Our site was quite nice at this campground, but our overall impression was not as good. The setting is fairly nice with heavily wooded areas surrounding the sites and grass between. Some sites shared utility poles, which we never like, but ours was on the end so we had a large open area facing the road. The only landscaping was around the store (which was never open). The pool was cast cement with large chunks missing around the water line, it really needed cleaning and the pool deck smelled bad next to it. The bathroom & showers were nice but very dirty. They advertise a "pickle ball" court but it was just a net strung over a grassy area. In general they do very poor maintenance. Our Dish satellite worked fine. They offer free Wifi but it didn't work well. One positive note....it's very quiet. We camped at Maple Ridge Campground (formerly Beaver Ridge Family Camping) in a Fifth Wheel.

The park has NO OFFICE to go to with problems, small lots, DUSTY, too close to each other, you must have to share the area between you and your neighbor which is good for families, but not passer's through the area or staying for a week or two, and very very poor internet service. They rent to many workers who leave early in the morning and wake you up, there are people with big dogs, who bark all the time (owners don't stop it) they will say they don't hear that. They have many weekend people who rent all year long who drive by making dust so you cannot enjoy your outside when outside, unless you like dust. The owners don't care about the people who rent, just the money they can make. If you leave early, don't expect any refund, even though they Never said that when you book.

We didn't use the restrooms, so can't say how they are. The lighting at night is fair, the hook up's are all the way in the back of the lot, weeds were growing around them, could be hard to hook up.

Good luck if you go to this park, we will NEVER be back, and we tell everyone we meet to stay away, and go some where else. We camped at Maple Ridge Campground (formerly Beaver Ridge Family Camping) in a Motorhome.

This is a family friendly campground that has a large pool filled with happy screaming kids. The kids were having fun driving golf carts all around the campground. Some of the sites are "buddy" sites whereas you share your "yard" with a your next door neighbor which is nice for families and friends to camp together. The interior roads are mostly dirt which makes the camper dusty. The showers had no water when we tried to take a shower, so we didn't try that again. They have WiFi, but we had no WiFi at our site. The campground was full which is probably why our site had broken plastic ware, cigarette butts and general garbage. In the fire pit there were melted soda bottles. We most likely would find a different place to stay next time we find ourselves in the area. We camped at Maple Ridge Campground (formerly Beaver Ridge Family Camping) in a Motorhome.

Spent 4 nights here while seeing local sites. Lots of space and easy access in and out. We have a 40 ft. 5th wheel and had plenty of room. Quiet place and off the road away from heavy traffic and not close to a railroad track. The staff were very friendly. Would stay here again. Even though we visited over Memorial Day weekend, the campground is very clean, quiet, and the owners were attentive and friendly. Kid friendly, dog friendly, yet is was still quiet! I was worried that we were the loud ones. The bathrooms are newly remodeled and adorable, as well as very clean. There are pull through and back in sites, tent camping, and primitive camping. Activities: hiking in the woods on the property, basketball, volleyball, swimming (pool is clean!), playground, tractor ride, gaga ball, disc golf, and more, as well as activities like kid's bingo, etc. Maple Ridge takes pride in their campground and it shows. We'll be back. We camped at Maple Ridge Campground (formerly Beaver Ridge Family Camping) in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Campground store has super cheap ice cream sandwiches, etc., slushies, sodas. There's a Walmart in South Bend that isn't too far away.

The grass was high and there were some muddy places. The lady stated that it had rained every day. When I came back from South Bend the 2nd day the grass had been cut. They had also filled and leveled some of the sites so they are working on the campground.
Quite a few workers that leave early in the AM.

Free wifi worked pretty good. We camped at Maple Ridge Campground (formerly Beaver Ridge Family Camping) in a Motorhome.

We stayed there both going to and coming from the Forest River Rally. It was one of the best stops we've been to. The owners were great. And they added more new picnic tables from our first stop. On our way home, however, the mosquitoes almost carried off our motorhome due to the rain they had. We will definitely stay again next year. New owners have really cleaned up this park. The E&W sites are all grass with some trees. The park is old and the sewer system is very limited. In talking with the owner, there are plans to expand it. Friday evenings there is a large campfire and sometimes s'mores. Owners are very friendly. The store is open a few hours each day. We will stay here again when in the area. We camped at Maple Ridge Campground (formerly Beaver Ridge Family Camping) in a Motorhome.

Family owners live on site, but it's hard to get hold of them. I've had to call three times and leave messages each time. They don't work or answer phone calls on Sunday. Camp store is open 2 hours a day only. Wi-Fi worked well from the sites in the 400's. The RV sites are mostly level, and the 400's handle big rigs quite easily in pull through spaces. There is a small pool, but we didn't get a chance to use it. Closed on Mondays. The bathrooms and showers hadn't been cleaned on Monday morning, the floors were very wet, had lots of sand, and there was some weird black debris on the floors in two of the showers. I would not shower there. The location was good, reasonably close to all stores and services, and easy to get around the larger area. We camped at Maple Ridge Campground (formerly Beaver Ridge Family Camping) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The spaces in the 400's are designed as alternate-facing sites, so the utility posts are strangely located. This would probably work well for two-rig groups, but for singles it just seems strange. Also, if you and your neighbor both have slides, you'll end up mighty close together. For the price, I might stay here again.

This park has been in business for 28 years. New owners took over this year, and they are extremely hard working. This is a beautiful little park with 3 playgrounds for the kids, a swimming pool and bathhouse, a general store, and a very quiet atmosphere. This park with the hard working family who now own it, will be a real winner! We camped at Maple Ridge Campground (formerly Beaver Ridge Family Camping) in a Motorhome.

Good value for money. Mostly quiet. A few full time setups that were very run down. Odd pool. Small and not open certain days. The family that runs it are young so their kids were a little loud in the pool area. Site wasn't very flat. All in all good value for the discount price. My rating was for an overnight when passing through on Hwy 31. Park was very convenient and easy to find. Office attendant was friendly. Park was very quiet. We parked on the grass at site 04. The permanent campers had neat areas. We would overnight here again. We camped at Maple Ridge Campground (formerly Beaver Ridge Family Camping) in a Motorhome.
