We were seasonal for six years. Reason we stayed was wonderful fellow campers. The management and office personnel are not. Our electric never worked on our site. It blew a circuit board on our brand new camper. We got a surge protector and the electric fried it. Then we went and purchased a new one and that one showed we never were getting enough power to run the 30 amp. Never was it fixed completely and continued to have problems, until this year when we had no power all summer and had to move to another site. We were told it would be fixed, so we were waiting patiently for it to be fixed. The roads are horrible. All of them need repair and none of them are getting it. Electric doesn't work on many sites, the owner will tell you she will fix it but never does. There is a mound of asphalt (used) by campers there for the past 3 years. A health hazard. The water is not clean as it used to be. Has so much floating goose poop that you cannot swim in it safely. The rec hall where activities are held has a mold smell and our whole family would have reactions after spending time in there. They advertise free Wi-Fi and cable. However, Wi-Fi and cable does not work. When you mention this you are told that they are not going to fix it anymore. She advertises activities, and this year notified everyone that there will be no activities. They do not maintain any of the grounds. Signs break and they leave them. Playground breaks and they leave it. They do not put any money into this place and if you need to discuss anything with the owner, she hides and doesn't return calls or anything. When people move into the seasonal sites, she charges the people extra money if they have a deck or concrete pad. Don't get the site with the nice deck and shed. That is the one we had with no power. When there was the flood due to high rains, the water to the campers was infected with sewage water, and not for first time. Not a good place. They are letting things go and not repairing necessary basic needs. I just can't recommend this place. We camped at Lehman's Lakeside RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

All the negative reviews are spot on. They advertise WiFi and cable, neither of these actually work. The owner is not friendly at all. Owner cares about money. Recently increased their prices. They do the minimal amount of upkeep. Roads need to be redone, along with the actual sites. Trees are out of control and need to be trimmed, a rain storm came through and trees damaged RVs. The office staff and owners do not care about the people camping only about how much money they can get. The picnic tables are old and falling apart. The water is awful! It stained our sinks orange, and their showers are stained from the water too. It smells of rust and rotten eggs. Definetly not what water should smell like. I'd highly reccomend staying elsewhere We camped at Lehman's Lakeside RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Do not waste your money or time with this park. We were seasonal for six years. the roads are horrible. All of them need repair and none of them are getting it. Electric doesn't work on many sites, the owner will tell you she will fix it but never does. There is a mound of asphalt (used) on the area the call the island. Been there three years we were told it was to repair the roads, but has not been moved or used for this at all. As far as I am concerned a health hazard, first for the chemicals, second for the injuries that can happen when kids play on it. The water is not clean as it used to be. Has so much floating goose poop that you cannot swim in it safely. The rec hall where activities use to be held has bad order like mold and our whole family would have reactions after spending time in there. They advertise free Wi-Fi and cable. However, Wi-Fi and cable does not work. When you mention this you are told that they are not going to fix it anymore. She advertises activities, and this year notified everyone that there will be no activities. They overcharge for electric also. They do not maintain any of the grounds. Signs break and they leave them. Playground breaks and they leave it. They do not put any money into this place and if you need to discuss anything with the owner, she hides and doesn't return calls or anything. When people move into the seasonal sites, she charges the people extra money if there is a deck or concrete pad. Don't get the site with the nice deck and shed. That is the one we had with no power. I would never recommend this RV Park to anyone. When we moved in six years ago we had high hopes for it and we were told so many things were going to be improved, however nothing was done. When there was the flood due to high rains, the water to the campers was infected with sewage water. Everything was backed up and well water for people to use was bad. No one had notified anyone of this. We camped at Lehman's Lakeside RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

We arrived at 815 pm. The office closes at 8. We tried calling earlier in day but didn't get an answer. We reserved a site, we were not allowed to park in it because it was after 8. The customer service was terrible. I called and confirmed reservation a week earlier, no mention that office closed at 8, or that we cannot have a spot after 8. We had to scramble and find another camp ground. There was also a big, mean dog tied up at a campsite that was trying to get loose. Not a good environment for families. Road needs repair too. We camped at Lehman's Lakeside RV Resort in a Motorhome.

I really have nothing nice to say about this campground or the people who run it. The ladies that run the front desk have no personality at all, will not even look at you when you talk to them, no people skills. They need to work in a DMV. The sites for the campers are all unlevel, the roads are tore up blacktop and the spots are some kind of black gravel that tracks all inside your RV. No swimming pool for the children. I think it's more like a mobile home park. The water stinks so bad like rust and rotten eggs, stinks your whole trailer up. They say they have cable and Internet. I got three channels, and the Internet is worse than dial up. They gave me three different Internet codes; none of them worked. If it came in it went right back out 3 minutes later. They give you a list of rules like your some kind of criminal,

We stayed there 3 weeks. I will never stay there again; a Walmart parking lot would be an upgrade. Spots are all mostly in the sun. Everything they have in the little shop is 3 times the price. If they just had a smile and were pleasant to deal with; they are just plain mean and ignorant. Toilets were clean, showers were gamy and had a stench to them. Another post on here said the same thing about the ladies that run the office.

ps.......do not stay in this place. We camped at Lehman's Lakeside RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Huntley was a nice town with all the amenities you need - Walmart, groceries, restaurants.

This is more of a Trailer Park than a campground, I originally paid for a month on a space, but due to a family emergency, we had to postpone our camping trip a month. I went back to the office in less than 45 minutes from when I paid, but they refused to give me a refund.

All spaces are packed very tightly together, directly on grass in every spot. They require you to pay in full before assigning you a spot, so if there are any problems they can point at their NO REFUNDS sign. Although they advertise wifi, they will tell you they do not provide it outside of their office, even though none was available when I was in the office; then they claimed it was because of recent tornadoes.

The grounds are clean, but since the trailers are packed in so tightly, and the noise from all of the bulldozers and heavy construction so close to our spot, there is absolutely no privacy or quietness, only the LOUD banging from all of the construction equipment and trucks.

The management is very shady and dodgy, they would not look me in the eyes and refused to work with me. They refused to let me talk to the owner of the campgrounds. I read many NEGATIVE REVIEWS for this campground but unfortunately I went against my better judgement and gave them a try because they were cheap.

Word of advice, do not stay here unless absolutely necessary, and only for a few days top. You will have a much better stay elsewhere. We camped at Lehman's Lakeside RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Unable to sleep due to loud parties the first 2 nights. Paid for a week but did not get full hook up site as reserved by phone. When we were moved to full hook up site the manager wanted to charge us more even though the assistant manager had told us the price we paid was for the full hook up. Manager became very rude and unreasonable. They advertise lake lots, but they are for full time campers. Unable to enjoy the outdoors due to so many mosquitoes. The price is more than we normally pay especially considering the aggravation we received from the manager. We would not recommend this park at all. They cater to full time campers a lot more than those that are regular. We camped at Lehman's Lakeside RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We just got back from Lehmans RV Resort in Marango...REALLY disappointed. The place looks nothing like the web site, the pics are of the private gated permanent sites, not regular rentals. We got put out in the open with no trees, lake or creek. A general store the size of my trailer, and a 'game room' with 3 games (with 1 not working) Also,(I know they cant help this because of recent rain), but the place was submerged-soaking wet. They are expanding with another 30 sites...they NEED to spend money on the facilities. The playground needs work. They have a fishing lake, and the nearest place to buy bait is about 10 miles away! Also nearby I-90 was quite loud. We will not go back again, and I wouldn't suggest it to anyone. Oh well...better than sitting around the house.
