Easy to find, wide entrance, tree-lined with white fence! The first building you come to is NOT the office, it is past the small gatehouse, ahead and to the right. Mature trees providing nice shade. Interior roadways are a mix of asphalt and gravel. Our site was loose gravel, not well-packed, and our coach sunk in quite a bit. Dump station on exit. Very clean and well-kept with trash can and non-potable water to clean up. Mainly a Christian retreat, there were many many long-term travel trailers parked there, and many families with children. Lovely playground area for them, and a pool as well. Office staff were very friendly and helpful and there's a small campstore onsite. Wifi was not useable to us, signal was too weak. Trash is collected from the front of your site. Some sites are on the side next to the interstate, but the road noise was not too bad at all. We camped at Cornerstone Campground in a Motorhome.

Very nice campground with easy access off of I-70. Super nice owners who work hard to keep the place up. Great for overnight or longer stays. We camped at Cornerstone Campground in a Motorhome.

Stayed here for work for a couple months so I paid the monthly rate. $650 for full 50 amp hook up. Very helpful staff and very kid friendly in the summer. This is a christian values campground but all they ask is to respect your neighbor and keep the noise down after hours. Had the grandkids come and stay a couple weekends and they had a blast. One of them fell asleep standing up against Grandmas leg he was so tuckered out, lol. Don't quote me on the nightly rate as I never paid that way. Go to their website for current rates. We camped at Cornerstone Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

This campground has a video game room/ camp store with basic needs, however New Castle is just 10 minutes away which has whatever you might need.

Overall Rating:

Cornerstone is a routine favorite of ours. There are several sizes of lots, some shady, and some sun. Sites near the entrance are 50/30 amp full hookup and tend to have less shade. Sites behind the entrance are 30 amp only with water/electric only. Sites are gravel and most are level. The CG tends to fill up quickly on weekends and holidays, so you want to book in advance. Campground owners are warm and welcoming. They work hard to make camper's stays the best possible.

They do accept Passport America, but this can be hit and miss on pricing. We have gotten this price during the week as I recall. Showers and bathrooms are clean. They do deliver very good pizza to your site which is great with a crew of kids when setting up. The playground "gizmo" is the biggest one I have ever seen. Our kids get lost in it frequently. The pool is very nice when it is open.

The only real drawback is the road noise from I-70. The CG is located across the pond, but the pavement on the interstate there is concrete, and the trucks can be rather noisy.

The CG owners have addressed the flooding issues by tiling many of the camp sites this spring. I haven't been there in a good downpour, but it should help that issue tremendously.

Of all the CG's in East Central Indiana, this is our go-to campground. We camped at Cornerstone Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

There are some things to do in New Castle, but it is kinda back-water. You have a walmart and some mid-level and fast food choices. Other than that, choices are Greenfield, or onsite services.

Overall Rating:

We can concur with some of the comments from before. This campground seems to not have any real set rates. They say they are Passport America, but we have paid $22, $28 and this time $45 for the a 50amp, full hook up site on stops during the past year. The sites are well worth the earlier rates, but way over priced for narrow, sloping gravel pads with all hookups at the rear of the pad. Will opt for one of the other options within 10 miles on future semi annual trips. We were checked in by the owner each time who is very nice and helpful and each time assure the Passport rate was applied. There are 13 or 14, 50 amp full hookup sites, all the other are 30 amp with water only, under heavy tree cover. We camped at Cornerstone Campground in a Motorhome.

Very nice, well run park. There are not many full hookup sites, so if you need one make a reservation. Many sites are under heavy tree cover with only 4 or 5 being satellite friendly. This campground is a Christian Retreat Center in it's own description and has very nice facilities. There are meeting facilities and a large bunk house on the grounds. We camped at Cornerstone Campground in a Motorhome.

Nice park and convenient to interstate, but gets flooded when it rains. Very overpriced for facilities offered. Rest rooms were not cleaned daily and often littered with left over items. We have stayed here 2 years in a row when visiting relatives in the area but will not return due to conflict concerning quoted rates. We camped at Cornerstone Campground in a Motorhome.

We spent 2 months here, and was treated like family. The owners bend over backwards to make sure everything is right for you, and will do what it takes to make you happy there. We never once saw dirty bathrooms or shower rooms, the campground itself is clean of people trash, and there's plenty to do without even leaving the campground. They have catch & release fishing, with a well stocked pond, a tube playground that any kid would love to play in, putt putt golf, and a small cafe they make homemade food in on weekends. We arrived when the snow had just left, and the owner made sure to fill our tank with water so we wouldn't be without, as the water wasn't on in the area we stayed in, plus they keep a shower room/restroom open all the time. The other one opened up a couple weeks after we arrived, which was closer to us to use. But we still had access to the other one. They have a lot of activities on weekends for everyone, and it was pretty much a relaxing time we had while there. We camped at Cornerstone Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Walmart is a couple miles away. Kroger about 4. Many fast food places in town, not many family restaurants. Campground makes and delivers homemade pizza to your site.

First, I'm not sure if something changed since the reviews in 2013, but this campground is not at the "Excellent" rating level. We stayed here in our new motor home to run it through all of its systems to make sure everything worked. When I made the reservation I mentioned the new 37 foot motor home and they promised me site 4 which was deep, wide and level. For some reason when we arrived we were switched to site 6 which was deep, narrow, and sloped up at the back (site 4 had a small 20' travel trailer on it). Utilities were located quite a distance from the site in the back so I had to use 2 hoses and my electric extension cord to hook up. All sites appear to be gravel. Seemed strange that we were the only motorized RV in the park - all others were trailers/5th wheels. The campground is right off I70 so we found the highway traffic noise to be annoying, especially at night when trying to sleep. The trees still not having leaves probably didn't help deaden the road noise. On the plus side, they seemed to have a lot of nice amenities for kids. We camped at Cornerstone Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We loved this campground. Surrounded by cornfields, the campground has good asphalt and gravel roads and the sites are well-shaded by mature trees. On our visit, the grounds were gorgeous, with well-kept grass, flower beds and seasonal Fall decorations of dried corn stalks and pumpkins. There are clean showers and restrooms at each side of the park. Free WiFi is available at the cafe/office and the surrounding sites. The owner's wife is a caterer, and there is an on-site retreat center and banquet hall, in addition to the cafe. The cafe serves breakfast daily, as well as coffee, cold drinks, hamburgers, nachos, popcorn, hot dogs and delicious freshly made pizza, which they will deliver to your campsite at no charge. Amenities include a fishing pond, horseshoe pit, basketball court, putt-putt golf, swimming pool, shuffleboard and two playgrounds. The water in this area has a lot of iron, so use a filter if that bothers you. This is truly a family park, and the owners are some of the nicest folks we've met. This campground is among the best we have visited and we look forward to staying here again. We camped at Cornerstone Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a very nice campground. The grounds are well maintained and in very good condition. The location is easy to find from the Interstate with all paved roads en route. The host are very friendly. Met us at the entrance and guided us to our site. Interior roads are paved and the sites are gravel. All sites are level with lots of grass and trees. Rest rooms are spacious, clean and modern. Our rate was a weekday special for the month of August. Our Wi-Fi signal was strong and fast. Loaded with amenities. We would definitely stay here again.
