Traveling in a 38 foot coach we stayed 4 nights in a site for big rigs. Staff was the Great! The Rv sites are beautiful with good space between them. There is a creek that runs through the middle of the property which gives this park a nice outdoor feeling. Big dog park. Sites were gravel and level. Great wifi for a rv park! If you are looking for a quiet and clean park where you can sit outside and relax... go here. We enjoyed our stay, and would go back. We camped at Indianapolis KOA in a Motorhome.

No matter how you approach this CG (it has two entrances) you will end up going between their office building and the Rec Hall so when you go to register - swing wide especially if you are towing. We took the first entrance after leaving I70 and used the road leading to Mt. Comfort RV so we had to cross a bridge and head back to the main entrance. Our site was easy to get into with our tow and the hookups were easy. The site was long and level with a gravel surface. Since it rained for the two days we were there we didn't use any of the facilities. But I was very surprised when we received a call from the desk inviting us to enjoy some entertainment in the rec hall that night. It appears they are upgrading their roads and doing so other upgrades. CG is convienent for visiting city. We camped at Indianapolis KOA in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

A nice campground with a weird entrance and check in area so pay attention to the signs. Close to the interstate so there is some noise. Site was very spacious and I had no problems with hook ups. Staff is present in the park working and the pool area, although shallow, was well-appointed like a small kids water park. I would stay here again even though I couldn't get satellite due to trees. We camped at Indianapolis KOA in a Motorhome.

This is our go to place while our motorhome is being serviced at Mt Comfort RV. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Love the big trees and country feel of the place. We like to park in their big grassy field. We were able to visit the state fair. We camped at Indianapolis KOA in a Motorhome.

This park has a great fenced in dog area. Large, fenced in, in the center of one of the site areas. We have stayed here twice. It is right off the freeway, but not too noisy, but a bit of an obstacle course to get in. You go in, cross a bridge, do a tight u-turn to get to the check in, then we went back over the bridge and to our site. That said, we enjoyed this park. Our Airedale loved playing ball with kids in the dog park. We camped at Indianapolis KOA in a Motorhome.

Site 15 is a long pull through. Gravel, grass some shade. Lots of dust from the roads. The roads are tight, especially at check in area. Again, "jack and jill" utilities. The 50 amp was marginal; any load brought both legs down to ~110 volts, sometimes less. Right next to I70 but not too noisy. Nice little store on site with good ice cream cones, pizza, etc. Lots of activities if that's what you want. Big pool, mobbed with kids on weekend, but park emptied out Sunday afternoon. Had words with mgmt about putting a mat on the grass, which was muddy. I told them that a little gravel would solve the problem but they weren't interested in suggestions. The mat stayed out. We camped at Indianapolis KOA in a Motorhome.

We stayed here two times over two weeks. The people in the office were terrific and friendly. The swimming pool - although we didn't use it - was beautiful and full of fun stuff for the kids. Sites were long and wide enough. BUT everything was very dusty. Had to was the toad both times after we pulled in. Signage to the office could be better and where to park while you check-in. There was a building between parking and the office and we weren't the only ones confused. I needed two propane tanks filled and the process was to take them to the office and leave them - they were delivered to our site later! Great service. As always, KOA is way over priced and this one is even worse than usual. We camped at Indianapolis KOA in a Motorhome.

Our site was great... patio with fire-pit. Grounds very clean, they picked up your trash each morning..( sometime twice). Staff extremely nice. Pool was great. The only thing I can say against the park is there are only one set of showers by the pool. If you are on the far side of park... a walk in the morning. A little higher priced, but we enjoyed our stay!! We camped at Indianapolis KOA in a Motorhome.

I am located on a deluxe site across the creek from the office & pool (Section D). Huge sites with some shade. Good 50 amps and sewer & water appropriately placed. Very quiet away from the pool. Friendly and helpful personnel. Good location. We camped at Indianapolis KOA in a Motorhome.

This is a typical older KOA with narrow sites for big rigs. This park has a tough entrance where you have to swing very wide to the right to get to the office. There are plentiful activites, but we only stayed one night so we didn't utilize them. Our site required navigating between 2 large trees to exit. We camped at Indianapolis KOA in a Motorhome.

Delightful campground with pizza delivery to your rig. They upgraded us to a premier site with a patio and picnic table at no extra cost. It was clean and we would stay here again when passing through the area. We camped at Indianapolis KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

We feel this campground is overpriced for the type of sites you get for your $. However this in not uncommon with many KOAs. We spent several weeks at this park due to business needs in the area with 4 stays during the year. It is close to Indianapolis and is the best choice overall. The interior roads can be rough and narrow depending on what site you get. We parked across the creek from the office in a long pull through and woke up one morning in April to 6" of water all over our site. We relocated on the south side of the creek to a back in site without any problems for the rest of our stays. The staff is very nice and the park is kept clean. The monthly rate we paid during one stay was $25/night with full hookups. A pet owner beside us didn't pick up after his 3 dogs..that wandered over to under our slide our close to the utility hookups. We camped at Indianapolis KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Indianapolis offers many activities. If you take Mount Comfort RD North eventually you will come to Hamilton Commons at Exit 10 on I-69, this is a very nice open air shopping area. The next exit South on I-69 has a new IKEA store on the east side of the highway.

We are on a four month trip from Tucson to Maine and down the East Coast and Indy was our first destination for an extended stay. This RV park is close to Indy, and provided us with a very comfortable stay. Staff was, each and every time of interaction, very friendly, helpful and professional. The park is semi-shaded with level gravel sites & full hookups. Each is very long and separated well from your neighbors on each side. The pool area, although we didn't use it, is really nice offering a great deal of fun features for kids to enjoy--it appeared clean and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again if in this area. We camped at Indianapolis KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
