Old park in need of some TLC. The full timers do not take pride in their unit and the road and sites are in need of updating. It served the purpose but probably would not stay again. We camped at Michigan City Campground in a Motorhome.

The sites are on top of each other with the park allowing the two vehicles to park in and block access roads.

Written rules such as quiet hours were not enforced, so if you are a person who doesn't care about anyone else, this is the place for you.

The park really should post a picture on their banner part of their website with the pool full of people literally shoulder to shoulder...so it is obvious what type of place it is.

Lots of terracing within each campsite, it was too easy to step off of an 8"x 8" while plugging in utilities and fall into your neighbor's picnic table or awning support.

Can I say insane? I would swear every single person who camps with a gazillion children stay here with NO respect for boundaries. At all. There has been a constant stampede through my site...and when I asked all the interlopers if they minded if I brought my dog over to pee and take a dump in their campsite...they looked at me like there was something wrong with me. But - they had no qualms about traipsing through mine - grown adults of little children... About as rude as they come. Even the office came by and told them to knock it off. So..NEVER returning here. The ultimate in rude camping I have ever witnessed in the 63 years I have camped. We camped at Michigan City Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We arrived after hours (just) and our site package was taped to the office door. However - when we got to the site, it was occupied! When confronted, the occupant said he was "just leaving". No cable but good WiFi - but when we asked for the WiFi password (by phone) were told "this isn't a hotel" and hung up on. A call back got the password begrudgingly. Sites are level and access is easy but they didn't appear very well maintained and there seemed to be a lot of long-term residents. Bathrooms were a LONG walk away - we didn't explore! Price seems high for the level of service and amenities. We camped at Michigan City Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Only stayed one night. The site we were in was way too tight for our 37 foot 5th wheel especially at the angle we had to pull in. Other vehicles made it very difficult to maneuver the RV. Large tree on site didn't help. The entire section near Tent Hill needs to be reconfigured and spruced up a bit. Other sites very messy. Not sure if other sections of the park offered more space? Staff person who checked us in was very pleasant. If we got a site in the 200's, it would have been much better for our RV. We camped at Michigan City Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Worst campground we have visited. We were told on arrival, that even though we had reservations for three days, we would need to move sites after one day.

The second site had issues with the electricity, 30 amp would not work. They didn't have anyone to fix until the day we would be leaving.

When I voiced my concerns, the owner just said he really didn't care because they are always sold out. We would never consider staying here again. Lots are very close to each other. Site surface was gravel and featured a fire ring and picnic table. We camped at Michigan City Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Sites were very cramped and basically dirt, rocks and weeds. Campground does have a pool for kids but overall not someplace we would stop again. The water was brown and seriously stained our toilets (seemed to be rust). $46 a night for this place is way too much. We camped at Michigan City Campground in a Motorhome.

Nice park, nice staff. Level pull through site. Close to shopping. It was really quiet when we were there out of season. We stayed here mainly to go visit Chicago. Drive into town and board the commuter train that takes you into downtown Chicago for just a few dollars. We camped at Michigan City Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed overnight at this campground while driving through Indiana. We stayed on a Saturday night and it was quite busy. There seemed to be people, cars, and campers everywhere. The pull-thru was fine for the night, but too close in proximity for longer than that. They have other sites that are more spacious. This is not a quiet get-away type of place. It is more suitable for hanging out with friends and letting the kids play. We camped at Michigan City Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Premium sites are easy to get into. Hook ups are fine. Long walk to rest rooms and showers. Really nothing wrong, but I expected more from a "premium" site. Check in was easy with friendly staff. We camped at Michigan City Campground in a Motorhome.

Easy access to interstate. Stayed here as a base camp to explore Berrien County, Michigan. Plenty of places to eat in Michigan City. There is a light house on the Michigan Lake shoreline.

Almost full of seasonal campers. Front loop where we stayed mostly under water due to heavy rain when we arrived though most of it did go down when the rain stopped.

Campers staying only 1 or 2 nights are not a priority, squeezed in between seasonal spots and most likely will not get the site you are expecting. This happened to another guest as well. Both of us received "oh well" attitudes with no apology from staff.

Not a well kept campground.

Family of 4 with dog stayed one night. I think its the only full hook up campground in the area. Would not stay here again if avoidable. We camped at Michigan City Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This has to be one of the worst compound we have been at. The bath house was a real dump, sinks out of order, showers didn't work and the ones that did just barely. The staff not too friendly. The site they gave us barely fit my 23 foot travel trailer. Don't waste your money on this place!! We camped at Michigan City Campground in a Travel Trailer.

If you are looking for a quiet place to stay DO NOT reserve this park. Sites are very tight and park is 90 percent permanent residences. Many good rules just not enforced. E.g., visitors must park at office and get a pass.I counted at one point in time 10 cars parked in the 2 spots next to us. Also 11 PM weekend quiet hour, yet the party lasted until 4:10am! A 10- or 11-year-old parked a golf cart across from us and blasted his voice over a bull horn for 10 minutes around 8 PM with 10 adults partying and ignoring him. We have stayed all over the U.S. and this is my first negative review. This is hands down the worst park we have stayed in, especially for the price. Only one dumpster in the whole park. I would give is a zero if that was an option. We camped at Michigan City Campground in a Motorhome.

A very nice park south of Michigan City on 421. Check-in was painless, the owners seemed very nice. Nice clean pool, and the playground looked brand new. We reserved a premium site, which has a cement patio and cement fire ring, plus very nice grass. Overall we had a great time, no complaints!
