Everything worked. Large sites. Easy to get in and out of sites. Rate reflected the weekly rate plus one extra day. Would stay here again. We camped at Elkhart Campground in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

Rate based on 14 Nights and Good Sam Discount. Sites: Grass with table (ask for a fire pit). We were in the sites that didn't have cable (other sights did). Great site for satellite. Also locals antennae. Utilities good. WiFi good. They were close together, but we were able to get our awnings out. Long enough for rig and truck. No dog run, just an area for the dogs to be walked. Great location to see sights in the area. Make sure to go to the Visitors Bureau to pick up a free CD and map for a riding tour of the area. Would return again We camped at Elkhart Campground in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

We were here for a rally and had a fairly level site on grass, that had 3" of standing water under our camper from a heavy rain. Electric and sewer were fine, water was very hard. Wi-Fi was sporadic, as there were problems with the repeater in the rally area. Beware of the dead end streets. Good building for rally. We camped at Elkhart Campground in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $31.00
Great location to see areas of Elkhart, Goshen, South Bend, and Middlebury, IN. The park has grass sites mostly with decent site sizes. The owners are very nice and are trying hard, however they need to improve the WiFi access and connection service. We camped at Elkhart Campground in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

Rate includes 10% Good Sam discount and $2 a night cable charge. Section 700 sites with cable have trees preventing you from getting a satellite signal although the person checking us in assured us we would be able to get a signal. We moved to section 300 and had no problem. So you can have shade or satellite signal. This camp is close to shopping in town and to the RV museum. They speed bumps in the campground are real killers. They have a nice pool and are pet friendly. We camped at Elkhart Campground in a Motorhome.Undo

This is a big park. Strong power, good sewer hookup, and ALL city water in Elkhart is just awful. Roads, some asphalt some gravel. Pads are very solid grass; there is a base under them so, no problems. If you are a big rig it is great, wide spots easy turns. Although watch your exit for dead ends. We camp here each year as our coach is in for service. This is the first time I looked at the showers and rest rooms. They are old, old, old, and need updating. Our 45' rig was very happy here. Clean campground with friendly host and hostess. We stay here each time we visit Elkhart when we bring our motorhome to get serviced at the Phoenix Cruiser dealership. We camped at Elkhart Campground in a Motorhome.Undo

The rate shown is for full hook-up with 50 amp service and the Good Sam discount taken. We have stayed here in the past and had been reasonably pleased. This time we were assigned site 415. Once parked we discovered the roads for this section of pull-throughs are dead ends. Be aware that if you park in sites 210 -219, 310 -319 or 410 -419 you will need to make a 120 degree turn on to a narrow road to get out of your site. This issue aside, this is a $40 campground worth $20. We camped at Elkhart Campground in a Motorhome.Undo

Having read good reviews we chose Elkhart Campground as a place to stay for 4 nights and we were not disappointed. It is a spacious, clean and well-maintained campground with long, level, grass sites. The interior roads are paved/gravel and are easy to maneuver. The laundry room is clean and well-equipped but we wondered if it was adequate for the size of the campground. The campground is convenient to lots of major shopping, restaurants, and fuel about 1 mile down the road. We ventured to the RV factories, Notre Dame University, the Amish area and the MH/RV Hall of Fame which were easy to get to from the campground. Using Exit 92 from I-80/90 the campground is only 1 mile on State Highway 19. The price we paid reflect a Good Sam discount. We camped at Elkhart Campground in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

Rate reflects Good Sam discount. If you need to say in the Elkhart area, your choices for a decent RV park are somewhat limited. This is a quite nice park, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Sites are spaced adequately, and are either gravel or grass sites. Site was mostly level. Our cable connection didn't work so we ran a line to the neighboring site. Wifi was weak or non-existent where we were located. Dear RV park owners, please, if you are going to say you provide wifi, please do. We would stay here again. We camped at Elkhart Campground in a Motorhome.Undo

This was our second time to stay here and it was another pleasant stay. Management is very friendly and helpful. Office is open 9 to 9. I had a problem with 1 leg of the 50 amp service and the owner came over and replaced the receptacle and everything was fine then. Water pressure was good and so was voltage. Site was a long, level, hard grassy pull-through. Plenty of eating places close by, great grocery store Martin's within a mile. Also, plenty of close fuel stations. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Elkhart Campground in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $36.00
This campground is well organized for its size and is close to I-80. If you are in the back row, you will hear road noise. The price is with the Escapees 15% discount and is for 50 amp power, which was extra. Cable TV is an additional $2 and not worth it. Reception isn't clear and channels are limited. Wi-Fi is free but is unreliable and very slow if you get connected. We camped at Elkhart Campground in a Motorhome.Undo

Stayed here 3 nights in a in a full hookup pull-through site. Well shaded, excellent space and interior roads. Level grassy sites. Well maintained grounds. The few permanent sites appeared to be employees and were tidy and well decorated. Meeting halls would support a rally. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Very convenient to Elkhart, the RV Museum, and the Heritage Trail. We camped at Elkhart Campground in a Motorhome.Undo

In 60 years of camping, I've never had to ring a doorbell at 3:30 in the afternoon to get into the Office. A few minutes later a lady stuck her head out of the 2nd floor window and said, "What do you want?" When we responded that we would like a campsite, she said she'd be right down. Five minutes later she unlocked the door (we were just about ready to leave). This is not a good start! Overall the campground is clean, though grass was far from being mowed. Their website & Good Sam listing claims Mini Golf, Horseshoes, Basketball & Tennis Courts. Once upon a time there may have been Mini Golf. Today there are indentations in the ground. The Courts are overgrown with weeds. No nets. Horseshoe court is overgrown as well. Banquet Halls and other halls may exist in locked building, but sure isn't what they make it sound like. Bathrooms were new, but as other reviews said, showers were not friendly to use: no place to hang things, nowhere to sit, nothing to stand on to keep out of the water. Only 2 sinks in bathrooms. It appeared the owners' families were primary users of the playground and pool. Yes, there were a 'few' picnic tables - not enough to service every site. WiFi was marginal at best. This might have been a nice place years ago, but it has fallen into less than ideal conditions. Its ratings do not reflect these current conditions. A nice campground - well-managed and surprisingly quiet for its size, considering that many RV's go out for maintenance at the many area garages each week. Elkhart is the RV capital of the U.S., after all! The main interior roads were paved, then gravel to individual site roadways. Roads were well-maintained, as was the rest of the facility. Sites were grass with a good gravel base, and fairly level - no problem getting straight-up with our jacks. The full hookups included 50-amp power that was strong, and good water pressure. Picnic tables resided at most sites, and they would bring one if requested - same with fire pits, although they didn't seem to be used much here. Spacing between sites was too tight to suit us. Sites were long enough to accommodate a large coach and car. Verizon reception was strong to our phones and amplified Hotspot. I tried the park's WiFi but didn't have any luck connecting. Bathrooms and showers were a bit dated, but clean and usable. The laundry room included 6 washers, 6 dryers and a small folding table. There was a walking trail around the campground that we didn't get a chance to explore. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a grocery store just a few miles down the road, and other services were not much further. We would gladly come back here again. We camped at Elkhart Campground in a Motorhome.Undo
