Big Rig Friendly! 40' 5th wheel, tow with a Freightliner Hauler - plenty of room. Great park, lots of stuff to do! We were able to go horseback riding without a reservation, walked up and were added onto the schedule. All the employees were helpful and professional. The restrooms could use some TLC. The restrooms would make a great Eagle Scout program - some cost & lots of labor: scrape the concrete walls, repaint, new stall doors, and shower heads. Our site was very open, rooftop satellite hit a signal, local channels were pretty good too. Sprint cell worked fine. The site was paved, included a firepit and picnic table. Roads are paved and well marked. Everyone pays park admittance, even if you prepaid the camping fee. A potable water spigot was within 100', a dump station was available on the way out, 30 amp at the site. We camped at Whitewater Memorial State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Stayed at this park late in the season when evening are cool. It's a nice little park with grassy sites and a lot of well maintained fields and trails. It is pretty flat which is nice for leveling and strolling around the paved streets. Our site was a little shallow but once in it was very comfortable. Great place for families. The roads wind all around so can be a little confusing but it's small enough that you can't get too lost. We camped at Whitewater Memorial State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Whitewater is a very nice state park. The campsites are well maintained; however, the facilities could use a little work. They are usually clean, but need updated, repainted, etc. The lots are of good size with tall, mature shade trees. Most lots are gravel and fairly level. The playgrounds could use updating - some of the play equipment is unsafe for young children. Nice beach, boat dock and ramp, and trails. We camped at Whitewater Memorial State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Beautiful park and very well maintained campground. Sites were large with a picnic table and fire ring. Most sites had some shade. We stayed in a pull-through site (146). Plenty of room for both truck and trailer. We camped at Whitewater Memorial State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Nice campground and OK sites, but wow, the hillbillies are out in this park. I have never seen so many drunk people setting off fireworks in my life. The DNR workers would drive right by the people with their radio so loud at midnight and just wave at them??? It's pretty bad when the police are called on both nights that we were here and people left in an ambulance. I even yelled at one of workers (DNR), that were driving so fast through the CG it put the kids in danger. Not sure if it was drunk fest weekend or what, but beware if you visit here. We will not return. If this CG was better managed it would be a nice park. We camped at Whitewater Memorial State Park in a Motorhome.

Great Park. Nice mostly level, large, shady sites. Lots to do both in the park and in the nearby area. Wally's World right next to the park entrance and The Whitewater Scenic Railroad in nearby Connersville are two attractions we highly recommend. DW complained about the water in the showers not being hot enough for her, but she likes scalding hot showers, for most people it should be fine. We recommend it and will camp here again. We camped at Whitewater Memorial State Park in a Tent Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Just spent my first weekend here with the kids in a pop-up trailer. To start, I have to say the restrooms and showers exceed expectations. Very clean and the water was nice and hot. There were a lot of sites that were not level, so you need to make sure when you get one. The beach was nice and the kids loved Cowboy Dave at the saddle barn. It featured horse-drawn hayrides and music while you wait. There were other family activities and the campground host was very friendly. It seems Loop A is the most family oriented, loops B and C are a little rowdier. We would definitely go back again. We camped at Whitewater Memorial State Park in a Tent Trailer.
