This was our fifth stay at this expensive KOA. The first two were very nice but things change. Our reservation, made 3 weeks before our stay, said, "Back In, 50/30 Amps, Full Hookups. Great back-in sites with patio! These sites are on the main side of the camp near the office, pool, bathrooms, and game room." That description was printed on our confirmation. Upon arrival, we were assigned a site 6 tenths of a mile away from the pool and game room, and I have no idea where the nearest bathrooms were. The young lady checking me in didn't bat and eye at the difference, just shrugged. The expensive new pool is 3 feet deep at the deepest end and is clearly designed only for small children, not the 3 to 5 foot rectangle they had before. I thought this was one of the good KOAs but now I'm fairly certain we'll pass it by. It has some really nice sites out back, both shaded and open. But if you can not count on getting the kind of site you request, and considering the prices, it's difficult to praise the management or look forward to another stay here. We camped at Indianapolis KOA in a Motorhome.

This CG is east of the city. It has a pleasant feel to it especially in the deluxe sites. There are two entrances. The back entrance behind a dealership requires you go over a bridge once you're inside the CG. The bridge is fine but that may freak you a bit in a big rig. From either entrance, you enter between two buildings which is a little strange. When you're nearing the office, there is a sign that says to stay wide. Stay wide! Our site was deluxe site 33. We specifically asked for a site where we could get satellite reception and this was the one. We moved back and forth in the site and thought we locked on but as the nite went on, it kept dropping the signal. Just to get the inadequate signal we were way beyond the patio. Not ideal. Two sewer outlets. Electric and water fine. Huge dog park. One of the nicest pools we've seen. Wifi was pretty good and stable. Could really be made more attractive with the use of a little round up for weed control. There is substantial road noise. With all that we would stay again. Office staff very nice. Choices are minimal in the area. We camped at Indianapolis KOA in a Motorhome.

We are on a four month trip from Tucson to Maine and down the East Coast and Indy was our first destination for an extended stay. This RV park is close to Indy, and provided us with a very comfortable stay. Staff was, each and every time of interaction, very friendly, helpful and professional. The park is semi-shaded with level gravel sites & full hookups. Each is very long and separated well from your neighbors on each side. The pool area, although we didn't use it, is really nice offering a great deal of fun features for kids to enjoy--it appeared clean and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again if in this area. We camped at Indianapolis KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We don't usually stay at KOA because it's so expensive and we don't have kids to enjoy all the activities. But the manager of this park was phenomenal. She spent over an hour with a couple whose reservation was lost, and they were exhausted. She searched the KOA database several different ways, called other parks, and finally came up with an area they could park their large rig, let them dump and take on water, and provided extension cords for electricity. We camped at Indianapolis KOA in a Motorhome.

We stayed at this location for 5 days in a 28ft rig, and had a great time. The staff was very friendly, the facility was clean and we had plenty of room to move around. We stayed at site N-12 which included a concrete patio, fire pit, metal park style table, and wood swing. It was shaded for the majority of the day. Very nice and relaxing. Needed a longer power line and sewer hookup was a bit tricky, but manageable. Sewer access was near front of site, which required longer hose. Sewer inlet is above ground by 8" which took any grade/slope needed away. Very convenient to I-70 and 20 minutes from downtown Indy. We camped at Indianapolis KOA in a Travel Trailer.

This park deserves the high ratings. Laundry was clean, horses outside were a petting bonus. The "pool" is a full-scale water park. We could not drag the kids out until hunger forced them. No extra charges for children on this Father's Day "kids stay free" weekend. Was able to get one of the last 2 available spots only 12 hours in advance on Father's Day weekend. When we were set up, noticed they were making extra room to fit in a late arrival instead of turning them away. Definitely would stay here again, and not complain about the price. We stay here several times a year while visiting family, since it is better than the alternatives in the area, but we feel it is overpriced for what you get. The interior roads and sites are broken concrete/gravel, uneven in spots. Some places are tight and big rigs are best to avoid the office check-in area and come in the back entrance. There are 2 distinct areas in the park. The one closest to the office has smaller sites, but have been recently upgraded with small shared patios. The other area has longer, bigger sites, but no facilities in this section. The deluxe sites have concrete patios, some have swings. There's a new splash pool area this year and a new ice cream parlor. We camped at Indianapolis KOA in a Motorhome.

This is an easy to get to park right off of interstate 70. Follow the signs across a small bridge and make a u-turn between buildings to sign-in. Be aware that many of the pull-through sites are side-by-side. So if you want to share your patio with the unit next to you, these are for you. However, if you are like me, I would rather have my own patio, which are provided by the deluxe sites and some back-in sites. Otherwise this is a lovely park. We camped at Indianapolis KOA in a Motorhome.

Water/Electric site rate. Stayed here while attending a baseball tourney in Indy. Park staff is great, every area of the park we used was clean and well maintained. Our site was grass, but fairly level and did not flood after ~1 inch of rain. Some turns might be a little tight for a big rig, but manageable. Wi-Fi was the best of any campground we have stayed. We stayed 5 nights. Decided to stay here because of close proximity to I-70 to be able to visit family in Indianapolis. Access is easy from I-70 to Mt. Comfort Rd. The side entrance road is shared with the RV Dealer at the same exit. Roads are gravel and need some of the potholes filled in. Speed limit is 5.5 MPH, but you wouldn't want to go faster, anyway. We arrived around 6:30 PM on a Wednesday and even though the office was closed, they had all the site assignments on a nice dry alcove bulletin board. (Just went and paid balance the next morning). It was a record for rainfall for Indiana for the first 3 days we were here. Not the campground's fault, but parts of the CG were flooded from the creek that runs through it. The main entrance road was under a few inches of water. We mostly used the side entrance and went a cross the bridge. Though the creek level was up to the bridge, it never went over the bridge. Lady in the office said that the creek had not ever gone over the bridge in the last 12 years. She also said that concrete trucks and dump trucks full of gravel had been coming in using that bridge, so it was solid. Our site was gravel and perfectly level. A Pull-through with plenty of room for our 25 ft. class C & toad (another 19 ft.). We could park the toad on either end. New concrete patio, newer picnic table and fire ring. Wi-Fi is free with a good strong signal (no streaming allowed). Only negative, the water pressure was only about 40 PSI. Couldn't use the dog park due to the creek flooding, but the rain stopped Friday and by late Sat. afternoon it was mostly dried out. The CG store is pretty well stocked with RV supplies, and there is a RV dealer with a well-equipped store and service facility adjacent to the CG. The pool is being rebuilt as a "water park" feature. Rate is with 10% KOA discount. We would stay here, again. We camped at Indianapolis KOA in a Motorhome.

Firstly, this KOA has a very strange layout as within the park we crossed a one lane bridge, sharp, tight turns and the park was flooded in the area we were assigned. Considering the flooding, it would have been helpful if the host guided is to the site; however, we were left on our own to park in a marshlike, questionable site! We jumped from our vehicle and wondered if it was safe to hookup to power in so much water!!! The internet didn't work which was OK as we have internet onboard! TV reception poor. It is a very pretty location and quiet. I am sure quite delightful when not flooded! This time of year ask very specific questions about flooding on sites as our definition of ' flooded site' is not always the same as the host! clearly, we are not brave campers! We camped at Indianapolis KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Have used this campground 5 times total while traveling from Michigan to Florida. Made reservations 7 months in advance for a specific lot which was noted on the deposit receipt. Lot was changed sometime during this 7 months by the park to a lot that was under water when we arrived. There was someone occupying the one we had requested so we were place on the very front lot which is much to small for our 5th wheel and truck. Road is not paved and within a few feet from us on either end so the dust is incredible and sitting outside is not a good time. We have a fire pit.....too close to trailer to use. Our stay is 4 weeks in the spring and 4 weeks in the fall and at a 695.00 rental rate I feel we should be able to spend time outside. Expressed our feelings to management and apparently customer satisfaction is not a big concern! No cable, wifi is sufficient, grounds maintenance leaves much to be desired. Will not return in the fall! We camped at Indianapolis KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

I do think that this KOA is the envy of all other campgrounds in Indy. What a beautiful park. Opening soon is a new, waterpark-like pool. The showers are fantastic. Lots of trees. The RV sites are super long. The initial turn by registration office was tight, but there's a sign advising. The sites are gravel and have a concrete pad or wooden deck with picnic tables. The fire pit was nicely done with bricks. This park offers a lot for people to do. They have bikes for rent, air hockey, ping pong, a piano and family lounge. Love the resident horses, Fred and Rain! The staff was very friendly and helpful. This park is well taken care of. We camped at Indianapolis KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

The campsite itself is lovely - sites aren't too close together, it's a fairly decent sized KOA, although half of it was underwater when we were there due to flooding in the area, there were still sites available at a moment's notice that were dry and safe. There's a playground with swings and climbing structures - they really could do some maintenance on the swings and add a third one, but it wasn't too bad, they were usable. Next to the playground was a horse paddock and the horses will sometimes come up to you if you have carrots with you. The male is less friendly but the female seems to love people. However, here is my complaint: this KOA employs a group of young adult females who really could care less about the job they are paid to do, and boy howdy, does it show. They don't know anything about anything in the campground, and they are not going to be bothered to find out. And should you need anything during your stay like a question answered or to receive packages you have had sent, GOOD LUCK TO YOU, because they are NOT going to help you one bit. The manager, however, IS helpful, and DOES know what is going on, so just....if you have any sort of question about anything, just seek out the manager. Let's just say we had more troubles receiving any packages there than we have had in any of our travels, and it is because the lazies can't be bothered to even find out how the mail works there. We camped at Indianapolis KOA in a Motorhome.
