A great place for an overnight. About a mile off the Interstate. The site was level and convenient. There's a small pond on the property and some nice rocking chairs about. - har-fl

Very friendly owner and extremely convenient to interstate. Easy in/out and sites large enough for short stays. - WayBro

Good location off I-57. The park is loaded with construction workers and there are trucks parked every which way. Spaces are tight and you share a power pole. Opened door of my trailer and guy next doors truck was five feet away.
There are two bathrooms and showers for the whole place. They were clean but good luck getting in. Would not stay here again. - Moose boy
May 2017 - $15.00
This is a very good park for the price. The sites are level and there is ample shade and grass. There is also a nice play ground for the kids near the sites. Pets are welcome and its lovely to leash your dogs and walk around the lake or the park itself. Theres a small lake you can fish at and is beautiful to picnic at. Bathrooms are nice..showers are HOT with good pressure. Park staff are nice and come around to collect for the site. Sites have a fire ring..picnic table...electric and water. The town nearby has fast food...grocery store..hospital..and walmart less than 4 mi away. - Spicer09

Beautiful city park, a little off the beaten path, but with reasonable RV camping, this worked. We overnighted here and didn't unhook. Sites were a little hard to figure out on signage, but level enough. Lots of playground equipment & small train for the kiddies. Camp office was open when we got there, so no problem getting layout info, but for late pull-ins, could be a challenge. Caretaker will come around in morning to collect. Large pull-throughs in basically non-designated areas other than looking for electrical hookup accessibility was a little confusing, but price was very reasonable for what you got. Plus, I repeat, park was beautiful and well-maintained. - kharmaquest
Jun 2011 - $15.00
Pretty park, grassy sites (that can get muddy with rain), sort of level. Electrical hook-up was good and Verizon aircard worked. Water hook-up was too far to reach. Some of the sites had the water near the electrical but ours were on different ends of the site roughly 70' apart. You may want to fill up your fresh tank before you come. - Traveler_2011

Campground is located in an open, grassy area along the side of a hill, but most of the sites are reasonably level and spacious. - Loki
Oct 2017 - $20.00
Beautiful park, spacious level sites not a bad one in the whole campground. Electric only with accessible water throughout the park and a dump station on the main road. Most sites are 30 amp but there are some 50 scattered throughout. Concrete building with outhouse style toilets the one we occasionally used was clean. Lots of deer, turkeys, water fowl and squirrels. Friendly host. Biking trails, boat ramp and some sites you can launch your own kayak from. Stores and restaurants within 15 min drive. - CCluff
Apr 2017 - $20.00
We just stayed one night passing through. The park is very large and roomy. Asphalt drives and pads. We stayed in the non- reservable section. We had 30 amp service. Fill your tank with water before entering the park. Electric sites where we were. Early spring and sites needed to be cleaned up. I used the pit toilets and they were clean. Roads and pads were asphalt. Sites were very easy to get into with my 38 foot 5th wheel. Cell service was good. Very nice boat landing. Would recommend to stay. - Camp master
