There are many things here, but for us as an overnight stay, was not worth the cost. We got a 20 percent discount, but still pricey. It is large, well kept, not quiet. Think this is more of a stay put community. Nothing was bad, in fact they had many activities and things to do!! Just not worth the cost for us for an overnight drive through stop!. Check in people were nice. We camped at Sunset Lakes RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We were assigned a spot way in the back of the park, so close to neighbors it was ridiculous. We could not back in and the campers near us were a disaster. Junk everywhere. We drov back to the registration area and complained. Manager could not understand my complaints. Apparently no one visited the area. We were assigned another area, of course at a rate increase. We certainly did not expect the site we were assigned to be such a mess. This us a nice park, but not worth the price. There is no cable. I would not return. The site we were assigned at last had no picnic table, tho the one behind us had two. We camped at Sunset Lakes RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

It is just not worth the high price. Imagine trying to sell these sites in the past was impossible so they opened it up to general public.

Overall Rating:

Pricing reflects Coast to Coast. We really enjoyed this park. We asked for a site where we could get satellite and we were told they didn't guarantee it due to the trees, but they did manage to find us a spot. We really appreciated that. We stayed here several years ago and there have been many improvements including more play areas for the kids and a beautiful dog park. The office is very professional and helpful. We had a package mailed here and they were great about it. The main roads are paved and others gravel. We could easily maneuver our 40 ft RV and tow. The recreation center is very nice and the laundry was very clean. Weekdays are quiet with no activities but weekends are busy. We had full hookups and all was good. The wifi here was the best I have ever had at any RV park. I couldn't believe how fast it was. However, we were near one of the wifi boxes and there weren't many people at the park mid-week. The park was easy to navigate with a big rig and our site had parking directly across the road for our tow, which was very convenient. We would definitely come back here again and stay longer to enjoy all the amenities. We camped at Sunset Lakes RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This park is mammoth - seriously hundreds of sites. It is beautiful with well-maintained sites and roads. Key card entrance. It is so big that most people don't walk around they drive golf carts which they can rent here. There are 3 lakes and on one of them you can use paddle boats. They have an exercise gym with limited equipment. It is small but adequate. Downside is that for the whole park we only saw 2 restrooms other than at the community center building where the exercise room is - which was a long ways away. The site we got was spacious - there are a lot of trees so we had to work to get our Direct TV satellite signal but it was fine when we got the right spot. There are a lot of activities for kids and I think there is golf nearby. I think this might be now or once was "co-op" because there are a lot of sites that look like people "own" them and have storage units on them. They also have "park models" for rent. It really is a beautiful park but doubt if we would stay here again unless no other options. For our purpose it was over-priced. We camped at Sunset Lakes RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This is a gorgeous campground. We came after summer season, so several things were on week-end only schedule (restaurant, snack bar). Our site is huge, although the shortest in its row. There are all sorts of activities for everyone, including tennis courts, mini golf, jumpy, playground, a really quality dog park. There has been a lot of money spent on this place and it shows. We are sitting in the middle of a beautiful park with a lake, overlooking hundreds of acres of trees. We camped at Sunset Lakes RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

A bit on the $$$ side but overall a very nice park. We had a site with a cement pad on the end with a concrete table and fire pit. They had a huge pool, a bouncy pad that was overloaded. Everything was kept very well and in good shape. The only negative is it's a big park with a lot of sites so there are lots of people. We camped by a bunch of tents and they were pretty noisy well past quiet hours. Someone was also lighting off fireworks put they put a stop to that I think. If passing through I probably would stay someplace else just because of the cost. We camped at Sunset Lakes RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This is a very nice park. Several sections provide a variety of site options from tent sites to spacious RV sites of grass or concrete. Amenities are numerous with club house/pool, restaurant, coffee bar, arcade, tennis courts, mini golf etc. Everything is centrally located at or near the clubhouse/pool building so, that is a plus. The pool & pool deck are very large and clean with lounges & table/chairs w/umbrellas. There are several ponds for fishing, paddle boats and picnic pavilions. They also allow "day use" passes for a fee if you're not camping. We camped at Sunset Lakes RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We camped here for a month and loved it. We were parked at the end of the row so had plenty of space. So nice to not be in the middle of retail madness yet only 20 minutes to the grocery and mall. We were here before the peak season began and enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. Super friendly staff and helpful with any needs. Plaza has a great laundry, gym, and game room along with many other cool things. Very clean showers and restrooms. Roads and sites are paved which is perfect for rollerblading and biking. Also, has a nice playground for the kids to enjoy. Beautiful view of the lake. Hopefully, we are back in the area. Would love to stay again. We camped at Sunset Lakes RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This gated park was very clean and was easy to maneuver around with a large rig. The office staff was super friendly, as were the people who worked on the grounds. We stayed here for several weeks during August and September, and chose this particular place because of all the amenities and activities it listed online. We arrived on a weekend and there was a ton going on and we thought it was perfect. But then on Monday we found out that everything is closed during the week. The snack bar and store opened on Friday night and closed on Sunday afternoon, and the hours on those days were quite limited. From Sunday afternoon to Friday afternoon it was like a ghost town, which is something the kids and I did not enjoy. There are many, many insects, especially mosquitos and flies, which made it almost impossible to sit or play outside after 5 pm. And if you need anything, it is a thirty minute ride to the nearest grocery store. If you have kids, this is a great place for a weekend stay, but not an extended one. We camped here in a fifth wheel. We camped at Sunset Lakes RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Thank god for Coast to Coast or we would not have stayed here for $72 a night. Nothing here worth that much money. The grounds are very well kept but the staff can not keep up with the trash that some day use people leave behind. The internet is fair at best even in the Plaza where they day the have free internet. If you can get connected you are doing good. The sites are narrow with a grassy area in between you and the other campers. The lake is pretty if you look past the over growth of algae that is growing on all of the ponds and the large lake. We were in a 31 ft motor home with a 20 ft tow, the site was very large and could handle us. Nice park but if it was not for Coast to Coast I would not stay here. This campground is awesome. There is a fantastic building that is a store, restaurant, bingo hall, arcade, shower, pool building. It's a great building. However, $72 a night is a ridiculous rate to pay. We have 2 kids that were over 5. They were $6 a day extra. For what? We did two rounds of mini golf and a 10-minute ride on a paddle boat. (By the way - bring your golf ball. They don't provide one for you.) AND the rule of not bring your own firewood. *sigh* Can you please have dry wood then? Nothing but smoky lame fires all over the place. Our bundles were GREEN and very damp. The campground is great - but we won't be going back. Way too expensive. The kids did have fun fishing and frog hunting. We chose a river site - site 89. It was nice. However, across the road - those sites were very skinny. I would not stay there. Nice place. Used Coast To Coast extra for 50 amp. $10 for 3 days of Wi-Fi, they had different rates dependent of your length of stay. We found out that the signal strength was good enough for a tablet but decent for a laptop. They do have a free Wi-Fi in the clubhouse area that is fairly strong. We were there on a Monday through Thursday so it was fairly empty, but I imagine it is crowded on the weekends. Sites are small, but big enough for my 34 ft RV. Another nice weekend! This is our 6th year going for Labor Day weekend. We had our regular lake front site. Very clean campground with lots to do for everyone. All hookups were perfect. Pool was nice, and warm. Kids had a blast as usual. We will be back again next year. We camped at Sunset Lakes RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Sunset Lakes is a destination RV park for families. It's pricey -- base rate is $50+/night. We paid more because our grandkids came and set up a tent. This park has tons of amenities like a large pool, multiple game rooms, horseshoes, tennis, basketball, canoes, paddleboats, license-free fishing, a nice mini golf course, organized activities on weekends, and more. Everything is included in the price. They had a great fireworks show on the 4th July. This place was packed for the holiday weekend and the kids had a blast! Sites vary from grassy w/e to concrete pad FHU. Negatives -- out-dated showers, wifi is not free, some sites are close together. ATT had a weak signal and Verizon had a strong signal. We camped at Sunset Lakes RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
