Filthy - garbage hadn't been picked up in weeks - filthy toilets and urinals - this place is bad & contacting the owner is a joke - Total slum campground owner. Pool was shut down from health dept. Don't waste your money here - No activities - camp store is a joke - playground broken down & unsafe - worse campground I ever seen. We camped at Mini Mountain Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We were going to stay for the weekend. We drove in, looked around; my wife used the restroom. We left. The place was so run down and dirty it was disgusting . It looked more like a shanty town than a campground . They have a great website but is VERY DECEIVING! This place looks NOTHING like the pictures. BEWARE! We camped at Mini Mountain Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Pool was green. Office wasn't open when supposed to be. Our site that was reserved was given to someone else. Mini golf was in disrepair. Bathrooms dirty and falling apart. Sites were not marked clearly. So unsure which power post was for our site. People driving both cars and golf carts while drinking. There was a DUI where the driver drove off the road, got stuck on a rock/tree stump, manager was called and they never came. Quiet hours not enforced. If you are looking for a family campground this is not the place for you. We camped at Mini Mountain Campground in a Tent.

This place is not worth the money. New campsites were put in the middle of a road. There were no picnic tables or fire rings. The pool was not heated, like the website claims. The dumpsters were not emptied before the busy weekend. People speeding in their vehicles. I'm shocked no kid was hit. No rules enforced. One campsite had a hunk of junk in his yard. No activities for kids. No rules applied. The owners don't care about anything but making money. Dont camp here, spend your money elsewhere. We camped at Mini Mountain Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Looks from the outside are deceiving. Our first camp site was way in the back of park on a muddy VERY SMALL lot. Asked to be moved to a other lot, no problem. Ordered firewood from them that was so wet it wouldn't light. Tried hooking up TV but we needed a more powerful antenna. No restrooms or showers.

The name "mini" is exactly what you'll get.

Staff was very accommodating, but WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!! We camped at Mini Mountain Campground in a Motorhome.

Since our visit last year, the place is under new ownership and new management. We did notice one improvement, the pot holes in the gravel roads have been fixed. Another camper said the pool area also had improvement, but we didn't go to the pool area. The noise level has increased ten-fold. Even management ignores the 11pm quiet hour. While we were there they were catering to a lot of construction type workers that come and go at all hours, driving loud motorcycles. Still only one bath/shower/laundry facility for an 80 acre park. Only 2 washers and 2 dryers. We will not return to this park again. We camped at Mini Mountain Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We stayed here while visiting family in the area. The park is easy to enter from Hwy 2. Owners and staff are helpful and friendly. The park itself is full of long term units many of which are quite run down. Trees are badly in need of trimming to allow passing under without contact. We were led to our site, ME-17, down a very rough, pot holed road and backed in on some gravel, mostly grass. It was quiet. Rain was predicted the second night and we planned to leave very early so asked to be moved up the hill and in to a pull through which they were able to accommodate. While at one time this was probably a very nice park it is in need of some major updating and maintenance. Except for the fact there are few options, we would not stay here again. We stayed in a motorhome. We camped at Mini Mountain Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The RV/MH Hall of Fame and Museum is just a few miles east in Elkhart. It was on our bucket list and we were not disappointed! They allow you to park in their spacious parking lot free one night.

This was a repeat stay, we were here last year. The same friendly staff and owners. The maintenance seems to have been neglected over the past year. The roads had more potholes, but at the speed limit of 5 mph, you don't have to worry about damage to the unit. Some of the roads are paved, some are gravel, the gravel ones have more rain ruts. Some of the turns are a bit tight for a large rig. There are a lot more seasonals and when they come in for the weekend they like to party. If that is your thing, I am sure they would let you join in, they seem to be a friendly group. But it can get a bit noisy. The bathrooms were clean during the week, but got very dirty over the weekend. The spots are close and small, most are gravel, some in the open, some in the shade. We had a shady spot and no TV reception with our antenna. Our spot was also very short for our 34 foot RV. They had a longer one, but the electric was not working in that one. We camped at Mini Mountain Campground in a Motorhome.

The restrooms and showers are a bit dated but clean. The laundry is sufficient but only one washer was working. Friendly owners and employees, very helpful. The sites are level, but very close to each other. There are a lot of annual residences. A very large park with lots of room to walk or ride your bike. We camped at Mini Mountain Campground in a Motorhome.

Very friendly staff. Kids loved the pool. The restrooms are a bit dated, but always clean and maintained. The laundry area wasn't working, so they called someone and had it repaired the next day. They were accommodating and kind. We enjoyed our stay here. Would stay again. We camped at Mini Mountain Campground in a Tent Trailer.

This park is a dump. Roads are narrow; road I had to take to get to pull-through site was partially washed out and deeply rutted. Restroom was a long hike from our campsite and smelled of old urine. Mostly full-time or seasonal, several sites look like they had not been maintained in months. Noisy gas golf carts are everywhere. Lots of dogs. Staff was polite. Pool needed cleaning. We will avoid this campground in the future. We camped at Mini Mountain Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This is NOT a BIG RIG park. Nor a park for any motorhome. Yes, they will take your money and lead you 2 miles into their park to a field. On the narrow road in which no one can pass; you will scrape the sides of your motorhome on tree branches, side to side, top to bottom. There is no way in which to turn around other than backing into a TOO SMALL space on a dead end field site. Opportunity arises to get stuck in mud. Site we finally got had no hookups. Sites within this park are mostly trailers that are there year round or summer rentals. Campfires abound. Great place for kids, dogs and if you have a travel trailer. We camped at Mini Mountain Campground in a Motorhome.

A nice mix of seasonal and weekend campers. Lots of stuff for the kids to do, including swimming, fishing, hiking and playgrounds. The park is beginning to show its age, the mini-golf course is in poor shape. The campground site (W3) that we stayed at was wooded and nice, although a bit tight on space, with trees making backing in even a pop-up a bit difficult. The main means of travel around the park seems to be via golf cart, which is a bit irritating at times. The restrooms were dirty, and there arent't enough of them for the number of campers in the campground. Quiet time is not observed too well, several people made a lot of noise until 1 or 2 in the morning each evening, but this was Memorial Day weekend. The staff is very courteous and helpful. We camped at Mini Mountain Campground in a Tent Trailer.
