This is a small county run campground located on the White River. There are a combination of larger sites with full hookups (50 amp), smaller sites with 30 amp/water and a few tent sites. A few sites have a view of the river although the one we were in did not. The larger site we were in had a very level concrete base with a picnic table located underneath some trees. We were able to locate our motorhome to get DirectTV satellite service as well as receiving Indianapolis stations on our bat wing. The only down side to the site is that the sewer connection is located at the very back and we had to use 30 feet of hose to make the connection. There were very few RV's in the campground during the week days we were there and it was very quiet. The park's WiFi worked well enough for us. There is another county park (no camping) with walking/biking trails along with a nature center located on the other side of the river about 1/2 mile from this campground. We enjoyed our time in this campground and would stay here again if we are in the area. We camped at White River Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Walmart & Kroger's along with lots of shops/restaurants located a few miles away in Noblesville

County owned, gated in evening, sites shaded, paved sites, table. Sites are really spacious. Interior roads are extremely narrow but are sort of one way so not a real problem. Narrow roads make it a bit difficult to back into space and not drive on the grass and the trees could use a trimming. Real quiet during the week but understand busy on week-ends with locals. Downside - watch out for the rainy season since park will flood with almost two feet of water. Would clearly stay here again. We camped at White River Campground in a Motorhome.

This is an outstanding county park campground. The facilities are clean, there is a great playground, small camp store, a river, a pond, plenty of play space and great level, paved sites. The bathhouse is concrete block, but nicely updated. Far enough away from the city to see stars, close to a small town (Cicero) for groceries. The sites are not huge, but they are either on the river, or back up to a large grassy area and narrow pond. A nice mix of RV types and tent campers. Everyone was well behaved. We live 25 minutes from this park but it was our first time here. We will be back. We camped at White River Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Cicero has groceries and a small hardware store. Noblesville has a delightful square with shops and great dining options. Morse reservoir beach is okay. I saw you can rent pontoons at Morse Marina for $50/hour and canoeing is nearby as well. Conner Prairie is worth a day visit - 1830's recreation of Indiana living. Their summer concert series is outstanding.

A nice well-maintained campground. It had been closed the previous week due to high water from the river. They were spraying daily for mosquitos. Lots of grassy areas for pets and kids to play. We camped at White River Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This is a very clean park. All sites paved and leveled. Disappointed in the sites along the river, the website makes it appears that you can walk right up to the river and start fishing. This isn't true. The banks are grown up which makes it difficult to fish from. The pond is full of trash and algae so in my opinion it's un-fishable. Camp store charges a dollar fee on every transaction you use your credit card on which I totally disagree with. Overall it's a clean and nice campground and would stay again. We camped at White River Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This is a beautiful campground with paved roads to the camp sites. Each site has a level, concrete pads. Our site (#27) was full hookup on the river. The park is well maintained with the front bath house being modern and clean. The only negative was the restroom at the back of the campground. It is older, not very clean, and had shower curtains for toilet stall doors. There is fishing, a nice playground, recreation room, covered pavilion, and horseshoes. The laundry was clean with a cost of $1.00 to wash and .75 to dry. The staff and hosts were friendly beyond belief. We camped here for 10 nights and noted that the weekends were much more active than were the week days. We definitely plan to camp here again. We camped at White River Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice campground that is well maintained. Most sites are paved including the campsite living area. Many sites have nice shade trees. The main bathroom was clean and in good condition. It is at one end of the campground so it could be a pretty good hike. During our stay it was relatively quiet during the week; however, it became very busy on the weekend. Unfortunately the group camped in the several sites next to us played games and partied for hours after quiet time began (until 2-3 am). The campground personnel does nothing to quiet those being noisy. This is the reason I did not give it a 10 rating. There is no 24 hour park personnel, only campground hosts. Know that while the website does not mention it, you can call for reservations and that would be recommended. We camped at White River Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Rate reflects weekly rate. We enjoyed this campground. The showers and stalls are a little "skinny" but clean. Only 1 bath house for the entire park and could be a hike from some of the spots if you walk. We were right on the river which was nice but I would imagine might have some mosquito issues. We had some but they were controlled by spray. Very family friendly. We camped at White River Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This is a clean campground with full hookups. We stayed on site 9 which was on the river. Nice spot to fish, close to playground and quiet. This is a great weekend place to relax, but not much to do. Strawtown Koteewi park, however, is across the street which has an learning center and trails. Also, the staff informed us they were changing their dog policies. You'll need to register your dog with vet's information and rabies tag number. As a local, we'd consider visiting again if we wanted a quick getaway. An absolute gem of a park run by Hamilton County. RV sites are generous in size and are all level, back-ins with mature trees providing abundant shading. At least 25 of these sites back directly on to the White River, offering a picturesque and tranquil site that exceeds expectations and offers lovely canoe or kayak access as well. The campground and facilities are spotless and well-maintained. It is gated with a security code at night, and the campground hosts and staff constantly are checking to ensure everything is in order. We stayed for 10 days, and during the week the campground was half-full while it completely fills on the week-ends. Although there are many families with lots of children on the weekends, everyone seemed to be incredibly respectful of quiet hours, and the park never lost its quiet and tranquil character. Free Wi-Fi was available, but only on the office porch. Lack of cable TV and Wi-Fi throughout the park is the only thing that kept this from being rated an 11 out of 10! We will definitely return. We camped at White River Campground in a Motorhome.

There is a reason this campground is rated 8, 9 and 10 exclusively. Situated on the banks of the lazy White River one can sit and watch the kayakers and tubers float by. The campground is spotless with staff and hosts that take pride in this county park. The restrooms, showers and laundry are spotless. Even over the weekend when the park was full, it was quiet and everyone was respectful. The sites are concrete, large enough for most RVs with a metal picnic table and fire pit. Verizon service was strong. Only about ten minutes from Noblesville were all the chain stores can be found. Price reflects one week out-of-state. We camped at White River Campground in a Travel Trailer.

What a "jewel" of a find for a campground a few miles north of Indianapolis. We stayed here on site 94 in a 40' motorhome and toad. Easy maneuvering in the CG; wide asphalt interior roads and new concrete extra wide pads. Verizon cell and our MiFi worked well. Could not get satellite signal because of trees. Friendly staff. We definitely would stay here again. We camped at White River Campground in a Motorhome.

Very nice park with concrete pads for motorhomes and trailers. Full hookups available and some sites back to river. Quiet and shady and check-in people are friendly. Stayed 2 days but had to move sites on the 2nd day as ours had been previously reserved. Many sites open but new guy liked ours on his last trip. Minor inconvenience. Would definitely stay there again but suggest calling for reservation, especially during the fall. We camped at White River Campground in a Motorhome.

Wonderful county park along the river with mature trees and concrete pads. Well maintained and quiet with a very good staff. Close to Indianapolis with easy access to interstate via highway 37. All sites are back in. For larger rigs and full hook ups, I recommend the site numbers in the 90's. First stay and will definitely return. We camped at White River Campground in a Motorhome.
