This is an OK overnight stay, the gravel roads need to be maintained better. Lots of puddles to drive through after a moderate rain. The owner seems to be obsessed with warning signs about hidden cameras and violaters being proscecuted. Does not give the place a friendly vibe. The lady who checked us in was not at all friendly. Having said that our site was level and we did not have to unhook, although I had to pull forward to dump in the morning. Utilities are located in odd places as others have said. We camped at Cloverdale RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

This is an older park trying to recreate itself by advertising pull through sites. This is true, but only because they have taken two old back-to-back sites and termed them a pull through....but without rearranging the hookups! This resulted in almost useless sewer, water, and electric. Likely a reason for poor 30 amp only service, i.e. old wiring. Not only is the electric old, but the hookup is not where it neefs to be: the kind lady suggested we hookup to the electric on the adjoining site! The water and sewer placements were also really useless. We did not even try to hook up our water and sewer. Luckily we had used a good campground the night before and had empty grey and black tanks and a full 100 gallons of fresh water. The above will hopefully help other people understand the variety of evaluations. On the positve side, the park was quiet and well kept. The Wi-Fi worked decently. The many trees prevented our satellite from picking up a signal...which encouraged us to talk and watch dvd's. It is what it is. Given our experience we would not likely return. Sewer, water, and solid electricity, even 30 amp, need to be offered at a minimum and this park does not do that. Narrow access road; hope no one comes the other way. We camped at Cloverdale RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed one night. Park only has 30 amp service, which is as advertised. However, as others have commented, with a single AC running... 13 amp load, the voltage dropped to 97 volts. Personally, I feel that voltages below ~110volts are unacceptable and very hard on the coaches equipment. The owner allowed us to connect to an adjacent power connection and the loaded voltage came up to just over 110volts. The sites were once gravel, but at least on our sight, very little was left. We will not stay again. We camped at Cloverdale RV Park in a Motorhome.

Do not understand the negative reviews on this park. The owners could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Lovely park with big roomy sites. Lots of shade, but our roof mounted sat dish had no problem. Yes, the county road leading to the park is a bit narrow, but no big deal and we have a 37' fifth wheel with a heavy duty truck. We camped at Cloverdale RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a former KOA, the present owners are very nice and have spent a great deal of money updating the park buildings, not campsites. The hookups are poorly laid out and the electrical service was somewhat weak. Sites are back to back and if not on the east end of the park, very hard if not impossible to level on. The entrance is quite tight across a culvert from a narrow county road. We camped at Cloverdale RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here in May, for only one night. We arrived in the late afternoon and left very early the next morning (we were on our way to the Indy 500). I can't give an extensive review because we were here only about 12 hours, but I wanted to comment on how nice the owner was. When he found out we were from CA and going to the race for the first time, he gave us lots of great advice and tips. We really appreciated that since we were "newbies"! We would stay here again. We camped at Cloverdale RV Park in a Motorhome.

Older park, but very well maintained. 30 amp power had low voltage during the heat of the day when everyone was using ac, but not dangerously low. FHU sites were level and spacious. Pond, covered bridge, trees, grass, and several lawn swings make for a pretty setting. Front loading washers & dryers in the laundry room. We stopped for an overnight, but liked it so much that we stayed another night just to rest. Interstate 70 noise was audible if you really paid attention. Ignore any negative reviews you may read about this campground; it's plenty nice. We camped at Cloverdale RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

I had read the latest review of this park and must admit wasn't quite sure what to expect. All I can say is WOW - this park is beautiful ! Yes, the road coming in is narrow, but highly visible all the way to the campground entrance - we certainly didn't have any issues towing our 40 foot 5th wheeler in. The owner is delightful - very friendly and escorted us to our site, which was dead level. Nice! The electric and water services are on the opposite side to normal but not an issue if you have your extension power cable which I would think would be a must for anyone RV ing anyway. The grounds are beautifully maintained with lots of new trees being planted. The pond was a little merky but certainly not smelly and we didn't have to drink or bathe in it so not an issue. The covered bridge is amazing - well worth the short walk to check it out. Lots of space for families to play ball if not in the playground. Absolutely no noise from the interstate. Oh - and there was no dog droppings anywhere! Highly recommend this park... Thank you to our host Anthony.. We camped at Cloverdale RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

I have never stayed at a campground that had so many rules. $5.00 extra fee for using a charge card and no receipt given for a cash site payment. Security cameras are everywhere as stated in guest policy. Over 20 standard of conduct rules on check in list. Old out of date restrooms just patched together. I would not return. The campground was almost empty when I arrived but I was given a site as far from the facilities as possible because it was the only level site. We camped at Cloverdale RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This appeared to be an old KOA. There were only about 12 campers in the entire place and they still crammed everyone in one area. We were warned not to get our tires off the gravel and if we didn't think we could manage that the owner said he would drive our rig. We watched as others came in and the owner would make a point of spraying around trees with weed killer close to the new arrivals, so he could watch them? It was just a creepy place. Lots were very small and cramped. We did not use any of the facilities as this was just an overnight stay. The roads were narrow. There was a large pond and nice grassy areas at this campground. We will not stay here again. We camped at Cloverdale RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Dirty old park with a smelly stagnant pond. Had to watch every step taken because dog poop is everywhere. Road to the campground is very narrow, pray you don't meet oncoming traffic. Owner seemed friendly but don't be fooled this guy will fly off the handle over the smallest thing. Only 30 amp electric hook up and that was intermittent. The electric and water hook ups were on the wrong side. Site was very narrow with old trees close on each side. They brought another motorhome in directly behind us. We camped at Cloverdale RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park is just a stone's throw off I-70. It is nestled into a very pleasant country setting with lots of big trees and well kept grounds. The access road is a bit narrow, but adequate. The tv reception is spotty, Internet was acceptable. The sites are gravel and the hook up are old, but the staff is refurbishing the park and it is a pleasant, nicely kept overnight stop. Peaceful, clean, level site, very nice owner, away from noise.

This used to be an old KOA park. The new owners have really cleaned it up and made the grounds very pretty. We arrived after office hours and found a phone number to call posted on the door. Before we could call the owner came up to us, opened the office, and got us registered. Extremely friendly and helpful.

They are still doing more work to improve the park but it is very nice the way it is.

Showers may be dated but they are very clean and free. We camped at Cloverdale RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
