hookup. Showers and bathrooms clean. They do need to clean up the place a bit, and update their putt putt (still fun but needs green carpet replaced!). Will definitely go back.
