A different couple are managing the rv portion of the campground and they are taking reservations. You no longer pull in and take a site as most are occupied or reserved. We camped at Grandview Bend Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Spent two nights here visiting RV Surplus stores and going to the Shipshewana Flea Market.
Nice shaded back-in site. Water and Electric only. Restrooms and showers located across the dirt road next to the swimming pool. This appears to be mainly a summer fill-timer / weekend resort.
Passport and other discount clubs park along the fence on the left as you enter. Great value for your money in our opinion.
Only downside was we were not able to pick up any over the air TV.
As mentioned in previous review, reservations now accepted. We camped at Grandview Bend Family Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We pulled in and took a space of our choice. The sites are level and grassy. It was raining when we came in but the ground was firm. The attendant came by after 7 and registered us. They have about 40 spaces for us transients. The park has well over 200 spaces for permanent residents. The entrance road has numerous pot holes when we came in but a tractor is working the road as I write. The pool is pretty and the playground is nice. WiFi is good where we are. Only water and electric are available, with several dump stations on site. Large field of soy beans behind us and the park is filled with large trees. Clear paths for satellite dish pointing. We would stay here again. We camped at Grandview Bend Family Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed for two nights. The park is near Howe, the home of Howe military academy. The entire area has pretty farms and quite a few small lakes. The roads leading to the park were good. The roads throughout the park are gravel. They were washboard when we arrived, however, after a heavy rain, there was a tractor smoothing them most of the morning. There is a large inviting pool, but I did not use the pool. I looked at the bathrooms and showers near the pool, but I did not use them either. They need updating, but looked clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. This is a resort park that is owned by the members. There are a few sites near the front of the park that are rented out to others. The sites are grass with water and electric. Not all of them have 50a, but we were able to rent a 50a site. The electric appeared quite new and modern. Some of the sites are uphill at the back, but we made it work.

Shortly after we arrived it rained a lot in a short period of time, flooding some of the sites along the entry road. Just keep that in mind if it looks like rain. We had no problem with our site, but there was one a couple down from us that had standing water for several hours. The water is well water and is good. The dump station was easy to access and is lower than ground level making it one of the easiest dump stations I have found in a long time! We would stay here again if in the area. It is about 10 miles to Shipshewana. We camped at Grandview Bend Family Campground in a Motorhome.

There are many small interesting towns between Howe and Elkhart, including over the state line in Michigan. It would be easy to spend a week in the area to explore, relax and shop.

Park staff are very friendly. Park is quiet except for the gravel roadways that can be heard in your coach. Sites are grassed and fairly level, spacious and are all back in sites but long enough for Class A and tow vehicles. Some trees but spaces are mostly open. Picnic tables at each site. Outdoor pool available. Bath house for showers and toilets, but could use some updating. Easy access to park and close to available shopping and Amish offerings. 30/50A and water but no sewer. A person will come by your site and drain your black and grey tanks for $10.00/dump or a dump station is available in the park. Membership to Passport America, Escapees and Coast to Coast provides discounts. I would stay here again. For me, the positive aspects outweigh the negative aspects. We camped at Grandview Bend Family Campground in a Motorhome.

This is an excellent campground well maintained and clean. The transient sites are all back in and have only water and electric. A dump station is available and easy to get too. An absolute recommendation and endorsement for a no-frills campground. The check in process is different since you select your site, hook up and wait for the camp host of the day to welcome you and collect the fee. We camped at Grandview Bend Family Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Passport America park near Shipshewana.
PA sites are all back-in, W/E only. Some 50-Amp sites. Come early as by 6 PM most all the PA Sites were taken.
Grass sites, fairly level.
No Wi-Fi or cable, no over the air TV. We camped at Grandview Bend Family Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Enjoyed this park and Howe, IN also. Passport America sites are back in along the corn field with E & W. Dump in CG but not at site. Some electric posts are shared. One 50 amp and 1 or 2-30 amp hookups per post. May need long extension cord. Mosquitoes present near vegetation. Drive slowly because of dust from gravel roads. Also lots of iron in water and water has metallic taste. Fill your water tank before you go or have good filters. We camped at Grandview Bend Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Public sites are back in and are easy to access at the front of the park. The park road is a dirt road and very very dusty. Park is easy to access off US 20. Stayed here for one night enroute to destination. Lots of Mosquitos.....had a truck go through the park to spray. We camped at Grandview Bend Family Campground in a Motorhome.

When we made this reservation they told us that we might have to have two sites because of the length of the RV and tow. But when we arrived the sites that they have blocked off for Coast to Coast are on the as you drive in and can take a 45 foot with a tow. Some of them are on a slight hill so choose wisely and you will not have a problem. The ground are very well kept, they have a play ground for the kids....mini golf....pool and a kiddy pool. Tennis court and basketball area. The people that run the park are very friendly and helpful. They also accept Coast to Coast points, so the cost to us was zero. Very laid-back campground. Sign directs you to pick a site along the corn field and the owner will be by to sign you in. Sites were grass with water and electric. Paid an extra $2 for 50-amp service. Found a nice restaurant and a great ice cream shop in town. Would stop here again when traveling across Indiana. We camped at Grandview Bend Family Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a membership pk where people own lots. This pk offers disc. to coast to Coast, Escapees & Passport America. We stayed here for 6 nights w/ PA disc. we pd $14.50 for the 1st 2 nts. $17. a nt for the other 4 for 50A, if you only need 30A its $2. less, these are just w/e sites. For non members it's $30. night. There are 40 long sites, parked on grass, pretty level & ground is solid. It rained while we were there, there was no problem with water sitting on the grassy sites. There is a pool, free WIFI that was good. The gravel road into the park had a few potholes & needed some grating. Nice quiet little park to spend a few days, 10 miles from Shipshewana Flee market, & about 25 miles from Elkhart. Stayed here June 15 - 21, 2015 & would stay here again if in area. We camped at Grandview Bend Family Campground in a Motorhome.

A driveway with about 40 sites for overnight campers - used Passport America so got a great rate but it was just W/E. There is a dump station. If all sites are full I would say they would be tight. There is one 50amp and 2-30amp at each shared pedestal so be sure if you want a 50 amp that your neighbor is not already using it. The seasonal campers were friendly. The campground is clean and in a good location - about 10 mi from Shipshewana. We would return if in the area in the future and we camped in a 5th wheel. (The pool was closed for the season and there is a small playground if that is important) We camped at Grandview Bend Family Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
