Good overnight stop near Indianapolis. Indy doesn't offer many campgrounds, so we always stay a little out of town when traveling the I-65 corridor. Woods N Waters is a clean campground, with level and well graveled sites, and has good signage to lead you here. The property has mature trees, a pool, and small pond. Many sites are pull-through and some have full hook-ups. There are a lot of seasonal campers parked here, which always makes me feel like I'm intruding on a private club - that contributes to a slightly lower rating, but it's just my own quirk. This is a great campground, secluded and secure, and serves well for an overnight stop. We camped at Columbus Woods-N-Waters in a Motorhome.

We had to ruff it Satelite wouldn't wok in trees, I'm excited to see what life without television is like! Our site didn't have sewer, don't normally hook up unless I intend to dump. Unlike previous review long timers don't bother me if their sites are clean and rv's well kept. Level, clean, quiet, long pullthru so I didn't have to unhook. We camped at Columbus Woods-N-Waters in a Motorhome.

Nice camp ground. Planned out before big rigs but easy to negotiate. We had a pull through that fit our 65'. There seemed to be quite a few permanent rigs but the place is well kept. Only certain sites have sewer so check when booking if you need it otherwise there is a dump station on the way in. It was an overnight stop for us on the way north so did not use any of the facilities. Close to I65 but very quiet. We camped at Columbus Woods-N-Waters in a Motorhome.

Over all we consider Woods-N-Waters a middle of the road campground. Roads are gravel and several tight turns were needed to get to our site. Our pull-thru site was gravel and fairly level. No sewers are available for pull-thrus. We were not able to connect to the WiFi. We noticed a low rumble and felt a vibration on many surfaces both inside and outside our coach which we assume was coming from the nearby factory. The county road leading to the campground is narrow and had a sign that says "No Semis". On the way out we passing another RV going in the opposite direction and it was a very tight fit to stay on the road and not hit mirrors. We camped at Columbus Woods-N-Waters in a Motorhome.

Delightful campground, good dirt/gravel interior roads and level sites in the woods. Clean laundry in good working order. Wifi works sometimes. We camped at Columbus Woods-N-Waters in a Motorhome.

We have stayed at Woods N Water several times. The owner is a friendly gentleman as is all the staff. The sites are gravel, level and well maintained. Restroom facilities are clean and well maintained. The pool was clean and well maintained. All sites are water and electric with a dump station on the way out. Campground is older, but well maintained. We camped at Columbus Woods-N-Waters in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Good spot to explore Columbus, IN. and nearby Nashville, IN. If you are heading north on 65 be aware that I 65 is closed north of Indy. Sinking bridge, there is a detour, but it will add to your travel time.

Many seasonal residents but sites look clean and kept up. We stayed on a Saturday night and it was quiet. I called from the road about 1.5 hours away and the staff held me a pull through site without a credit card. Nice little campground. The heated pool was nice after a long day of travel. We would stay here again. We camped at Columbus Woods-N-Waters in a Travel Trailer.

Convenient to I 65 & quiet: good for an overnight stay. Camped in a 35 foot 5th wheel on site 24, which is flat, shaded, hard packed gravel. Room for truck parking. Adequate over the air TV. Small grass patch. Laundry & bath houses are clean. Did not use pool, but it looked well cared for. Staff is friendly. Short walking path around a fishing pond. Rate reflects tax. We camped at Columbus Woods-N-Waters in a Fifth Wheel.

First and foremost, I would not consider this a big rig friendly park for anything over 36'. Second, the road to the park is very narrow, with one low hanging tree. Once in the park, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the roads are gravel and just adequate, the sites are very close together, narrow and level. However, if you have Direct or Dish TV, forget it, you are parked under dozens of trees. Of note, if you want a pull through site (not many here) there is "no" sewer hook-up. Our site was just long enough for our 38' coach towing a Ford Focus. That said, once in the site, our step was in a mud hole. There are multiple full time residents mostly in pull behind trailers and 5th wheels. Some of these trailers are less than nice setups. We would not stay here again, but rather find something further south or north of here. We camped at Columbus Woods-N-Waters in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Didn't stay long enough to see anything.

We stopped by Woods N Water several times on our trips down South or on our return trip to Illinois. The campground is always clean, restrooms are spotless. This campground is very close to Columbus, IN. A very nice, Mid West town with things to do and see for kids and adults. We haven't stayed here in approx. 2 years and in that time a large manufacturing facility has been built North of the campgound. There was some truck noise, but bearable. We camped at Columbus Woods-N-Waters in a Travel Trailer.

We stopped on the way to Mississippi for one night. Was very easy to access with good roads to the park. Once inside had crushed limestone that was solid without puddles and pretty level even though the ground off the road was soft. Water pressure and power were good and we didn't try TV OTA. Wifi did not work but we were at the far end of the park. We did not use any other parts of the park. We camped at Columbus Woods-N-Waters in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here on our way to Florida in January. Very glad to find an open campground, close to I-65, to spend the night. The manager stayed in the office past their 6 pm closing time to check us in. We had a pull through site which was level. Their WiFi was very weak, and it wasn't because of overuse as there was less than a handful of occupied campsites. We camped at Columbus Woods-N-Waters in a Motorhome.

Located at I-65, exit 64. Off the main roads, but easy to find. Nice park for a night while traveling north or south on I-65. Staff was friendly and check in was quick. Park is well shaded, but is almost 100% gravel. Pull thru site was easy to get into and fairly level. Interior roads are some what narrow but constructed in such a way that big rigs can make the turns if driver pass close attention to each turn, and a spotter would be helpful. Water had good pressure, and there were no electrical issues. Only 2 full hookup sites shown on the site map. A fairly large number of seasonal units, but that was not an issue. Park has a good size pool that is open Memorial Day to Labor Day, and a nice playground for the youngsters. WiFi was available only around the main office, laundry and pool area. Told it is being reworked in the entire park and should be operable in a few weeks. There is no cable TV, and the many trees block satellite reception. There were many TV channels available over the air. We enjoyed a quiet night and would return to Woods N Waters. We camped at Columbus Woods-N-Waters in a Fifth Wheel.

Campground is VERY wooded. There is no satellite reception except maybe in site 87. We were not able to get much off the antenna either. Nice pool. There are a lot of permanent campers. The dump is a hole in the road. The road leaving to the campground is very narrow. I wouldn't want to meet another RV coming the other way. We camped at Columbus Woods-N-Waters in a Motorhome.

Nice, neat campground. Turns were a bit tight for our RV and sites were too close together but the setting was nice-trees, shade. We only were there for the night so didn't really use the amenities much. TV and WiFi not good as in most campgrounds today. Staff was pleasant. We would stay here again and maybe ask for a bigger site. We camped at Columbus Woods-N-Waters in a Motorhome.
