Our site was great... patio with fire-pit. Grounds very clean, they picked up your trash each morning..( sometime twice). Staff extremely nice. Pool was great. The only thing I can say against the park is there are only one set of showers by the pool. If you are on the far side of park... a walk in the morning. A little higher priced, but we enjoyed our stay!! We camped at Indianapolis KOA in a Motorhome.

I am located on a deluxe site across the creek from the office & pool (Section D). Huge sites with some shade. Good 50 amps and sewer & water appropriately placed. Very quiet away from the pool. Friendly and helpful personnel. Good location. We camped at Indianapolis KOA in a Motorhome.

This is a typical older KOA with narrow sites for big rigs. This park has a tough entrance where you have to swing very wide to the right to get to the office. There are plentiful activites, but we only stayed one night so we didn't utilize them. Our site required navigating between 2 large trees to exit. We camped at Indianapolis KOA in a Motorhome.

Delightful campground with pizza delivery to your rig. They upgraded us to a premier site with a patio and picnic table at no extra cost. It was clean and we would stay here again when passing through the area. We camped at Indianapolis KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

We feel this campground is overpriced for the type of sites you get for your $. However this in not uncommon with many KOAs. We spent several weeks at this park due to business needs in the area with 4 stays during the year. It is close to Indianapolis and is the best choice overall. The interior roads can be rough and narrow depending on what site you get. We parked across the creek from the office in a long pull through and woke up one morning in April to 6" of water all over our site. We relocated on the south side of the creek to a back in site without any problems for the rest of our stays. The staff is very nice and the park is kept clean. The monthly rate we paid during one stay was $25/night with full hookups. A pet owner beside us didn't pick up after his 3 dogs..that wandered over to under our slide our close to the utility hookups. We camped at Indianapolis KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Indianapolis offers many activities. If you take Mount Comfort RD North eventually you will come to Hamilton Commons at Exit 10 on I-69, this is a very nice open air shopping area. The next exit South on I-69 has a new IKEA store on the east side of the highway.

Another ridiculously expensive KOA for overnighters. KOA should have a different pricing system for those of us who just need an overnight stay. We camped at Indianapolis KOA in a Travel Trailer.

We are on a four month trip from Tucson to Maine and down the East Coast and Indy was our first destination for an extended stay. This RV park is close to Indy, and provided us with a very comfortable stay. Staff was, each and every time of interaction, very friendly, helpful and professional. The park is semi-shaded with level gravel sites & full hookups. Each is very long and separated well from your neighbors on each side. The pool area, although we didn't use it, is really nice offering a great deal of fun features for kids to enjoy--it appeared clean and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again if in this area. We camped at Indianapolis KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

This CG is east of the city. It has a pleasant feel to it especially in the deluxe sites. There are two entrances. The back entrance behind a dealership requires you go over a bridge once you're inside the CG. The bridge is fine but that may freak you a bit in a big rig. From either entrance, you enter between two buildings which is a little strange. When you're nearing the office, there is a sign that says to stay wide. Stay wide! Our site was deluxe site 33. We specifically asked for a site where we could get satellite reception and this was the one. We moved back and forth in the site and thought we locked on but as the nite went on, it kept dropping the signal. Just to get the inadequate signal we were way beyond the patio. Not ideal. Two sewer outlets. Electric and water fine. Huge dog park. One of the nicest pools we've seen. Wifi was pretty good and stable. Could really be made more attractive with the use of a little round up for weed control. There is substantial road noise. With all that we would stay again. Office staff very nice. Choices are minimal in the area. We camped at Indianapolis KOA in a Motorhome.

This was our fifth stay at this expensive KOA. The first two were very nice but things change. Our reservation, made 3 weeks before our stay, said, "Back In, 50/30 Amps, Full Hookups. Great back-in sites with patio! These sites are on the main side of the camp near the office, pool, bathrooms, and game room." That description was printed on our confirmation. Upon arrival, we were assigned a site 6 tenths of a mile away from the pool and game room, and I have no idea where the nearest bathrooms were. The young lady checking me in didn't bat and eye at the difference, just shrugged. The expensive new pool is 3 feet deep at the deepest end and is clearly designed only for small children, not the 3 to 5 foot rectangle they had before. I thought this was one of the good KOAs but now I'm fairly certain we'll pass it by. It has some really nice sites out back, both shaded and open. But if you can not count on getting the kind of site you request, and considering the prices, it's difficult to praise the management or look forward to another stay here. We camped at Indianapolis KOA in a Motorhome.

Were in older section and back in, which we would recommend. Enter via Mount Comfort RV entrance. Heavy rains during stay completely flooded the "new" section downhill. Staff seems to be in their teens and no older.

Convenient to Indianapolis and it seems only choice in town. WI-FI spotty to non existent, needed jetpack and AT&T hotspot to supplement. Pool only for kids due to change to water park, no swimming!!! Laundry OK, older equipment, but acceptable. Site long enough for 33' MH and Mini Cooper. We camped at Indianapolis KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Shopping 15 minutes away on US 40/ Washington Street. Heidelberg Haus 15 minutes away can be recommended for German Food and snacks, self made bread and cakes. Claus' German Sausage 20 minutes away can also be highly recommended, as they make their own fresh meats and sausages.

My wife and I stayed here while we were in town working. We had reservations 2 months in advance. We asked to be placed near the restrooms if possible given my wife's disability. We traveled from Florida and the person that we made reservations with said that that would be no problem. When we arrived it was a totally different story there was one area devoted to monthly visitors and it was in the other section of the campground far from walking distance from the bathroom. Golf carts are not allowed in the park unless you are one of the owners children who drive them recklessly throughout the park. There is only one restroom in the whole Campground and it is adjoining the office. The management staff which is late teens to young adults in age are not worldly enough to accommodate travelers who are not willing to accept accommodations that differ from those made during the reservation process. It seems as though the owners of this campground have not been involved with camping themselves due their lack of customer service involving travelers needs or fulfillment of their end of reservation agreements. The campground floods tremendously and the pool is not for adults unless they are interested and only getting wet from the waist down. We camped at Indianapolis KOA in a Travel Trailer.

We don't usually stay at KOA because it's so expensive and we don't have kids to enjoy all the activities. But the manager of this park was phenomenal. She spent over an hour with a couple whose reservation was lost, and they were exhausted. She searched the KOA database several different ways, called other parks, and finally came up with an area they could park their large rig, let them dump and take on water, and provided extension cords for electricity. We camped at Indianapolis KOA in a Motorhome.

Water/Electric site rate. Stayed here while attending a baseball tourney in Indy. Park staff is great, every area of the park we used was clean and well maintained. Our site was grass, but fairly level and did not flood after ~1 inch of rain. Some turns might be a little tight for a big rig, but manageable. Wi-Fi was the best of any campground we have stayed. This is an easy to get to park right off of interstate 70. Follow the signs across a small bridge and make a u-turn between buildings to sign-in. Be aware that many of the pull-through sites are side-by-side. So if you want to share your patio with the unit next to you, these are for you. However, if you are like me, I would rather have my own patio, which are provided by the deluxe sites and some back-in sites. Otherwise this is a lovely park. We stay here several times a year while visiting family, since it is better than the alternatives in the area, but we feel it is overpriced for what you get. The interior roads and sites are broken concrete/gravel, uneven in spots. Some places are tight and big rigs are best to avoid the office check-in area and come in the back entrance. There are 2 distinct areas in the park. The one closest to the office has smaller sites, but have been recently upgraded with small shared patios. The other area has longer, bigger sites, but no facilities in this section. The deluxe sites have concrete patios, some have swings. There's a new splash pool area this year and a new ice cream parlor. We camped at Indianapolis KOA in a Motorhome.
