Overnight stay in a 43' motorhome. Rate is Passport America. Our site was 100' long, level, gravel 50A and water only. Dump station is at entrance of CG. Easy on-off from I-70. Called when exit from I-70 and owner waited for us and escorted to site at the front of the park facing south into a corn field. Nearest neighbor was 50' away. Utilities worked well. ATT service and Sat. is good. Roadway is hard packed gravel easy to navigate with a BIG RIG. Park is a mix of mostly weekend get-a-way campers and sites are customized to each occupant. There is a meadow with playground and a small ball field. Present owners bought CG from parents, who retired, and are maintaining a very nice CG. When going through this area will stay again. We camped at Timber Trails Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We have stayed at this park numerous times over the years and really like it for an overnight stop. There are many permanent residents but, for the most park, their sites are neat and well-kept. The large pull-thru sites at the front of the park do not have sewer hook-ups but the dump station is convenient on the road leaving the park and there are sites that do have sewers located back farther in the park. The owners are super nice - actually, a young couple have just taken over from the former owners (parents, I believe) and were very friendly and helpful. We were escorted to our site. All utilities worked well but there is no cable and we were unable to get wi-fi at all. The road leading in is gravel but relatively smooth and level. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Timber Trails Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This is mostly occupied by permanent, weekend get-a-way campers. A decent overnight stop with easy enough highway access and a very helpful manager. A lot of trash/junk/brush piles scattered through the park.

Quiet during the week but the crowd shows up on Friday evening. Feels a bit like you're crashing someone else's party. A few too many 'wife-beater' shirts and confederate flags for my taste. We camped at Timber Trails Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice campground. Fair (rustic) restrooms & showers. "Woodsy oasis in middle of cornfields." Quiet respite from madding crowds. At least two nice playgrounds for children. We camped at Timber Trails Campground in a Tent Trailer.

Don't let your GPS take you "overland" to this campground! Stay on I-70 to the Mulberry Grove exit. Very nice owners. Many seasonals. Nice pool. Utilities worked fine. Sites were long enough for MH and toad. We would stay here again. We camped at Timber Trails Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a very quiet campground, mainly in the shade surrounding several ponds. We called after 6PM on Sunday and left a message and expected the office was closed. Shortly after the owner returned our call, and said she had a site for us, but we needed to be there before sundown and gave us excellent directions to find the entrance. Once there, you follow a well maintained gravel road to the office in the back, watch for the office signs. We were greeted by name, and escorted to our site. There is a dump station along the exit road. We camped at Timber Trails Campground in a Travel Trailer.

A very friendly park located on a working farm. We had a long, level gravel pull thru with water and electric. There is a dump on the way out. Other sites had sewer, but not were we were. We had a lot of rain, but the site drained pretty well. It was also dark and quiet at night. We weren't able to use the small lakes which were open for fishing. We camped at Timber Trails Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

We used this park to visit St. Louis, which has lots of things to do. The Gateway Arch is a must, unfortunately, the museum there was closed for renovations. The view of the river, downtown and the surrounding area is excellent, take the trip to the top! We also visited Forest Park and US Grant National Historical Park. Traffic in STL can be tough, but we were ok, not driving in rush hour.

Rate shown is the Passport America rate plus $3 for 50 amp service. This is a very nice park. We have stayed here several times before and certainly will again. It's convenient to the interstate and very easy in and out. The staff is friendly and helpful and we were escorted to our site. There are a lot of permanent campers but the park is well kept and quiet. The roads and sites are gravel but well maintained and level. The pull thrus are large with plenty of room for our slides. We camped at Timber Trails Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very nice park. We have stayed here before and will definitely stay again. It is convenient to the interstate and really ideal for an overnight stop. It is mostly permanent sites but they are very well kept. The pull-thru sites are very large, shaded, and although gravel, very level. There was no sewer hookup at our site but the dump station was conveniently located. We did not use the restrooms this time but have used them before and they were clean and well maintained. Overall Rating:

Park is wonderful with ponds and a nice clean atmosphere. Campground security is ample. Wherever you go you are being watched. We were told there were only 8 sites for transients. The rest are all seasonal. We were encouraged to take non-sewer section as an area where the WiFi would be "Better". We opted for the slower WiFi as we needed sewer connections. The WiFi was useless, not just slow. There is no TV. We were able to receive 3 stations on antenna. One was PBS the others religious. The staff is courteous, helpful. We experienced a strong signal on T-Mobile phones. We probably wouldn't stay here again. We camped at Timber Trails Campground in a Motorhome.

Narrow road to office for 40ft motorhome pulling toad. It wasn't busy so we managed fine. Owner was very helpful and had our reservation. Escorted us to our pull-thru site. Couldn't get on free internet wifi. Our site was narrow, but not too narrow. Very quiet campsite. Most trailers seemed to be permanent long term residents. It looked like just a handful of pull-thru sites and all but one full. Only there overnight, but it was non eventful and clean. We paid $20 with PA discount. 50amp with water hookup. We camped at Timber Trails Campground in a Motorhome.
