All the negative reviews are spot on. They advertise WiFi and cable, neither of these actually work. The owner is not friendly at all. Owner cares about money. Recently increased their prices. They do the minimal amount of upkeep. Roads need to be redone, along with the actual sites. Trees are out of control and need to be trimmed, a rain storm came through and trees damaged RVs. The office staff and owners do not care about the people camping only about how much money they can get. The picnic tables are old and falling apart. The water is awful! It stained our sinks orange, and their showers are stained from the water too. It smells of rust and rotten eggs. Definetly not what water should smell like. I'd highly reccomend staying elsewhere We camped at Lehman's Lakeside RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

I think the park's primary focus it seasonal but we did have an OK site. Truth be told, I would not have wanted the seasonal sites as they were right next to I-90 with very loud traffic noise. Where our site was, you could hear it but not that bad, just a constant back ground noise. I would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Lehman's Lakeside RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

I am a frequent guest here. Whomever said the resort was like a "trailer park" was wrong. At the time they stayed last summer, Harmony Rd. was being torn up and re black topped, so yes construction noise. The road work was complete very quickly! Last year there were A LOT of out of state workers who stayed 4-5 months at a time. Yes the Resort was packed and the trailers on top of each other. With that many people, yes the dumpsters were over flowing, but garbage is picked up weekly. The property here is beautiful! The sites are on gravel, not grass. The trailer sites are about 4 tv's wide apart from each other. It's literally, "living in the Country." Quiet!!! The laundry facilities, and the shower facilities are immaculate at all time's! Minister's way from grocery shopping, and from I90. When you pull into the resort there are cow's on the right side. Goats, a mini donkey, an alpaca, and horses. The beach is always clean. Cute park, by laundry facilities. Beautiful ponds up top of resort grounds. I love it here! Wi-Fi could work better, and could use more cable channels, but I'd recommend Lehman's to anyone!! We camped at Lehman's Lakeside RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

The Illinos Rail Road Museum is minute's away, and once a year they have Thomas the tank engine day. Very nice gift shop. Donelly's wild west town is minutes away. Grocery shopping is 10 minister's away. Spring Hill Mall is 15-20 minute's away, and Woodfield Mall (large mall) is about 25-30 minister's away. Historical site's in Town/Historical home's.

Nice large campground. Lots of extended stay, but all very neat. We used as a base camp to commute to St Charles / Elgin Area. Long P/T with FHU. Rate was with a cash discount. Stayed for 6 nights and would stay again. We camped at Lehman's Lakeside RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

We stayed here from May 09 to October 09. It's a very nice place. Has a small lake with connecting canals running through the campground: most of the long term RVs are in this area. There are 2 smaller ponds. They have nice clean showers, a convenience store and a laundry room with 4 washers and 5 dryers. On certain occasions they have BBQs and a band down at the lake. This park is located in the country but not far from gas and groceries. We really enjoyed our time here. We camped at Lehman's Lakeside RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

I would have rated this park much higher if the admin people actually wanted to help people. Any time we asked a question, it was like pulling teeth. Unfortunately they are the only game in town that time of the year. This park was beautiful and under new management would be great. We camped at Lehman's Lakeside RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The staff was friendly and directed us to our site. The sites were clean and included a fire ring and picnic table. The playground was in need of repair but was still useable. The lake was weedy, but to be expected of a shallow lake in summer. The campground was busy but very quiet. We would stay here again. We camped in a fifth wheel in July 2006.
