Timberline Valley RV Resort is a very well maintained RV park with friendly employees and great customer service. They even pick up your trash in the mornings if you put a bag out by the lanes. We'd have given them a "10" if it weren't for the bath and shower rooms. Small shower stalls with fair water pressure and cold water in the men's shower. One of the bathroom/shower buildings has showers that shut off about every 30 seconds. No benches in the shower stalls. The only benches are in front of the bathroom stalls - so if you are a senior and need to sit during or after a shower, you have no privacy options. And in hot temperatures, there were no fans or A/C in the shower building at the back of the park. The other one by the lake had one fan running in that one, but a park employee told us that people usually use the other one because its showers don't shut off every 30 seconds. For an otherwise great RV Park, this is a big deficiency. Unfortunately, we would not stay here again due exclusively to the shower issues. We camped at Timberline Valley RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here for a long weekend getaway and really enjoyed it. Plenty of wonderful amenities and super friendly and helpful staff. I especially liked the fishing/swimming lake - saw tons of large bass, carp, and other fish - couldn't get any to bite though :( Also enjoyed the huge field that our RV faced - saw occasional deer in the evening. WiFi was pretty decent. We were parked in one of the pull-through sites which was fairly level, although kind of humped in the middle. It would be great if they could just grade those a bit to level them out then it would be perfect. The pull-through sites are arranged so that you park so "patio sides" face each other - there is plenty of space in between so that is not a big deal- I guess that depends too on your neighbors, which we had nice folks next to us. The RV on the other side is parked a little on the close side but not bothersome to us. This campground has all the makings to be our new (relatively short drive) weekend getaway location. We really liked this place! We camped at Timberline Valley RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Very nice park. Beautiful location, although difficult to find.
Can see why families like to spend their summer vacations here.
Sites were roomy, level with services well located. A staff member took you to your site and helped you park.
would stay again, when the weather is warmer. We camped at Timberline Valley RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Well first of all and foremost let me explain how helpful everyone was. I have never had help from perfect strangers like here ever before! The most helpful and wonderful management and team EVER! We arrive past 10 pm and it was to difficult to put us in our slot so they gave us a temp site until daylight. We also lost our debit card and they agreed to let us stay until the card came in with no issues. UNBELIEVABLE!!!
Sites are all gravel and as level as possible. Bring your blocks for this. They are adding some concrete pads but they are not ready as of our trip. Sites are very close to each other but we had plenty of room for all our slides to extend without being right on top of our neighbor!
Pet friendly too which is great since we have 5 pups! Not to many trees but are surrounded by trees on the outside of the park! They have a small little turtle pond you can fish in as long as you release! We've seen no turtles yet but we have a few days left.
We choose this park due to its closeness to family. Previous reviews said it was hard to find we had no issues at all. Google took us right to it, Garmin, and vehicle navigation was not so helpful though so this maybe issues others have had.

Wifi was rough the first day but they may it private on the second and now it is FABULOUS! You will have to use their firewood too not to bad they bring it to you and pick up your trash. I love this! We have had lots of rain since arriving but it is nice here weather wise. Lots of permanent residence it feels like to us. We used walkie talkies coming in late and were lucky that the campground did as well and used the same channel we were on. They came to get us up the road. Our 5th wheel and truck are over 50 feet long so it was a bit rough coming in the Skyview Dr entrance but there is another entrance. Please don't forget to eat the Pizza King. Restrooms were tidy but not very handicap accessible if in a wheel chair. We camped at Timberline Valley RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

We had a picnic table but it was severely warped. Bring plenty of blocks to level your camper. Order pizza from Pizza King it was great! Don't order their bread sticks they were not good!

This park is a fantastic find. The owners obviously care about the park, and it shows. The washrooms are scrupulously clean, the amenities are wonderful, especially if you have a kid or two, with a lake, river access, a jump-pad, great playground and hiking trails. The Turtle Pond is also a treat! They have firewood and they deliver it to the site upon request (nominal charge for the wood) and the Wi-Fi is absolutely fantastic! Fast, always available, strong signal.

Definitely a great park and one not to miss when in Central Indiana. Absolutely WILL return. We camped at Timberline Valley RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The owners are hands on, friendly people who made our visit a good one. We had a pull through that sloped some, but not a problem and satellite worked fine, as well as the utilities. It was about 40 degrees when we were there, so not much outside activity. The wifi was very good. They also have church services on Sundays. We camped at Timberline Valley RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Indianapolis is less than an hour away, so a visit to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway is a must, the Hall of Fame in the infield is very good, and since it is May, we watched the practice for the Indy 500-very cool!
We had a good breakfast at Bobber's on a small lake/river in Anderson.

Extremely competent and friendly office staff. You are guided to your site by another super employee. Site very level and large, utilities all function properly and are well placed on the site. Park is clean and beautiful. Would definitely stay here again. Follow the directions the office gives you. GPS is confused. LOL. We camped at Timberline Valley RV Resort in a Motorhome.

A very nice park where you are not crammed in to your site. Large sites. The night we stayed the temperature was to get down to 26 degrees and the manager came around and recommend we not hook up to the water. I was impressed. We will stay here again if in the area. We stayed for one night on our trip South. The reception we got from the 2 young people running the place was fantastic. Really felt welcome. This not being prime season, there was water only at the back-in sites, but easy to get into and the manager helped and made sure we were comfortable on that site. Some permanents, but lots of sites open. I'm sure this campground is wonderful in season. Plenty of space, and excellent wi-fi. Sites are not on pavement but roads are. Access was simple. This one is on our list for the next time we go through this area. We camped at Timberline Valley RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We arrived late for just an overnighter, owners were very helpful getting us checked in and to our site. It was nice that they were open, even though it was the off season and the water was turned off, but we came prepared for that. Looks like a great park during the summer with lots to do. I wish we could go back then. Our site was a pull thru and all gravel. We seemed to be the only ones there.. We camped at Timberline Valley RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The staff were very friendly and helpful upon arrival. The park is very clean and well taken care of. We were there at the end of the season and stayed for one night, so did not get to use much of the facility. We were escorted to a level gravel sit on paved roads in good shape. The park has three separate Wi-Fi points that do not require a password, making logging on very easy. We will return next year on our way to Texas. Friendly, helpful staff. Large park with hiking trails. Sites roomy. WiFi poor. No cable and TV reception not great. Lots of permanent sites - some neat and some with lots of "stuff". Some sites grass only, but most gravel. They don't want you to use a mat but gravel not enough. Some paved roads, and some gravel. Park is quiet. Over-all look of park is fair. We camped at Timberline Valley RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

I probably could have given this park a higher rating but they put us in site C2 for one night. It would be OK if we were in a travel trailer or small motorhome but we drive a 42' coach with 3 slides. I parked the passenger side tires on the edge of the gravel and only had about 8" between our slide and the trailer on C1. All of the pull-throughs are side by side hookups. All but C1/C2 have about 6 ft of grass separating the units on the hookup side. C1/C2 has zero clearance so if your unit lines up with the hookup post you are zero clearance from the other unit. So if you are driving a big coach and they tell you they are going to put you in C1 or C2, go elsewhere. We camped at Timberline Valley RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Excellent customer service. We had a pull through site that was gravel and very level, but we should have asked for one of the larger grassy sites. They were more parklike in setting and not so close together. The other campers were friendly. We bought fire wood in the camp store and enjoyed sitting outside in the evening. The site had a picnic table and fire ring. We hiked around the grounds and along the river. There is a large lake with a swimming area. Bathrooms were clean and efficient but a little rustic. Nice level pull through site but a little close to neighbors. Workcampers that checks us in were great. Well maintained park and they spray for bugs. Little overpriced for what they offer but we had no discounts. We stayed as a stop over but could have spent a week here. Nice walking trails which river nearby.
