The grass was high and there were some muddy places. The lady stated that it had rained every day. When I came back from South Bend the 2nd day the grass had been cut. They had also filled and leveled some of the sites so they are working on the campground.
Quite a few workers that leave early in the AM.

Free wifi worked pretty good. We camped at Maple Ridge Campground (formerly Beaver Ridge Family Camping) in a Motorhome.

New owners have really cleaned up this park. The E&W sites are all grass with some trees. The park is old and the sewer system is very limited. In talking with the owner, there are plans to expand it. Friday evenings there is a large campfire and sometimes s'mores. Owners are very friendly. The store is open a few hours each day. We will stay here again when in the area. We camped at Maple Ridge Campground (formerly Beaver Ridge Family Camping) in a Motorhome.

Nearest groceries is a Walmart about ten miles away in South Bend. The camp store has a few items and soft drinks.

We stayed there both going to and coming from the Forest River Rally. It was one of the best stops we've been to. The owners were great. And they added more new picnic tables from our first stop. On our way home, however, the mosquitoes almost carried off our motorhome due to the rain they had. We will definitely stay again next year. We camped at Maple Ridge Campground (formerly Beaver Ridge Family Camping) in a Motorhome.

Family owners live on site, but it's hard to get hold of them. I've had to call three times and leave messages each time. They don't work or answer phone calls on Sunday. Camp store is open 2 hours a day only. Wi-Fi worked well from the sites in the 400's. The RV sites are mostly level, and the 400's handle big rigs quite easily in pull through spaces. There is a small pool, but we didn't get a chance to use it. Closed on Mondays. The bathrooms and showers hadn't been cleaned on Monday morning, the floors were very wet, had lots of sand, and there was some weird black debris on the floors in two of the showers. I would not shower there. The location was good, reasonably close to all stores and services, and easy to get around the larger area. We camped at Maple Ridge Campground (formerly Beaver Ridge Family Camping) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The spaces in the 400's are designed as alternate-facing sites, so the utility posts are strangely located. This would probably work well for two-rig groups, but for singles it just seems strange. Also, if you and your neighbor both have slides, you'll end up mighty close together. For the price, I might stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay. We prefer full hookup but none were available, I think they only have a couple. Love the spacious sites. Wi-fi was spotty. Owners were pretty friendly, check in was easy. We camped at Maple Ridge Campground (formerly Beaver Ridge Family Camping) in a Fifth Wheel.

This park has been in business for 28 years. New owners took over this year, and they are extremely hard working. This is a beautiful little park with 3 playgrounds for the kids, a swimming pool and bathhouse, a general store, and a very quiet atmosphere. This park with the hard working family who now own it, will be a real winner! We camped at Maple Ridge Campground (formerly Beaver Ridge Family Camping) in a Motorhome.

Good value for money. Mostly quiet. A few full time setups that were very run down. Odd pool. Small and not open certain days. The family that runs it are young so their kids were a little loud in the pool area. Site wasn't very flat. All in all good value for the discount price. My rating was for an overnight when passing through on Hwy 31. Park was very convenient and easy to find. Office attendant was friendly. Park was very quiet. We parked on the grass at site 04. The permanent campers had neat areas. We would overnight here again. We camped at Maple Ridge Campground (formerly Beaver Ridge Family Camping) in a Motorhome.

The rate reflects Passport America. Convenient for an overnight stay, right off Hwy 31. There was no sewer hook up, but not a problem for overnight. The site was grassy and pretty level. We camped at Maple Ridge Campground (formerly Beaver Ridge Family Camping) in a Motorhome.

An OK Passport America park but not really our type. Thought we had asked for a 50-amp site but only got 30-amp through some mix-up. Made it through just fine by using our adapter box on two 30-amp plugs. Was a busy weekend since they had Christmas in July but the area we were in was quiet despite the activities. Would consider staying again but not make it a destination spot. We camped at Maple Ridge Campground (formerly Beaver Ridge Family Camping) in a Motorhome.

Our rate was for passport America. When driving to this park, be aware of the turn near the entrance, it comes up quick. When we arrived the park had just opened for the season, so they were still flushing water lines and checking electric connections. We just let the water run for a while until it ran clear and then put on our filter. The sites were grass and level. They did not have sewer hook up, but the dump station was in working order. The rest rooms were old, but were clean. However these are the same restrooms that would be shared with the pool when it opens, so not sure how clean as the season moves along. We camped at Maple Ridge Campground (formerly Beaver Ridge Family Camping) in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice grassy camp sites, fairly well spread out. No waste on sites. Pull throughs avail. A nice family runs the place. Negatives are that while they had functional bath/shower facilities, it is very old and decrepit and greatly in need of reconstruction. Also no laundry. Great PA for visiting Amish country and RV manufacturing. Free Wi-Fi was pretty fast. We camped at Maple Ridge Campground (formerly Beaver Ridge Family Camping) in a Motorhome.

This campground is located a little off the beaten path but it was very nice. The sites are all grass and somewhat level. The area is very clean and the staff very friendly. The area is very quiet although there are very few coaches here at this time. There are some long term stays but we did not see much activity. PA rate is $15.00 and $2.00 extra for 50 amp. Good stop over for one night. We camped at Maple Ridge Campground (formerly Beaver Ridge Family Camping) in a Motorhome.

A nice, Passport park which has level grassy sites, good WiFi, a pool and playground for kids. It's a direct drive into South Bend and very quiet. They do not have a sewer which is a drawback for us. Still it was good for a couple days. We camped at Maple Ridge Campground (formerly Beaver Ridge Family Camping) in a Motorhome.

Sites here are right next to each other, but there were relatively few folks there with us, in the middle of the week in July. The swimming pool is good sized and crystal clean, and we had it all to ourselves. Owners were very hands-on, friendly and helpful. Free Wi-Fi. We camped at Maple Ridge Campground (formerly Beaver Ridge Family Camping) in a Fifth Wheel.
